  • The cold weather has kept us from riding but in January we finally had a break and hit the trail. We headed up the the West Nisbet Forest and checked out some of the trails and had some fun in the snow. Found a car that has likely been abandon and not accessible for decades.

    Fun ride, another good vid. Finding that car was definitely one of the highlights...it's a treat to stumble upon a piece of history like that 👍

      +badcactus72 I agree, one more of the forest's little treasures.

    New subscriber. Love your vids!! Very nice machine. I just paid off my 2015 sportsman 570 sp touring. Radar blue in color. I myself immediately put in clutch kit, lift kit, widening spacers and 28 inch Zilla’s, among sooooo many other accessories. I get compliments on the machine all the time. Always find myself when riding with others, to be the first to test or throttle threw stuff. Its funny cause most just can’t believe I go threw stuff with a passenger, that they won’t do by themselves. Keep up the great vids! Now looking at razors.. I would love to get one like yours so my machines match!!! Lol!

    You need more subscribers, you post good quality stuff. Not many video makers in Saskatchewan. Good job. -From Martensville 👌🏻

      +Samuel McKinley What type of terrain do you guys have?

    • @samuelmckinley6327

      Well sandilands speaks for itsef!! Lots of sand trails then on my uncles farm and all around there are nice forest trails, water crossings, mud then we have some gravel pits which are fun. Sandilands is a provincial park. Then in BC where I am at there is a huge trail system with deep mud to nice scenic mountain climbs, rock climbing and more! You should organize a rally out here probably lots of your fans are in the Lower Mainland of BC.

      Yeah, I was pretty cold by the end of the day. I dressed warm enough for riding while the sun was out but not when the sun set. Thanks for watching!

    Good stuff JW! Your camera angle is excellent! I think you've found the perfect spot under your helmet visor.
    We were in the south section between the rail line & the highway about a week later. Found some new trails in there. I can send you the GPS track if you want.
    The old Hudson was a cool find. I'll have to see if I can find my way in there for a look see.
    Thanx for sharin'!

    RIP Doc Hudson

      Actually Doc was one of the last Detroit built Hudson, pre- the AMC-Hudson merger. This '55 model is a badge-engineered Nash, what some Hudson purists call a Hash.

    Do you guys wear heated gear? Looks like a frosty ride without a full windshield.

    • @TrailRider
      @TrailRider  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +RT Outdoors It wasn't too bad to start with but by mid afternoon I was chilly. Heated gear would have been nice but I thought I'd have enough wind protection in the RZR. Full windshield would would have been nice.

    I just got 33 inch terminator tires for my highlifter 1000.
    And is your rzr used?

    • @TrailRider
      @TrailRider  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Doc & Evelyn Gentile Sweet, you'll love them. Yes I bought it used, I never buy new and it was treated very nicely by the previous owner. It's been a great machine and a real step up from my Commander.

      yeah I do like them and I wanted to do something different at first but thought this was going to far my grandfather rides to but he has 35-10-50 truck tires on his and i wanted to take those but after three days I got a little to wild and broke 4 axels in just 3 days. But yeah glad I got terminators, great for the mud.

    What happened with the hornet?

    • @TrailRider
      @TrailRider  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It'll likely stay there for many years to come. It is somewhat protected in that nobody really knows where it is or how to get to it

    I want a Hudson, so I would get my dad to get his tow truck and haul it to his junkyard and fix it for me
