      Sirin's Crochet 🧶 Thank You 😊! I am a self taught crocheter and your video helped me to understand some things that I didn’t understand about crocheting and nobody would show me. I made some beautiful things but will say that they are not exactly the stitches you showed here. About 20 years ago I placed 13th in a doll decorating contest with what I did on my own. I really appreciate your help.

    I just used your helpful instructions to make this baby blanket. I love how it turned out! My biggest struggle was keeping the HDC stitches (the puffy stitch) consistent in every row. Yours are lined up so neatly and mine are diagonal or sometimes lined up (it still turned out awesome though!). Other than that, this has been one of my favorite designs, so easy! Thanks for the great idea and video.

  • @3Pazza
    @3Pazza 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Beautiful pattern, thank you very much. I find it very difficult to get into the last stitch, which is a slip stitch. So I start the rows with a single crochet instead of a slip stitch. Then my last stitch always is a single crochet which is much easier to get into. ❤

    Sirin, thank you so much for your beautiful blanket and the time you take to share in teaching us. Please can you tell me what yarn you are using. All of your yarn seems so soft and much nicer than the regular acrylic. Please always tell me which yarn you use. I will try to get it. It looks beautiful and soft for the baby. I am in London, England can I purchase the yarn in London? Please let me know. Thank you so much. Blessings.

    I love the look of this blanket! I’ll have my first grand baby in the next month and I’m making this for her. I hope it turns out ok as I can’t find a 7mm hook during quarantine. I have a 6.5 mm so I’ll add stitches to reach the 31” across. Thanks so much for the free pattern! You are easy to follow and you’re fur babies are lovely!

      HI BRIDGET, I AGREE WITH ROSEANNE 😊💝. I THINK IT WOULD BEAUTIFUL IN WHITE & PERFECT FOR A CHRISTENING BABY BLANKET 🙏✝💝! ALMOST 38 YRS AGO, I WORKED FOR A FAMILY WHO OWNED "WEINER'S CLOTHING" & THEY CARRIED THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CHRISTENING OUTFITS & BLANKETS THAT I HAD EVER SEEN. SADLY, IT BURNED DOWN YEAR'S AGO 😢💔. THIS PATTERN IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL & I THINK IT'S PERFECT FOR A BABY GIRL OR BOY 💝💙.

    Tried with bernat size 4 blanket yarn. Never got the 3 d effect. It was also difficult to count. The blanket was turning into an odd shape due to counting difficulty. This vedio doesn't cover how to count the stiches after each row.

    • @summerrayne42
      @summerrayne42 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      I think it all depends on how many chains you are starting out with. She informed at the beginning of the video, that any odd number of chains will work. So, for an example, if you make a chain of 81 like she did, then you will always have a row count of 80, because you are skipping the first chain (which is chain 81) and going into the second chain which will make your row count 80. I hope this helps you. 😄! Also, if this helps you too, you should have 40 slip stitches and 40 half double crochets. You will always end with a half double crochet and start with a slip stitch 😊.

      Bernat blanket yarn is better for simple stitches as it’s chenille and doesn’t complement textured stitches such as this
