Today I am 61 years old. It is the first time someone has had the guts to tell the world the truth about what happens in marriages. You my friends don't know how really in love I was and what you are saying I lived and felt, Once upon a time.
What a beautiful testimony. The Bible teaches that "godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content." (1 Timothy 6:6-8). Looks like y'all are on the right track. God bless. - Arlene

I know this is an old video, but my husband is a worship leader and I am working part time, so I have found solace in your videos. We relate to you. I just wanted to say thank you for sharing this journey. I am very much a people pleaser which has held me back - a lot. Until one day my pastor told me something. He said “being a people pleaser is kind of selfish when you think about it. You are so worried about protecting your own feelings of insecurity, by maybe telling someone no, that ultimately you damage your own feelings instead.” Makes sense to me - he didn’t say that word for word, but in a nutshell. I hope that makes sense. Keep making great videos! God bless!

We don’t have a TV either. We have a combined living/dining/office so we have our computer as a TV so to speak but we don’t use it as often as a TV. We are intentional with our time and what we watch so we use it for family movie night, or for 20 minutes of cartoons and for my study. I watch TH-cam or read books mostly.
I just found your channel and I love your content, the way you add clips of things throughout the video (I get bored with videos that are just a person sitting there talking-I want to see progress), and the sweetness between the two of you. I’ll be binge watching.

Ugh you guys are GReat ! Im also on a minimalism journey because we have young kids too and it just helps so much. I do a toy rotation too and its been a gamechanger. Now i dedicate a day a week to decluttering , and I’ll usually spend an hour on that.
Wow your story is Soo sooo inspiring. I feel like taking up the challenge. My husband and I need a change in our lifestyle with the tv part. We are minimalists but I feel like we need more activity in our life other than video games or movies or shows. I always want to play a board game or do something with him and we rarely do that. I think I want to cancel all of my subscriptions and just put the tv away for a bit and also save money on our bills like that for a while. I am going to talk to him about it and see what he thinks. I think it's a distraction to our dreams right now.

We did this together and though we brought back some of this in our lives, we definitely needed to get them out of the picture for a while so we could remember the reason why we were together. we started to go to places like the beach, parks, or planned trips, sometimes with the kids and others just us two. I hope that helps
