- Looking to buy an Aston Martin DB11? Then this is the video to watch. In this buying and depreciation guide of the Aston Martin DB11, I am showing you the full depreciation curve, the depreciation per year and per 1000 miles driven. Furthermore, I show you how these numbers differ between the V8, V12, and AMR. At the end of the video, we will also figure out which offer the best value for money.
You can contact me on fourwheeltrader@gmail.com if you would like a personalized analysis.
The video is structured in a top-down way. That means that we first have a look at the full market and some general price levels. After this, we will dive into the details.
Specifically, this means that the video for the Aston Martin DB11 is split into a few parts. We will start by having a look at the full Aston Martin’s depreciation curve, including the DB9. This gives a good indication of the DB11’s position in the depreciation curve. In the second part, we will focus on the DB11 and figure out the depreciation per year. All these numbers will then be split between the V8, V12, and AMR. From there onwards, we will use the DB9’s depreciation curve to say something about the possible future price development for the DB11. The DB11 market is still far from bottoming, but the V12 might be at the inflection point.
At the of the end of the video, I will show you how you can find the best deals in the market and what some of these deals are.

*Which car would you like to see analysed next?*
Please teach us how we can do our own analysis at home ? Thank you
I'm working on some software which will allow everyone to do their own analysis. More about this soon!
Great video like always! ;) Audi TT RS depreciation would be interesting, especially now that has been announced that Audi will probably drop the TT from the lineup. Very sad for the amazing Audi 5 cylinder engine.
What about the G Wagon?
Aston Martin Rapide/Rapide S/Rapide AMR
All your videos are super helpful to me when picking the car I need to buy, I like expensive cars but don’t necessarily like outside of normal expected depreciation and you do a good job helping me identify that sooner rather than later
Great analysis! Thank you and thanks for the call out. My wife loved that! 🙂
Hope the analysis was helpfull :)
Really appreciate you putting this great content out brother! 👍
Your analysis and comments are very helpful, thank you.
Good, gives me hope on acquiring an AMR in the future
Hey! Thanks for the work you do! If there is more interest from other people it would be interesting to see Rolls Royce Phantom analysis. Keep doing great jo !
Thanks! There is a video about the ghost market on my channel. That might be helpfull for now.
These are awesome love that you make these.
Analysis for the Rapide S please!
Keep up the great work on channel!
Would be nice if you can update it with 2023 data

918 vs Carrera GT
Please do the Vanquish S 2005
Thanks

I wanted to know if now is a good time to buy a DB9, with the hope it will appreciate in 10years
IMHO if you want to make money on a DB9 over a 10 year hold, I would focus on buying a manual version. The automatics are a lower entry point though but unfortunately will have a lot less upside given production numbers. However, the DBS is a different story from the DB9 completely.
We are now at end of Feb 2021 - What would be a fair price for a 2019 Db11 v8 at end of 2022?
Assuming less than 10k mikes?
Hi, love to watch the videos. We are considering a morgan plus 4, as they remain quite stable true the years... could be an interesting investigation.
True, good suggestion!
Would you consider open sourcing the data you have collected so others can add to it over time?
I think that's a no! 😁
Thank you for the great videos and the time you put into them. Can you please analyze the DB11 Volante if you have a chance?
There is no difference between the coupe and volante when it comes to depreciation.
Please can you do the Porsche 986 S?
What would you say the prices for the 2018-2019-2020 V8 should be at the end of 2022? Assuming all have less than 10000 miles?
Difficult to say without a full analysis.
How about the Mercedes-Benz R129 SL series.
How about the GT350R?
How about doing one on cars people can actually afford? Maybe the Jag F-Type, BMW Z4, Audi TT, Alfa 4C, or the Porsche Cayman. You know, cars in the $30-60K range for used.
Most of them are covered on my channel. Though, there is not yet a comparison of them :)
@@fourwheeltrader Thank you. I will search for them, because I am considering each one. Too bad I only get 1. Thanks again.
Ferrari F12 & 812 Superfast. You see people saying prices will flatten. I doubt it.
I doubt it either - only low volume neo vintage Ferraris like the 355/360cs/430manual/612 manual/458 Speciale/488pista will flatten...others will slide ad infinitum.
Thanks, good suggestion!
I am sure these cars are on their way to 70k before maybe recovering - as 550/575 did. But unlike a 550/575 they are now so complicated that repair in the non-dealer network, in my view, is unrealistic (dual clutch gearbox repair? No hope). So perhaps these will go down further as they'll get no support at that level - I know you cannot predict this - but worth considering.
I own an F12 too! @@fourwheeltrader
SLS AMG coupe
Please do BMW F12 M6 cabriolet next!
The current line up isn't as beautiful as the DB9.It is one of the best looking car designs ever created. All right,I own one.Never the less they look great from and angle.
Maserati GranTurismo, GranTurismo S, & GranTurismo Sport
Please do the Bentley Bentayga
great!
Preowneds are a steal.
DB11 AMR is a steal at 110K. Wouldn't worry about depreciation after that point. DB11 V8, I don't know how I would value that personally, given it's so close to the Vantage but I'll say maybe 90K-ish sounds fair.
2019 Vantage, I think this still has to come below 95K before it's worth considering.
DBS Superleggera. At 160K a steal. I wonder how far the Volante has to drop. I can't say it's worth it at 250K but at 175K, I'll argue that that's reasonable for a Volante.
ғɪʟʟ 1ɴ ᴛ҉ ʜ3 ʙʟᴀɴᴋs thank you for this share. Was looking at the DBS Superleggera, highly considering it but I feel like waiting a year or 2.
DB11 AMR at $110k? Lol lmk where I'm picking it up that day, I can't find anything under $170k I think
Dogleg manual - too weird for me...........didn't realize how expensive they were when new - still too expensive in my book.
