    I ended up with 24.6 grams. I used two different weight rollers so I places them every other.

    I have the standard PA II variator. Should I take those little clips out to make it better?

      I would notch it if you can. I could make a video for doing that.

    where did you get the cell phone holder for the handlebars?

    • @Corn-ped
      @Corn-ped  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I got it on amazon. Its crazy how well it works. It seemed so crappy but it works so well. I like that it doesnt have an attachment, so the phone is right on he bars/mount. So its not swinging around? less to break?

    How does changing the belt make a difference. Currently have stock variator and stock belt

    • @Corn-ped
      @Corn-ped  ปีที่แล้ว

      The BX40 belt is an aftermarket belt. It was a common replacement belt a couple years ago before better ones were available. Its just a bad belt that limits acceleration and top speed. The endurance belt from Treatland is way better.

      Awesome thank you. Now is the pa50 I the same as the pa50 2. One more question. Is what exactly is the purpose of the one way bearing?

    • @Corn-ped
      @Corn-ped  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@zachmerchant9065 Pa501 and 2 are different cylinders, engine crank, engine cases, and variators. The 1 is slower but can be upgraded easily with a new crank, cylinder, variator, reed block, and a dremel.
      The one way bearing removes the need for you starter clutches. The starter clutches stay engaged above around 5mph so once they are engaged the engine will not drop the idle down. Its not a big deal but its annoying if you have a tuned bike with a high stall clutch. The clutch will only stall when you are starting from a stop. if you are cruising at 5mph and you wide open throttle it, the starter clutch will keep the engine at a low rpm and bog the engine down.

      Sorry for the misunderstanding I meant is, are the belts the same on both 1 and 2? Sorry but thanks for the great info on the one way bearing. Definitely gonna have to be the next move

      Belts are the same! One way bearing is good and all... But s pull start is the best on a hobbit.

      Why not? I love the hobbit engine/tranny/subframe. I also love the 103 frame.
