I think it's stupid. Genetic mutation is by NO MEANS a design flaw and those alien should have known it too. I see genetic mutation as a double edged sword. New versions of software can have bugs that earlier iterations didn't have, so just because a user experiences a fault/bug with version 2 of a piece of software that doesn't mean version 1 has the same fault. Especially when code is rewritten, new features are added or when supposed redundant code is removed, lots of things can introduce bug even a simple typo. I like this pasta. It's not about "SP00KY GHOSTS" or the monsters under the bed, It's a much realer fear. That not only you, but your entire species, everything you and anyone you know or know of means nothing in the larger scale. It's the fear of insignificance. Very nicely done.
Man, the Elfen lied theme really hit it at the end... This is probably the most perfect ending of the world as the way we knew, I personally would cry myself to madness with it.
The author who wrote this really nailed the Lovecraft theme here. The theme of outer beings beyond our understanding that created us and the fear that mankind is insignificant no matter how much we accomplish. The universe will not notice if we suddenly just vanish into thin air, it'll just keep going.
a very sad story. I like these. the ones that aren't consumed by horror, but have character development, and really get you attached to the characters. "so we can see the end together"
does this remind any of you of hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy? or that Southpark episode where earth is a reality TV series! haha that was a good one
I think that life would just take the same course as before. Never ending loop. They'll enjoy those beers together yet again but not for millions of years later
This is now one of my all time favorite anything's. You also has to play Lilium(that's what I know it as) at the end to really stoke the cold flame of feels.
OKay the addage of Lilium piano version made this story sound from suspenseful to a bitter sweet tale where you really feel useless in the end unable to do anything with a force that could possibly end the world that you know. It made this story seem very very sad and Lilium in the background made that even more so. Bravo man this was great.
This was a very intriguing story, and it's one of the few stories I've read/listened to recently that's actually pretty good! Keep up the good work, Creeps! You make us proud ;)
I have literally fallen asleep to this every night since you've put this out. It's my favorite sci-fipasta (don't know what else to call it, as it isn't really creepy. Lol)
0:33 well straight away I have some gripes and questions, the fact that the earth is spinning at approximately 1000 miles per hour I’m almost positive if it suddenly just stopped it would have quite an impact on the planet taking in count Newton’s first law of motion an object in motion will stay in motion unless an equal or greater force is applied which means if the earth suddenly stopped spinning at its 1000 miles per hour everything not secured down onto the planet will suddenly start flying at 1000 miles per hour and everything secured down will have 1000 Newton’s of force applied to it, buildings would collapse, there would be massive tsunami‘s, shit would get real
This is one of my favorite creepypastas. One of the main reasons is the ending. It states "And there we sat, laughing and drinking beer until our world ended... maybe." It doesn't actually say what happened. It just remains up for speculation.
That felt more like the plot of an apocalypse movie than a creepypasta. I still liked it, it just didn't feel like it really fit with the title it was given.
is this another "science is the root of evil" stories? wow i loved the ending. by the way, what would you do if you found a high tech super computer deep under ground that looked extremely ancient and started tinkering with it and discovered various discrepancies in its coding software among trillions of files and started executing various functions and repairing coding errors only to discover that it contained earths operating system and you were causing changes across the planet. what would you do?
I'd program it to hook me up with tons of goodies and a huge stash of greens. Cuz i know i would need to smoke a lot to try staying sane after finding that out.
+AJK 147 Music Actually, Ben is real. He programmed you to think that he wasn't, though. Ben did that to all of us but I found out the truth through a glitch.
well, if he's writing this from a first person past tense perspective, and said "probably" at the end, that means he's writing this hundreds of millions of years after the paleozoic era (dinosaurs) ended and humans are back, along with him, recalling what happened. that would explain deja vu... what an amazingly written story.

