@@LalisasToxicHusband my grandma from california brought a demo cd of hum i think 1996, i thinknits popularity started at 1997 or1998 and from its own sounds i think its almost like advance sounds of the 2000's,
So cool you guys covered this. I was a freshman in college when this song came out and I used to blare it from my car stereo. This is deep track 1995 stuff. Awesome to see guys your age digging my generation's music. Love it!
Whoa, y’all kicked this song’s ass! Hum are one of my favorite 90s bands. The trippy delay effects leading into the guitar solo were a nice touch too 🎸
You guys crushed it. Nice! Your bass player is a savage! You're all savages! I'm loving the way the drummer threw some of his own stuff in. R.I.P. Bryan St. Pere 🤘🏻🥁
Sick. As a GenXer, I'm so glad to see some young kids playing real, raw music from one of the best rock eras of all time. Now you just need to cover "Possum Kingdom" by Toadies. 🙂
Also, ima subscribe just to see if you, mr. bass, take any constructive criticism. I know this video is a little old, but I see from the comments that I'm not alone in my opinion. Prepare to be deep dived by some rando on the interwebs. Seriously, you guys are tight.
Bro, you guys are good. You're definitely tight and know what's up. I'm saying this out of love, and as a bass dude myself, the bass tone doesn't work for this piece. It might sound better in the room than on film, and it would prolly sound better for say, a Rage song, but this ain't it. You're definitely good at bass, but bro, it's your job as a bass player to facilitate and compliment. Unless you're playing some Primus, or Level42, just try to fit the song. Otherwise, you guys are great. Keep rocking, boys.
Jesus... get your damn bass player under control fellas. He can't be allowed to roam free like that. What do you think this is? PRIMUS? Kidding aside, tight cover!
I am happy knowin there still some guys playin this song, i was playing that song when i was 17 now i am 41, greetings from phillipines
lol why is this song so popular in the Philippines? just curious. I've seen like a bunch of different covers on youtube all from filipino bands?

@@LalisasToxicHusband it's popular here in 90's
I’m 45, and same dude. 30 years ago this song kicked ass, and it does as much today. It’s FANTASTIC knowing this generation has some taste
Actually shitting my balls at the pure astounding beauty of Zach’s singing
He won’t believe it.

I love Hum and my hat is off to you gentlemen. It's mostly spot on with your own take. I'm quite impressed. Cheers fellas.
Great job
Dig the energy. Drummer really brings it.
Love it! Really captures the 1995 energy of 17yo me headbanging to this in my VW blasting from my Jensen head unit in the high school parking lot
Bass tone goes crazy
Wish that band would have gone further. Thanks for keeping it alive. You sound awesome nailed it!
Their new album is incredible, well not so new but their latest I should say.

bassist on the loose
Very cool. Diffuse? Boy with Stick? Sundress would be amazing to hear live. Do it, become a hum cover band, ha.

play blur song - charmless man
Or maybe the Drive -by Truckers
Vocals need compression, but actually pretty decent.
Sounds like a speaker is blown, or the reverb is needing adjustment. Nice work, but sound quality is lacking.
First guitar is out of tune on the sixth string.
Nice cover
