Mr. Miculek is the uncle/grandpa we all wish we had. He always leads with safety and gives us incredible insights into the years of knowledge he has obtained.
As always Jerry is very safe on the range with chamber flags. The double up on hearing protection is not something that i have ever seen anyone else address, except for the other Miculek family members. As our British cousins might say, hypothetically, jolly good show Mr Miculek !

Video suggestion - you talked about rifle recoil control, and how most people hold the rifle too tight, and how you need to find the balance. This was too brief, but very interesting. Could we get a longer deep dive video on this subject? Also, preferably you could demonstrate all this on a rifle without a competition muzzle brake on it?

I noticed that when I shoot one handed on pistol and grip too tightly, my hand will start shaking. So i back off a little to 70% tight

This is the second video in a row of him I’ve watched and in both videos I noticed that the frame rate of the cameras are too slow to catch all of his shots…that’s impressive.
He does a shotgun video where his finger is faster than the gun. It was crazy.

Just wondering. Did the AFT ever or wanting to take Jerry’s Finger/Hand? He the fastest. Or maybe register his shooting hand? Just like they wanna make a piece of plastic ( brace) illegal. And register are pistol brace.
Everything Jerry said including the knowledge he shared is 1000% accurate…. As a combat marine I know an expert when I see one…real world dooshes, concealed draw idiots, or rifle drills by morons…. it makes me 100% confident that Jerry is the one to listen to….

Stupid question, why did he need to pull the charging handle after loading the mag? Wasnt the bolt open already when the flag was in the chamber?
The bolt only stays open on empty mags and intentionally activating the bolt catch. When he pulled the bolt to open out the flag, the bolt closed and had when a mag was loaded the bolt had to be re-actuated
Habit.
Some don't like to use the bolt release button. Alot of people, especially ex military, are drilled to pull back the charging handle and release.....I was told that's also how you clear a jamb, so it simplifies the manual of arms.

I would love to get really good at shooting but living in California it is tough. Unless you live in the sticks there is not a lot of places to train and getting ammo here is terrible. Also getting upgrade parts here is not the easiest…

The smart thing to do would be to eschew the mass produced weapons designed specifically to kill and maim en masse (school children more often than not) demonstrated here and pursue a hobby that requires some grace, reflecting gentlemanly comportment, that rewards skill. Even Dick Cheney failed to kill his companion with sportsman's shot gun.
Like chess or billiards, my man? Please consider that this man is demonstrating how you or a law enforcement officer should employ that weapon to stop a school shooter. Women and children can afford to be foolish. Men cannot.

You need to check on that status. AR's are not the most used in mass shootings, it is pistols by a large margin.
And leave them exclusively in the hands of governments, which collectively worldwide killed around 100 million of their own (disarmed) people during the 20th century? (excluding losses in open warfare) Actual random mass homicides (not multiple casualty gang shootings) are one of the least common causes of death. Go preach to the kids in karate classes about their violent sport, while they learn responsibility, self control, and sportsmanship.
