This video is misleading. The actors and actresses did not die tragically. Don’t put misleading claims just to get viewers. Try to have morals and ethics and quit thinking of only money. You had an opportunity to make up a solid video and you squandered it.
Would have been nice to mention Zak (rik Springfield I think). Tony Schwartz who played Flight Sergeant Jolie (boomers best buddy). Maybe flight corporal rigel who was played by Sarah rush. She was air controller for galactica. Maybe Lloyd bridges commander cain? I do love these very incomplete videos. And l still love to watch this series. Amazing music as well.
I ❤ Battlestar Galactica! I would watch it religiously every Sunday night, 7 pm EST on all ABC stations. I had a crush on Captain Apollo; it grieved me to hear that Richard Hatch passed away in 2017. I liked the sound of the Cylon Centurions talking, so much so that I would record the sounds on my cassette tape player. I also recorded the sound of the Ravashol Pulsar Cannon generating an energy pulse. Loved it then, still love it now. Never watched the remake, wasn't interested. The original is always the best. Thanks for the info on the cast.
I met Richard for the first time when I was 21. I flew across the ocean to meet him in some seminar. A friend of mine from another country tagged along and though knew we were there for him and not his seminar, he used us to promote it, saying that if two young women came from across the ocean, it had to be good. So when we got there, everybody knew. But along with his girlfriend Sophie, Richard took only the two of us out for dinner, to the movies, swimming in the ocean and to Universal Studios as VIPs. The next year we stayed over at Sophie's place because of the 29 yahren reunion and I can't even count the times we went to Richard's place, or to the movies or out to dinner. One year later he came across the ocean and the rest of our group waited up for him but me and my new boyfriend had driven all day so we decided to meet Richard the next day. But when he arrived and heard from the others that I was there with my new boyfriend, he came to my hotelroom and he knocked on the door loudly and shouted: "Are you in there with another man?" It was hilarious! I could go on and on because I had a great relationship with my favorite actor from across the world, it was unbelievable. It was my dream come true. Also got so many stories I could tell about when I met the other actors, Jack Stauffer, whom I convinced to have lunch with our Squadron the day before the 20-yahren reunion. Herb, whom I tricked into taking my friend who was madly in love with him, onto his lap for pictures, and how the year after, when I met most surviving actors again with my baby daughter, wanted to hold her and also showed me pictures of his grandchildren. And just as important to me, my favorite composer Stu Phillips who gave me his blessing to use the BG theme in church at my wedding twenty years ago and with whom I'm still in touch to this day. My friends know to not get me started about BG because there are so many stories I could tell about having met the actor, about all the fan stuff I have, about my 6,192 page story I've been writing since I was 11 years old as a continuation of the original.
I loved the opening scene in The A-Team when Dirk Benedict walks past a Cylon at a comic convention and turns around to take a second look. Literally pointing out not to take him too seriously. Rick Springfield was also in these shorts, he deserves a mention, he's not dead yet either. 6:27
I had the distinct pleasure of working with Richard Hatch on a never to be released episode of Star Trek New Voyages. Mr. Hatch was a gentleman in every sense of the word, treating cast and crew with kindness and respect. When he signed my crew stage access badge he signed it not only as his STNV character, but as Captain Apollo as well. May he rest in peace.
You need to correct Maren Jensen's photo. That is not her. I saw a picture of her from an event a few years ago. She has aged well, and her hair is still dark and long. Many sites use this picture even though it is known to be someone else.😡
He does that obviously for click bait, but it is annoying because we see immediately that is not the actor or actress before we click. The lure is interesting enough for those of us grew up enjoying the work of these individuals.
Maren is alive and well and very successful in life. She has made a fortune in the cosmetic business. Forbes magazine just did an article on her incredible success with a beautiful picture of her. Maren’s hair is more curly but the same color. She looks the same and is in great shape. And she still has that billion dollar feline smile of hers.
Yep, it's all for the sake of getting that click view. That's the only reason I clicked...wanted to comment on that, but the uploader won't give a rat's ass...@@johnow7
I walked in when my kids were watching an 04 Battlestar reboot scene where Jamie Bamber and Richard Hatch were talking. I pointed at Hatch and said "that's Apollo". They pointed at Bamber and said "No that's Apollo". It got me interested in the reboot and I watched the whole thing. I thought it was really cool of Hatch to take on a different role in the reboot. BATTLESTAR GALATIC WAS awesome series and was great storyline plus it was classic in my book. I watch every time it was on. Click bait bs; Maren Jensen is alive, well and still looks pretty good for her age. That said; BSG was and still is one of my favorite TV series ever. I just watched the pilot movie for the umpteenth time a few nights ago. The characters were all great and the the show created a world that you could immerse yourself in.
Absolutely. I have been revisiting BG recently for the first time in ten years and I love it. I watched the television version of the pilot film two days ago and I find it better than the theatrical one, as there was more interplay between the characters in particular the lovely Maren Jensen as Athena sharing scenes with Dirk Benedict (Apollo) and Lorne Greene (Adama), which were edited out I guess for tightening the film’s pace for cinema audiences.

We in the Philippines had no access to it, and we are not aware that there's a series played over stations in the U.S. Now, i'm searching for a streaming service where I can watch all of the episodes (preferable free). 🤔😊
Hi ccatarinajm7714. Thanks much, but we don't have the "Peacock" (NBC?) here as well. Roku was cut after about 3 years for lack of audience subscription.
I know he's not an actor but he's just as important to me: Stu Phillips. He turned 94 in September but he wasn't well. Those were scary times for us, fans, but he has recovered now, apparently he had corona.
