The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. As a mom I always make sure my kid and his partner get their birthday cards on time. And being the smart old woman I am, I give my son a heads up before my birthday and Mother’s Day every year as I know his brain is simply not wired to value dates. It saves massively on hurt feelings. LOL!!!

story 4 gave me a flash back to the time when a friend and I did our lab together. then in the second half of the lab, they wanted to reduce the amount of groups so they just added people to pairs. we got a total misogynistic asshat as a third wheel. he didn't do jack shit for the lab but kindly enough, we provided him with the measurements we had taken and asked him to write one portion of the lab report (literally just about 20% as we did the rest). first, he didn't send anything, then he got super confrontational, told us we are women so we're just supposed to do as he says. then he ended up handing something in to us. we noticed the measurements he used had absolutely nothing to do with ours. when we confronted him he called us more pretty names, said the prof is stupid and doesn't read this anyways and then blocked us. I screenshot the whole conversation, asked the prof for a 1:1, showed him what dude had turned in to us, gave him the report we did by ourselves (yes we wrote the 20% dude was supposed to do) and asked the dude to be removed from our group. we were granted our wish and the guy was supposed to work by himself and just turned in what we had said was fraudulent. prof started a disciplinary investigation and turns out he had plagiarised couple things and was trying to plagiarise a lab report from a previous year which was quite obvious, as the instruments had a measuring error that year. the guy got expelled from uni and is barred from studying in Germany due to his exmatriculation being caused by plagiarism. I'm just glad we caught him before as this could've reflected badly on us. Us girls both have great carriers now and the guy was never seen again...

Years ago my mother had bought a house. The yard was an absolute mess because the previous owners had jobs that kept them away most of the time. So we cleaned up the yard got rid of all the dog shit that we thought was from their dogs. Turns out the guy that lived across the street trained his dog to shit in my mother's yard. Twice while I was at my mother's house I watched him let his dog out run over to the yard let it shit and then it goes back to his house. I yelled over to him to stop that he ignored me. So I grabbed a shovel and throw it in his driveway. He did it again the next day I grabbed the shovel and threw it against his garage door. After cleaning his garage door he never did it again.

However; I don’t think she should have ended the relationship over it, and I’m surprised she didn’t stick up for OP with earlier incidents/comments.
Not how it works in the UK, where OP's from. The cheque remains open for years, and the money isn't held. It means that they'd have the worry of it coming out at the wrong time and putting them in the red, getting charged for being overdrawn. That's why it took the lady 2 weeks to send it, because she was waiting till she had it, expecting it to be cashed right away. Because that the etiquette with cheques here.
Burger king never gets my orders right no matter where I go. I am allergic to lettuce and they always give me lettuce or I can't stand hot peppers and they always give me something with hot peppers.
Story #1: Judging by the fact she waited for OP to order their own food, she either #1: Didn't have any Money and decided to eat OP's food, thinking that OP was okay with it, or #2: If she annoyed OP so much, they would give her their food. Either way, what she did was wrong and OP decided to get back at her for it.
Prison fiancé daughter story: Yeah, OP's daughter is in for the rudest awakening if that guy ever gets parole. Her daughter is trifling! Clearly one of those "I can fix him" types. 😒 I can understand the ex freaking out at daughter, but he really should've kept it under wraps until the daughter was served. I hope he gets custody! Poor kids. 😔
10 oh yer I've shown my mum how to do hotel mode on her tv. Dad's deaf and keeps trying take everyone else's hearing with him. It lets you set a max volume. Really good for shared housing or places with thin walls
