Direct sunlight and heat can accelerate the aging of a product and break down its active ingredients. Countertops and vanities that are away from a window are passable, but it’s usually best to store your skin care products in a cabinet or drawer where the sun’s rays can’t reach them. It actually adds confusion for me. A trainer with Eminence told me that oil always goes last, that moisturizer can not penetrate through the oil, but the oil can through the moisturizer.

Eminence Organics skin care products do not contain any mineral oils that may create a barrier on the skin, so our moisturizers will be able to penetrate through the oils! You're actually welcome to apply our oils before or after your moisturizer, or simply by adding a couple of drops into your favorite Eminence Organics moisturizer.
