Must tell you the movie is as far off the truth as truth is from falsehood. Benedict is portrayed as one too cautious and too weak and Francis as bold and vibrant. What is not shown for truth is, who is Peter, the Rock, on whom the church is built. Francis is whittling away at the foundations of the church and giving in to popular sentiments. Unfortunately a sadly misrepresentative and misleading movie. While the portrayal of Pope Francis is more or less accurate the portrayal of the brilliant theologian and gentle Pope Benedict is wildly defamatory and slanderous.