Ong
The scariest part of the creepypasta was when an ad jumpscared me at the end
that thumbnail looks familiar
What's the name of the picture? Would make a good desktop background.
it looks like Disturbed's logo just with the face darkened out
Honestly I can't remember, I just use "Search google for image" if I ever need to find it again. Though I've found some pretty good results usually
XD
+Flame Kai'zer ctrl + u then ctrl + f and lookup thumbnail url
The author who wrote this really nailed the Lovecraft theme here. The theme of outer beings beyond our understanding that created us and the fear that mankind is insignificant no matter how much we accomplish. The universe will not notice if we suddenly just vanish into thin air, it'll just keep going.
been watching you for so so many years and i still love your channel man!! thank you so much for doing this for so many years ❤
This genuinely made me question my entire existence
JReece 2601 hell fucking yeaaa
I don’t get how it was scary though, I’m half way through the video and it just has been interesting, where’s the scare factor?
Loaf_of_Bean S
ngfl, that’s kinda a stupid question to have halfway through a story.
elfen lied
elfen is a jerk
Blake Stallsmith of the matrix lmao
Elfen Laid. Elfen got laid.
I don't know about these other 2, but I know what you're talking about.
You31 I don't know about you, but I know what you're talking about.
i always feel like the red outlined letters on the pics of the title of ur videos make some sort of secret paragraph
a very sad story. I like these. the ones that aren't consumed by horror, but have character development, and really get you attached to the characters. "so we can see the end together"
does this remind any of you of hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy?
or that Southpark episode where earth is a reality TV series! haha that was a good one
Well since it's 2019, and we're still here I guess they got it.
then covid happened :O
This was a well written story. I would say it was narrated well but that should be a given at this point.
My good Sir, You deserve those subscribers.
"The stars went out and the sky turned a deep blue. Then we saw words form. 'Illegal Function Call. Rebooting'".
Ayy lmao Elfen Lied
Btw awesome job with 1M subs
The music's called Lilium,I think!
it seems like I wasn't the only one who noticed the opening of elfin lied
I knew someone else had to have noticed it. lillium.
Yes! someone else heard it too
This was a very intriguing story, and it's one of the few stories I've read/listened to recently that's actually pretty good! Keep up the good work, Creeps! You make us proud ;)
I have literally fallen asleep to this every night since you've put this out. It's my favorite sci-fipasta (don't know what else to call it, as it isn't really creepy. Lol)
Do you have an upload schedule? If you do I haven't been able to catch on
Maberly only on days divisible by prime numbers and appear in the 4th 8th and 123rd decimal point of pi
22nd last time i came this early harambe was live
he will be missed
#dicksoutforharambe
+DARK ALCHEMIST 9000 not really
lourde james did you go see harambe before he died? Did you even know who he was before he became a meme?
HARAMBE IS LIFE
0:33 well straight away I have some gripes and questions, the fact that the earth is spinning at approximately 1000 miles per hour I’m almost positive if it suddenly just stopped it would have quite an impact on the planet taking in count Newton’s first law of motion an object in motion will stay in motion unless an equal or greater force is applied which means if the earth suddenly stopped spinning at its 1000 miles per hour everything not secured down onto the planet will suddenly start flying at 1000 miles per hour and everything secured down will have 1000 Newton’s of force applied to it, buildings would collapse, there would be massive tsunami‘s, shit would get real
That's the only thing you found wrong in the story... 🤔🤔
No that wouldn't. Because earth didn't stop, everything else did. That's why they said when they looked outside of earth they found discrepancy
the new title card thing is really cool iv seen this in a few of the new pastas. keep up the great work creeps
Congratulations on 1 million + subscribers. :)
dose any one else think that this could be alternative script to the matrix?
No But The Nxt Simpsons Episode
+AJK 147 Music rap gane marge simpson
+drhashtagyolo game*
would be a better SciFi story than the matrix
+the electronic Orchestra no
You just got pranked
This is one of my favorite creepypastas. One of the main reasons is the ending. It states "And there we sat, laughing and drinking beer until our world ended... maybe." It doesn't actually say what happened. It just remains up for speculation.
First actually good pasta I've heard in a long while
probs the best type of creepypastas, the ones that make you feel that the world is some game, it feels so surreal, and I love it so much :D
That felt more like the plot of an apocalypse movie than a creepypasta. I still liked it, it just didn't feel like it really fit with the title it was given.
What did they say? They said..."Send bob and vegana"
is this another "science is the root of evil" stories? wow i loved the ending. by the way, what would you do if you found a high tech super computer deep under ground that looked extremely ancient and started tinkering with it and discovered various discrepancies in its coding software among trillions of files and started executing various functions and repairing coding errors only to discover that it contained earths operating system and you were causing changes across the planet. what would you do?
Immortal Wolf push all the buttons at once,of course.I enjoyed your comment.
I'd program it to hook me up with tons of goodies and a huge stash of greens. Cuz i know i would need to smoke a lot to try staying sane after finding that out.
Thats why you never change production code
Congrats on 1mil subscribers Creeps!
9/10, adequate delivery of the narration. Story was a bit slow, but it was necessary and it had a bigger punch than most others I've heard.
aliens please turn 2016 off and turn it back on again.
2020*
try 2020
im born on 25th of march wtf

+Keelan Barron lol

That was fricken AWESOME!
Gotta love creepy pastas. Interesting as hell, regardless of how much time has passed
Lowkey, this is my Bob Ross
At least the tech support is good. Can't say that about a few specific companies here on Earth.
I swear to god you are reading a newspaper instead of pursuing the meaning of the ultimate puzzle of humanity with this brilliant man?!
I would like too add as well the smart guys friend is a dick
He should of read the reply he got from the alien tech guy in an indian accent, would of lightened up the mood a bit.
I just realized that the ending is "Lilium" from elfen lied. That's awesome. Nice one Creeps.
41:05 Tbh I fangirled more than I should have when I recognized the background music
Ben is a cool 90s hacker.
Ben Isn't Real..
+AJK 147 Music no shit Sherlock
+AJK 147 Music Actually, Ben is real. He programmed you to think that he wasn't, though. Ben did that to all of us but I found out the truth through a glitch.
+AJK 147 Music I am real
+Ben Anderson no (off to the side; guys we have a broken code)
"The Day the earth stood still" would've been a much more obvious joke.
Why would God blink, he's an omnipotent being. Would his eyes really dry out as fast as our eyes?
Why would a mythical creation of the arrogant human mind blink?
really enjoying your storys. listening every night.
well, if he's writing this from a first person past tense perspective, and said "probably" at the end, that means he's writing this hundreds of millions of years after the paleozoic era (dinosaurs) ended and humans are back, along with him, recalling what happened. that would explain deja vu... what an amazingly written story.
