    Aston Martin DB11 full review: aex.ae/2xA1WWr
    The Aston Martin DB11 has been given suspension tweaks and a new engine in the form of a 503bhp V8. But with a lower top speed and a slower 0-62mph figure compared to its V12 brother, has Aston Martin actually made the DB11 sweeter than it was before? Time to find out…

    Can't believe people are hating on the styling and interior. I love it all way around.

    AMG manages to get 600+ from the same engine. The V8 with a tune might actually be the bargain

    If people are mad the Maserati Ghibli uses Chrysler parts in its cabin, how do AM buyers feel about sharing infotainment controls with the most basic C300? The V8 is a great engine but it's found in a cheaper car at a fraction of the price... Not really sure AM customers are struggling to save that extra $10K

    • @davidmcfakename458
      @davidmcfakename458 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The typical Aston Martin customer could not care less about what brand his infotainment system is or with whom it's shared. An AM salesman I know has even gone as far as to propose Gaydon to just get ride of the entire Sat-Nav-thing at all.

    • @DejaVuMonDieu
      @DejaVuMonDieu 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That would actually make more sense in my opinion. The word most thrown around with AM, Bentley and RR is bespoke; something to separate their vehicles from mainstream brands. Highlighting the V8 as bestowing the car with better balance and lighter weight is merely clever marketing by AM. It's like a house with no windows but the agent says fresh air can get in more easily or a gaming computer with an outdated processor but hey it's never going to overheat.

    can't believe people comparing a state of the art turbocahrged V8 with an old V12. take the same technology of the V8 and build a V12 with it and you easily will have 50% more torque and more power. SO if the V8 is 600 HP, the V12 shall be 1000 HP.

    Do we need a V12 anymore....?, other than the romance of a Ferrari having been the spiritual owner of the V12 Cars today in the 21st Century are making way more power,more torque, are lighter,even better on fuel foe Heavens sake!, but is the V12 really worth £70K more than the V8?, for the sake of a few tenth here and there the V8 is at moment all the Aston you'll need.

      If I'm not mistaken, the V12 from the DB9, Vanquish, etc. is built at a Ford engine plant in Cologne, Germany. So effectively, these are also German engines.

    Great looking video, but an ugly looking car. This is a disgrace for Aston Martin.
    That rear end and most of the details have completely ruined the car's looks. Surely they could have made the car look better without adding those meaningless overdone details even when keeping areodynamics in mind.
