The LINEAR 5 LTS A brings true long-range characteristics to an ultra-compact package. For the user, this means fewer speaker components are required, saving valuable space on the truck. It also makes rigging and stacking on the ground much easier and faster. This makes the LINEAR 5 LTS A Long-Throw System not only the simplest, but also the most economical solution to achieve the best sound results for events of up to 3,000 people.
Whether it's 30, 40 or 50 meters, the LINEAR 5 LTS A projects even sophisticated high-frequency signals down to the last row. This is possible thanks to the innovative Multicell Transformer (MCT), a completely new technology developed by HK Audio. This development achieves a drastic reduction in distortion in the high frequency range. This solves a key problem posed by earlier waveguide and horn designs: limiting usable sound pressure due to distortion. The LINEAR 5 LTS A is capable of generating an exceptionally high maximum sound pressure level of 138 dB. Multicell Transformer technology makes it possible to design especially compact loudspeaker systems with exceptional handling characteristics.
