I would love to see a more in-depth video of the whole washing process, especially of the crystals you found Dan. I think that once the viewers get to see more of the finished work there might be an increase in sales for Avant Mining.
Oxalic acid solution and soaking for several days with minimal scrubbing and most of the iron colored staining and clay is gone leaving a pure white cluster and matrix.
he showed you the depth of the process. you spray the water and it cleans them. u can scrub but risk damage. as for what they look like go to the link he gave you and look. pretty easy if you ask me. the increase of sales you claim. comes from people viewing their page like he set it up for. this man is very good at his job please dont tell him how to do his job.
i’m a gaming channel, but i find interest in many things. i’m from arkansas and i’ve been to this place once abt 6 years ago i only found sandstone. i’ve been watching you for abt 3 years and i just found this video. crazy that you’ve been to my state. your videos are amazing keep your the work!
Hi cousin! I have been binge watching your recent videos and the crystals are absolutely amazing. I love the clusters you show cleaned up at the end of this video. Oh, all of the garnet from Washington in a video last week are jaw dropping. Thank you for sharing your treasures.
Wow Dan !! What an amazing dig, those crystals are spectacular. I was ooh-ing and aah-ing out loud watching this incredible content ! Thank you so much for this wonderful series from Arkansas, i can't wait to bust out of the Igloo here in Winterpeg then go out to explore and treasure hunt !
My DD and I are totally blown away - we managed to find avant mining, so come next month we'll be flying out to Arkansas "on a jolly" as we say in the family, and afterwards we'll be visiting family in Monaco. Many, many thanks for this lovely video, Dan. Moll and I are so happy for finding you! *Hugs* Wendi & Molly 😊
Thanks for taking this adventure Dan I’ve enjoyed seeing the crystal picking! Also enjoyed the direction to the other channels for other perspectives as well with all of the involvement I felt like I was almost there with you all 🙂👍
Been excited to watch this one! I'm in TN but a lot of my friends often go dig in Arkansas and they find some of the most stunning and amazing crystals with such unique etchings and striations.
Your energy in this video especially towards the ending was just phenomenal keep up the great work , and I love that your out doing what you love and you just love doing it !
I have never watched any of your videos without giving you a thumbs up. I love watching your adventures. After seeing this video, I have no idea how you managed to pick just one or two, I would have looked at those guys and said "OK, let's talk about shipping", then I would have put all that up on the internet and made a fortune. Those clusters were gorgeous.
Dan, I can't believe you came this far just for crystal. Had you traveled another 100 or so miles south you could have gone to Murfreesboro to the only Diamond Mine in North America.
Nice video so far dan love watching your videos of everything you do.when I'm feeling down you make me better maybe your voice is it and finding treasures awesome now to finish video
Did you forget the Post Office Gift to us all...If It Fits - It Ships...doesn't matter the weight, Scarf or Stone, it all costs the same! Great Crystals.
Sometimes I just throw you on when I'm doing this or that and half listen half watch. I just wanted to say I love your attitude and content, your awesome and super informative. Earned my sub and I hope the comment helps a bit
PSA!!!!! In the event it happens again on this video, if you comment and receive a reply asking you to contact Dan Via Whatsapp or other similar means, there is a bot\scammer attempting to impersonate Dan, Please report the comment so it can be handled quickly. we appreciate your patience as we deal with the issue as best we can.
It is because if I don't talk about the price I get hundreds of people yelling at me in the comments that I did not tell them what it was worth. I can't win.....
@@Danhurd I'm sorry for being rude Dan. I think you enjoy the hunt more than the value of your finds. I've detected for 45 years and have found many valuable finds. It's the small unusual things that make the hobby fun. Not the monetary value. You are an inspiration for me with your zeal for the hunt and recovery. Thank you for being you.
I watched the other videos on the quartz Chrystal’s. It would be nice if you explained how the crystals came to be under all that clay and how the Chrystal’s were formed? They are amazing that’s for sure!
I'm so glad that you enjoyed Arkansas! There are a lot of great things to do here if you like the outdoors! You should have gone to Crater of Diamonds while here!
The formation of these crystal structures must be massively complex in time and chemistry. Hopefully that which we don’t fully understand won’t prove harmful.
As always enjoy every second of the video 📹. I got what we called in the Netherlands mountain Crystal and some other Crystal and gem stones. I even got a small diamond. Wish that the shipping was not so expensive. If it was cheaper I already buy some from the website. But I hope over 3 years I can buy one from you in person, I'm planning a trip to the USA and Canada.
Very interesting finds. There is a small deposit of clear quartz crystals at the Lucky 7 mine outside of Chilliwack. The deposit is exposed only in Sept./Oct/ due to snow pack.
about 25 years ago, was at the -other- mine in the area, on the "tailings" dig. My dig buddy and I found a huge cluster, it was about as long as a coffee table, about half as wide as one, weight was hundreds of pounds. ( In fact, it flattened a fully aired up new wheelbarrow tire so heavy.) ... of course it was vey clay ridden/muddy , so we didn't -exactly- know what we were looking at, but obviously had points all over it. Most were fist sized or bigger , and i believe the three longest were chipped or broke off at that time. We knew it somehow had -slipped- past the regular mine cultivation , and was a good find. But, the mine/crystal shop folks there, told us while it was nice, was "worthless" , offered to buy it from us for 18 dollars USD. Believe it or not, we -barely- got it in the "trunk" of my Girl friends '76 VW beetle. Took it home , and for weeks we soaked, scrubbed, picked clay out the huge cluster. When all said and done, we had three big clear points, fist sized, about 15-20 milky but equal sized, and of course the three broken points, that probably were twice as big as the others, and millions of micros composing the base. We eventually got some help, sat it on a standard coffee table, it practically covered from long end to end. Never knew its estimated -real- value. My buddy wound up keeping it as a centerpiece ( that, and it was just to heavy to realistically move around.), but he was quite a bit older than me at the time, i went off to do life , and he had passed away in my absence. I went to his place , that basically had mostly just fallen down, and of course that big cluster wasn't there, but the table still was. Someone at some point, nabbed it. I'm sure back then, it had to been worth hundreds or even thousand dollars, maybe more. I wish the shop woulda been straight up with us , offered at least half value ... it's actual worth , is one of those things, that'll forever be a mystery to me.
One of my goals in life is to travel the US and be able to dig up some crystals and mineral specimens. Right now I'm going through medical treatment, but soon I'll be able to regain my strength and hopefully go on day trips or weekend trips, and after I have my (hopeful) last procedure, I can tour the country with my husband and play in the dirt. Would it be possible for you to get a list of public dig mines that Avant Mining owns and share that with us? Thanks Dan. Take care!
Brian the crystal guys quote what unquote. Video at this mine years back and was completely taken aback by the size of the Court crystals being pulled out of this mine I am have to go on this trip and it would be the trip of a lifetime for me what is the best booking hotel etc to stay at if you have any suggestions Dan and would love your opinion on what kind of equipment and how long to stay thanks again and I will continue to watch and share your videos with all that I know I live in Montana and have a blast in this entire state finding Ruby's garnets and especially sapphires is my new favorite but have also recently gotten into a bunch of gold if you ever happen to come this way give me a holler and I can turn you in the greatest direction to a lot of fun stuff.
Well I thank u stink for offering that pocket to Pauly and then taking that. 👎 You know how he is , 🤪 he needs all the help he can get. 😆 lol. Great👍show can't wait till the next 👏 one..
Did they let u actually keep what u found? Iv called several of those mines and between the cost to dig then they approve what can and can't be kept and cost to keep some was way to high
Agreed. A Geologist might understand but to me it was just a bunch of muddy rocks. Hardly exciting.
I have a feeling a lot of those plates fell apart. The crystals where falling out everywhere
he showed you the depth of the process. you spray the water and it cleans them. u can scrub but risk damage. as for what they look like go to the link he gave you and look. pretty easy if you ask me. the increase of sales you claim. comes from people viewing their page like he set it up for. this man is very good at his job please dont tell him how to do his job.

