Omg me and when I did for an experiment, I felt good at first then on the 3rd day I felt so fucking cold even when in the hottest water and I was having constant seizures and lack of eating. God it was horrible and I hate be cold I’d rather be hot
Yea and it would suck to have it as well. It's just like one day I'm watching TH-cam videos then all of a sudden I hear a gunshot and then I feel sudden pain. Fuck you brain I just missed 30 seconds of pewdiepies new video!!!!!! And why because my stupid brain decided to role play fucking world war 3!!!! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
while i have never been diagnosed i experienced this about once a month but possibly 4x that amount if i was stressed. to me it always sounded like crashing symbals or the whining sound radios make turned up really high
My mother did the same thing unfortunately, took me having a mental breakdown and stabbing myself to get her to acknowledge I needed help, parents can be shitty sometimes
@@mendedfaun1372 your parents probably have you anti psychotics, considering you stabbing your own self probably means that there is something very wrong with you.
Do you by chance see ghosts, occasionally too? I wonder if it's related, because all of the women in my family both have EHS and have had several paranormal experiences, myself included....
+RigorAmortis Usually seeing things is related to anxiety, stress and fear. I used to think I saw stuff, and I sure did. But in my opinion, I think its nothing more than your mind and eyes playing with you.

+Ben Fusilli aw but if I killed myself I couldn't bask in the attention I so desperately beg for but shortly relying to a comment.😳 and how about you back the fuck up and think about how you could be telling someone that's actually suicidal to kill themselves you fucking piece of garbage. Bye.😊😘
That ironic twist at the end is great! I didn't see it coming. It's a really good story, altogether. A very original topic on which the story is based. I've never heard of this disorder before, so I'm going to look it up to see if it's real. I very much enjoyed the story! 😁
Its crazy how one little sentence in the end can increase the excellence of the story. Kudos to the author for writing not only a scary but also an informative CreepyPasta.
I like this creepypasta, because it's got a basis in reality. Everyone's experienced something weird like that before falling asleep. I once even experienced something similar to one of the events described in the story. Like in the story, I was on the verge of sleep, not quite dreaming but vaguely hallucinating that I was in a forest. Then there was a sound like a train horn bearing down on me and a bright light coming from inside my head, if that makes sense, and suddenly I was fully awake.
Llylith Chan Some people think that if you let yourself you can astral project. I get that feeling too, but I've never not been able to not jerk awake. Idk if I really believe that anyway. lol
Llylith Chan You were probably actually dreaming, or experiencing sleep paralysis. In those moments where you jerk awake, your body reflexively forces you to do so because something in your brain misfired and your relaxation was mistaken for passing out or falling. Your brain is checking to make sure you are functioning properly. Like when you drop your phone and the battery falls out, the first thing you do is put the battery back and try to turn the phone back on. You wouldn't consciously be aware of the fact that you were about to jerk awake, and you wouldn't be able to control the involuntary reaction even if you were aware of it.
the scariest thing is… this syndrome is real Exploding head syndrome is a type of parasomnia. Parasomnias are a category of sleep disorders that occur during the transitions between sleep and waking or between different stages of sleep. People with EHS hallucinate a sudden and alarmingly loud noise while they are falling asleep or when they are waking up.
Taking Back Fireflies “Come on it was two years ago” 🤣, honestly love that. I made comments several years ago and people still respond. I can’t even remember what I said!
Most scary stories are so repetitive and I usually can guess what happens and don't really get scared by them. But man! ur stories always gets me and they are amazing! Keep up the good work man!
Auditory hallucinations on the verge of sleep are quite common actually. Especially if you have tried lucid dreaming. You become acutely aware of that time between being awake and sleep. Most people forget falling asleep. However if you awake in the morning and go back to sleep right away this is the best time to experience these things.
If this is exploding head syndrome then i have some experience with it. About 3 years ago i used to sleep in the living room with a plasma tv on. I was on the verge of sleep then suddenly i hear extremely loud static and i saw flashing lights. I always thought it was the tv but now that i think about it, the tv doesn't have static, it had a blue screen with no noise.
I started to get chills when I remember all those times I've heard my sister calling my name when she had her earphones on or was occupied with something else, not from fear, but from the thrill. I think most people just don't understand how to feel inspired by it, when I mean inspired, I mean having a sense of isolation with your mind, only when I'm in a train of deep thought do they occur. Like when I write and I give myself a moment of science I sometimes doze off and hear the single crash or bang, it's almost feels like my mind is trying to keep me awake to what I deem important to me. I feel unique with it. The way I see it, it's almost like having someone else with me inside my head trying to help me on staying on task.
Congrats on 1 million creeps! I've been watching and listening to your videos for a long while even though I don't think I've ever commented. You honestly got me into horror, before this I really hadn't been into scary movies and only read the occasional creepypasta. Thank you so much for all your hard work and the endless entertainment you provide :-)! Sorry about all the copyright stuff on the one million video tho :,-(.
Swag Potato oh that's happened at least one time to everyone. That's an electric jolt your body sends out when you're blood pressure gets too low. it happens to lots of people when they're going to sleep. It feels like you're falling or hitting and when you're dreaming you tend to dream of falling or getting hit when it happens. But all it really is is your body keeping you functioning 👍🏻
nice one! I've got EHS or something similar too, and actually found this pasta while googling for a documentary about the disorder... The noise really comes from inside the head so it's not that unbelievable that even deaf people are able hear it. It's still a creepy disorder though, I could tell stories...
congrats on 1 million subscribers creeps!! you deserve everyone of them cause your narrations are amazing keep it up cause I will definitely keep watching!!
For the past year or so, There have been a few instances of me waking up to a loud explosion/crashing sound jolting me awake. No one else heard it. Thanks for this creepy ass pasta.
When I was a teenager, i used to hallucinate right before falling asleep. One time I was covered in snakes, but mostly it was a ringing phone by my bed. I didn't have a phone at the time. I would reach over and pick it up. "Hello?" then I would realize that not only did I not have a phone, but my hand wasn't even by my ear, it was down at my side. I found it more annoying at the time then anything else. This is why I am dismissive of any spooky story where stuff happens only while the person is going to sleep. That just screams not real to me.
+mende abai I am in no way saying that EHS is not a real condition, or that there are not a whole host of other sleep disorders. I was speaking about those people who exhibit symptoms of such disorders mistaking them for something supernatural. This is particularity common with such disorders as sleep paralyses which often comes with the hallucination of some creature siting on top of you while you laying in bead helpless. I understand your concern and desire to leave such a lengthy replay as mental health denial is such a huge problem. So let me be clear that I am making a commentary about a trope in horror writing that I have a problem with BECAUSE these sleep disorders are so prevalent.
@CreepsMcPasta I got worried that you disabled comments due to a shitstorm of sorts when i saw that one of your videos had it's comments disabled after the Lights Out thingy. Glad to see everything's fine Creeps!

The scariest part of this story is that real people actually experience exploding head syndrome

Yea and it would suck to have it as well. It's just like one day I'm watching TH-cam videos then all of a sudden I hear a gunshot and then I feel sudden pain.
