Awesome! RCScaleAirplanes and Joe Nall continues to deliver. What a gorgeous model! A great job on the camera Horst! I'm sure Marcio will be very happy to have this video as a souvenir from Joe Nall lol. A big thumbs up from the cheap seats in Canada! Cheers, Bob 😎 👊
_Thank you my friend. It's always a pleasure to read your kind comments !!!_ Unfortunately there was too much air traffic and therefore the sound of the twin turbines wasn't to hear as good as I wanted. It's different here in Europe. If a Jet is in the air, no other model will disturb it. _Cheers, Horst_ 😎👊
I hear you! I hate it when I am filming a plane when a much louder plane is also in the air and drowning out the engine sounds. In your case, it is still a great video! The "glow" from the turbines at take off was awesome. 👍
Before anyone takes this the wrong way, let me clarify: I LOVE this jet. Marcio did an amazing job and his F15e looks amazing. With that being said, it seems like every single RC F15 I've seen has a nose that is too bulky and not to scale. If you look at pictures of the real F15e, you'll see that the nose is skinnier and more streamlined. This RC model has a bulkier nose....but nonetheless, amazing plane and amazing video as usual!
_Thank you for your kind comment, which I really appreciate !_ It's strange to me that a model manufacturer doesn't keep the measurements (scale factors) of all components. It's the same work during the construction of the scratch.
Now that is an amazing bird. beautiful craftsmanship. The only thing else that I would love to see is a real and complete afterburner for those twin turbines. You have developed this bird beautifully and a twin set of burners shooting 12" flames like the full sized F-15 would top the charts.
Word up! I have seen videos on TH-cam of mini afterburners. I have been doing a lot of research and when I get my scaled 1/5 model with twin turbines, I am going to build afterburners into it. Light rings are not afterburners.
just looking at the photo for the video, it looked like a real F-15. That model is awesome. The F-15 is my favorite jet fighter. I would love to have one of those to fly. Expertly done.
LOL his flight suit looks like you cut up and used part of an Burlap Oyster sack to make it! He's going to have an heat stroke! Beautiful model though. Love the details. Awesome job!.
A most awesome F-15 my only critique is that the Strike eagle when produced was done at a date that the correct pilots helmets would have been the HGU-55 with the MBU-20/P oxygen Mask. This is a truly magnificent model!
Oh My Gosh ! ! Talk about being "Masters of (ALL) the Skies" . . . . . . Holy-Smokes ! ! ! That was So Incredible ! ! ! (Really, it was) . . . . . . Thank you for Sharing ! ! !
at LAST a beautiful scale aircraft being flown in a scale manner - so many guys throw the aircraft all over the sky in the most unrealistic way, doing all sorts of flying that the real aircraft could not do. This is the best video I have ever seen of a scale jet, and a lot of that has to do with the realism of the flight. Why spend all that money on realism and then fly it like a toy? Anybody watching a video of this would be surprised to find out it's a model. Magic flying skills too! 10/10 Marcio.....
The 2 wing root lights to which you refer as being incorrect are in fact, anti collision lights and they are indeed BOTH RED. They are not nav or position lights. The modeller is correct and they are not backwards. You may be referring to the position lights which are on the wingtips and vert, but those are correct as well.
1:25 it taxied very gracefully thanks to its size and suspension, and it doesn't behave like other smaller RC jets especially on grass fields that bounce relentlessly.
Woah... I just found out that Seymour Johnson still has F-15s !! Besides 2 stealths that rarely came out of the hangar, those were what I'd see flying during my 4 years at Langley AFB in VA.
Sebastian Tomczyk _I've no idea about the fuel capacity and flight duration. Regarding the additional fuel tanks, I believe that they could be used as well. The only reason of not using them is the weight factor._
That is amazing. Compares to the Dayton Air show F-15 I just saw a couple weeks ago. Detail is incredible. What is the top speed for an RC jet like that?
Beautiful aircraft, great scale flying very nice love the lights and the paint job the scale looks awesome. How long have you flowed Rc and when did you start flying jets. I have 50 Plane but I do not own a jet yet planning in the future to get a jet aRc jst want to make the right choice for my first jet looking at an A-10 large-scale maybe.
Wow! What an exceptional model and video. What fuel are you burning in those turbines? How much fuel can you carry? How much flying time do you get with topped off tanks? What's the fuel flow rate? Would love to compare against others I'm considering buying/building.
Wow - first to the feast perhaps! :-) That is so loaded with detail - superb. There must be nearly $10,000 US into that. Awesome is the word for sure. Beautiful slow roll. Despite the small hop -thankfully a safe landing. Lovely footage Horst.
_LOOOOL_ ... perhaps ;) Yes. It's very detailed and finished. The $10k you've mentioned will not be enough to buy the half of that plane. O.K. The landing wasn't the best Marcio did over these days at Nall, but it was very windy with different speed. _I'm glad you liked the video, Chris !!!_
$10k not enough!! Holy smokes! I was being very conservative in my estimate. Getting out of touch these days. Thought my 1/4 scale Ryan STA some time back was costly at $1k :-)
ChrisB257 there was a article in one of the rc magazines (pretty sure it was MAN) a while back and he had $70,000 into his believe it or not. Think it was a F100 Super Sabre
RCScaleAirplanes Wouldn’t that be nice- I have to shrink myself 5 times to fit in a Corolla- But I’d much rather have one of these! I’m going to stop eating...
Great plane and piloting. Amazing detail. To bad that loud gas prop job interfered with this video. The sound of the jet was very realistic. But as I mentioned, the noisy gas prop job ruined this.
James Wieser _Thank you for your kind comments, James. Much appreciated!_ I fully agree about the noisy gas powered plane, but this is Joe Nall. There are many different types of models flying at the same time. Very sad.
I have a question to anyone who can answer. I watch a lot of these rc videos and I don't ever recall seeing an rc turbine with a real afterburner. Is this currently not possible? It seems like an ez enough thing to make but Im guessing im wrong.
I'm in love with RC world, guys I have real interest about RC helicopter and airplanes, is it hard to flight it? Since if I did any mistake it's gonna cost a lot.

