Cold and brutally windy day of arrowheads and artifacts turns out to be another mega load! Started off slow but turned out hot!

have you considered digging straight down another 8-12 feet? Base clay can be from a layer post paleo that makes it seem as if there isn't any more layers.. Some areas in Texas are this way in archeological digs.. there might be mid to early archaic points down to 2 feet then clay then after a few more feet down the points start showing up again. Where it looks like you are in an open field there may have been a small creek there 12k years ago.. It can be decieving
