I don’t know what it is that he does, maybe is the fact that some of his chords have a little bit of dissonance in it which makes it ring through the air, but it’s so much different from any piano piece I’ve ever heard. I play piano but I wish I could play it the same way he can. I try to mimic what he does but my power level is too low compared to his. Listening to him play piano makes me feel like I’m going back in time and my memories are passing me by and i re experience every single emotion that went through me on that given day. No one will see this comment but my friend isn’t picking up the phone for me to discuss this with him so this is my way of compensating

I used to watch this video every day, when I came home from school freshman year and I wanted to be just like him. I taught myself and now can play, have made music and will to college for tech and production. I want to have the professional knowledge of tech and production as well as the knowledge I’ve built myself over the years of high school to maybe one day meet greats like himself. He’s been such an inspiration and these videos were a big part of that. Either that or I’m gonna be a crappy producer never makin it anywhere😄 prolly the latter.