Looks and sounds AMAZING! My dad (RIP) would have loved to see how far RC planes have come 30 years since he passed away.
Man, this a REAL model, NOTHING left off the DETAILS, thanks for the 'flight' , this is AWSOME !!!!
Great video! One of the nicest F-15's I have seen and flown beautifully by Marcio. Thanks for posting!

Fantastic!!!
And those details of the cockpit interior, and the canopy...Awesome!!
Kudos to you.
Incredible model, Horst! The level of detail is amazing, and it also flies as good as it looks!! Cheers, Dougal
Beautifully put together and flown. Loved every bit of it. Enough to make me leave a comment for the first time ever.....

Wow, the detail on that Eagle is awesome!
That is one beautiful plane flown perfectly in a scale manor. Thank you.
Sr. Jorge esto era increíble, muchas gracias !
Beautiful place! I really like the brake lights on it! :)
Haha! Try shooting it out of a shotgun! Would make a "interesting" video!
_That's America !!!_ Brake lights ... *LOOOOL*
f-15 slug, supersonic results lmao
My very good friend, Marcio Jorge! Miss flying with you, buddy! Also a fantastic F3A pilot!
Excellent detail right down to the turkey feathers! Yosemite Sam for nose art! NICE! You're getting all the good ones Horst, nice work.
Best detail i have ever seen.
Not sure i would be brave enough to fly at the same time as this gem.
So much details, indeed this airplane deserves video for itself as someone mentioned. Awesome video .
just looking at the photo for the video, it looked like a real F-15. That model is awesome. The F-15 is my favorite jet fighter. I would love to have one of those to fly. Expertly done.
Awesome video enjoyed every minute at joe nall this year to bad I didn’t get to meet you. That plane was truly amazing in person.
Wow. Just wow. My first reaction was to give the video a thumbs up. THEN I went ahead and watched it. That model looks exactly like a real F-15.
Best RC F-15 I've ever seen. BEAUTIFUL
The F-15 is my favorite fighter. Over 40 years old now and arguably still the best fighter in the world.
Saw F-15Es every day when I was in the desert, this looks, and is flown like the real deal. Amazing plane.
My #1 favorite jet!
Nice flying
That's really cool. I worked on that jet many times at the 336th AMU.
That little prop plane buzzing around the background was very annoying and distracting to this cool video...the F15 should have shot it down.
letsride He took-off to go engage him.
Totally agree
Awesome RC Eagle. And I like the Yosemite Sam nose art hehe.
LOL his flight suit looks like you cut up and used part of an Burlap Oyster sack to make it! He's going to have an heat stroke! Beautiful model though. Love the details. Awesome job!.
You got that right!
Great plane, very detailed, great flying. What do you want more?
Großartige Maschine, sehr schön vorgeführt und wunderbar eingefangen. Danke!
_Danke für dein Lob !!!_
Probably my favourite fighter plane. Yours is one of the few that it´s good detailed. Aspect not always taken into account in RC Planes.
A most awesome F-15 my only critique is that the Strike eagle when produced was done at a date that the correct pilots helmets would have been the HGU-55 with the MBU-20/P oxygen Mask. This is a truly magnificent model!
Very nice Model and Video, thumb up.
thats a very sturdy jet - waow great humble flight ! Many many many more flights will crown your effort.
One of the most beautiful models of a modern aircraft I've ever seen! Oh to have money... The things one might do :)
Holy cats! That's the greatest build I ever seen!
_Thank you for the compliments !_
Was für eine wundervolle Maschine. LG aus Österreich
So cool, love the afterburners on take off. The other plane in the video annoying buzz wanted to hear the jet.
It looks so real. Even when its rolling on the ground, when it hits bumps and ruts. The way the plane reacts looks like the real thing!!

Definitely the pinicle of the hobby.
actually thought it was a real one from the title image. brilliant model!
wonder what air brake was not on during landing.. anyway, looks like the gear is strong! What a nice model!

Cool detailed plane, awesome fly overs . 👍
Red / Green nav lights in wing roots are backwards. Green is starboard, red is port (left).

coolest thing I''ve seen in months
That plane flies rock solid. I can’t help but wonder if it has a gyro in it.
Thanks. Most jet models have a gyro installed. This helps the model to fly more beautifully and to keep it stable when landing.
Awesome job Horst!!!

F-15 top! Pude conferir de perto! O Márcio pilota muito também! Big hug from Brazil!
O Marcio me emprestou o aero dele na única prova de F3A que participei em Atlanta. Ele terminou em 1° como de costume, e eu em 4°.

Hi, what is the flight duration and fuel tank capacity? Also it is possible to use as tank those 2 white under the wing?

im not kidding that is probably the MOST scale airplane I've EVER seen! its ssoooo cool,

Wow, dass ist ja Modellbau und fliegerisches Können vom feinsten, da gehen die Daumen aber sowas von steil nach oben Klasse.

OMG a work of art
how many hours on that build? amazing
SJ seymour johnson afb is 20 miles from me those f15 strike eagles flyovers look 100% same flight pattern and all

Beautiful jet!!
mark r pa as always beyond superb
How much would he sell one of these for?
Wow really nice flying scale model no vertical climbing not enough thrust? The F-15 is known for it's vertical performance.