Great show Dan, thanks.
So much fun to watch! Dan, do you ever put something in the shot to show scale on some of those plates or individual crystals! So beautiful. Cheers!

Great bit of adventure Dan! You pulled some nice crystals out of that pocket.
Even more shots of the cleaned and finished product at the end please! Plus your reaction to the cleaned up versions would be welcome too. :)
lol, even the shadow of Dan Hurd earned my subcription :)

Love you so much!!! From the Shuswap!!!❤️❤️❤️
That was one dark laugh when you were talking about pooing pauly out of crystals
Dan Hurd in the wild......surrounded by like minded rock nerds.... :P Great video!!
Would be interesting to know more about the geology. How it forms, what people look for to find such sites. Why so many in the same place?
I would love to see the whole washing process afterwards. It looks so satisfying
man it just don't get much better then that crystal treasure gems all good
Dan Hurd. The Crystal Prospector 😁👍

Loving the crystal collecting videos in Arkansas Dan.
"It's wiggalin, wiggle it Mike wiggle it!" 🤣🤣🤣
Some awesome crystals you pulled out 👌
0:33 Uncle Hurd Wants YOU! XD

Dan, thanks for showing us another totally different mining site?
Are you going to look at filing a quartz mining claim in British Columbia?
Love the triple one you pulled out.
From one blue eyed, ginger, Canadian to another, let me just say: awesome, eh. 🥳
WOW !!!
We found a corundum vein, and if your lucky you may find a sapphire, but the vein is about 10 foot down.

Reminds me of Superman's crystal home
This looks an epic trip...possibly more to different mines?
เม็ดเดียวเต็มใจแล้วสุดยอดน้ำ,,,
Some of that material looks like its made it here to the Tucson gem show. next you need to try for is emerald mining
I know you probably don't care what I think but I thought you were a gold prospector.... That's why I subscribed you.
great day after plates got some hood ones thanks sand man in florida
Well I thank u stink for offering that pocket to Pauly and then taking that. 👎 You know how he is , 🤪 he needs all the help he can get. 😆 lol. Great👍show can't wait till the next 👏 one..
Nice break from the freedom live streams 😎
I so wanna go do this.. I’m from Mississippi so it’s not to far from me.. this looks like so much fun…
Hey Dan! I live in arkansas and I was wondering if you’ve ever had any success with gold in the state? Would love any tips or advice!
I love how he says he "hopes to earn our subscription today"
What would you do with all the crystals and could you cash them in? And where would you cash them in ?
Did they let u actually keep what u found? Iv called several of those mines and between the cost to dig then they approve what can and can't be kept and cost to keep some was way to high
🇺🇸/🇨🇦 Idea! Invite them folks mining in Canada!
