What a lovely craft environment! Very impressed with your collections, so many beautiful things! I totally get that it is tempting to hoard special items! The window opening, two different ways, is clever and wonderful! I just got done reorganizing my studio space and I really love it! Hope you enjoy loads of crafting time in your very special space. 😥RACHEL, I'm sorry you have not been feeling well, and hope you are back to feeling great. From your voice, it sounds as though you are much better. My goodness you have done a ton of work! You have even done a bunch of labeling. Between moving and all your work planning and organizing your craft room, I'm guessing that's likely what got you under the weather. Well, now you can relax, pat yourself on your back, put your feet up, enjoy two macchiatos, be proud of your beautiful craft room, and soak up all the amazing things surrounding you! JUST POPPED UP on my You Tube today. I love your craft room. I immensely enjoy the sounds of Italy from your open window in the summer ~ the dogs, the bells, etc. Your room is wonderfully put together and organized. LOVE that beautiful Window- so fabulous- I am beginning to believe that I deserve a Art/ Craft Room- and a walk in Closet with an open plan kitchen- an Annex - large driveway- private Gate home with a Green house
Love the quilt on the chair, a reminder of your mum everyday. You are very blessed to have something so precious especially when you are so far away from her in Australia. I enjoyed sticky beaking in your room. I have trouble deciding where to put everything and it hinders the creative flow. Liked the way you could open the window in two ways. Brilliant idea. Wow! so beautiful love your room just for you crafting, the view from the window is amazing in the States no apartments windows are that large, I could just see myself with that window with a screen & the window opened ALLLLLLL day crafting, sewing & making journals. I really love that bright 9 drawer flowery square you have that holds all the things for your threads, really nice set up😄
They are Ikea wooden drawers. I glued some pretty gift wrap paper to them. I really love it. Thanks so much! 😊
Rachel, The craft space is incredible. I am so happy you can dance in there now! Everything is so lovely. I love all your vintage boxes and how you've organized them. Love all the shelf space, it's just yummy eye candy. I can imagine my craft space with shelfing and wow, that would be so helpful. It sure takes a lot of work to organize a craft room, but you have done an amazing job with yours. I absolutely love it. Oh the quilt your mom made is the perfect touch. What a beautiful was to start a crafting day. Thank you for sharing your room with us. Lol, now I know there is still hope for my own room.

Beautiful! So cosy and yet bright and airy. I like the way you've got all of your "reach first" things so close to hand.
I also use vintage finds for storage. Every old one-of-a-kind tin, crate, box, etc. makes me smile. Though, of course, the newer, often plastic storage, we can buy in quantities, tends to be stackable.
Thanks so much for sharing your home with us. We hear you describe it often, but I'll have a much clearer picture in my mind, now. Especially of the man on the riding mower!😆

I had to go back and have a second look and then I went back three years ago when you showed messy and the cleaned up. Oh my gosh your craft room is a dream and having the table in front of the window makes so much different I love how you explained your organization. Rach, I feel so blessed to have gotten to know you through our TH-cam community! You are a gem and have definitely been helping me c o p e with the cancer weirdness and likely have no idea how. When I see a new video up, I smile and know that for a few minutes, everything fades into the background, and I can pull out my "stuff" and create along with you. I think I love your post office stories so much because of the human element in them. Now I want to re-watch a video...love you girlfriend!!❤😊
