Divya bharti entered film industry not on her own free will but by the insistence of her mother,, her mother had this filmon ka craze, that's the reason,, her father was very simple person and in her 6 to 12 yrs of age she lived in union park---pali hill area,, I know this b'coz divya &our friends use to play together in evenings as we use to live just 2 building away,, then I think she migrated to versova,,, I don't know about how the world misses her as an actress,, but i have lost an old friend of mine who's very mention brings tears 💧down my eyes even today as it was 28yrs ago😢she was very simple jolly and down to earth person.. I will miss her till the end of my life...
Can’t believe she is not among us… I still remember being depressed and miserable after her death as if she was a family member… still get goosebumps whenever she is mentioned in front of me… there was something about Divya that people still cant get over her… RIP gone tooooo soon 😢

Very few people knows that Divya was the first choice for Yash Chopra's Darr but on the forceful insistence of Aamir Khan she was replaced by Juhi Chawla but Yash Chopra promised to cast her on DDLJ as the role of Simran was written by keeping her in mind. Something else was written in the destiny so she passed away.

Her charismatic face and bubbly cute actions can never be forgotten.
It was very shocking when we got to know she fell from her balcony and died .
We were not able to sync the news ...and even after 30 years I still wonder 🤔 ..was it an accidental death or pre-planned murder .

Tears comes in my eyes, when I saw this video. Rahoul Sir you did marvelous job. Nodoubt ! Divya Bharti is still in my heart, I was in Class 9 and was huge crush on her. On her death, for a week i was weeping and didn't eat any food, on the night when I and my family heard this news, we all family members in Karachi Pakistan was weeping and crying like we lost our close relatives. For many years, I couldn't listen any of her song because, whenever I listen, I start crying. She was a proven artist in just a span of 2 years in bollywood, imagine, if she live today, then how much succeeded she would.

I watched her movie Shola aur Shabnam in the theatre Maratha Mandir in Mumbai.
She was killed. Her death was not natural. So sad that she is not alive.

Sadly murder declared as accidental death ques is why her guest won’t prevent her sitting on window how guest reached down words quickly as they were drunk according to there statement main ques how her maid dies suddenly ? ( ans is similar way recently Dr rizwan Fia officer dies in similar way who was investigating corruption case against Shabaz shariff then manzoor faloday wala main witness dies similarly in dubai and now investigating police officer investigating attacks on i khan ) due to slow poisoning same used against Diviyas maid thats main point of concern that it was murder no proper investigation done unfortunately hope justice will prevail soon

"Tujhe Na Dekhon to Chain Mujhay Aata Nahin Hai" a great song composed by my favorite Nadeem-Shravan and sung by my favorite Kumar Sanu, Alka. This song was picturized almost a week before the death of Divya Bharti and I think it was the last song picturized on Divya Bharti.
Nadeem-Shravan always composed superb music for Divya Bharti (DEEWANA, DIL KA KYA KASOOR and RANG).

Remember the time she passed away. Even though there was only Doordarshan in those days, that event was given prime coverage in the News. DD even telecast an interview of her parents post her death. Her father was crying inconsolably while her mother was comforting him. The songs picturised on her were the ones which were most popular. Eg Saat Samundar Paar and Aisi Deewangi. Om Shanti

As other have stated, she would have been sooo successful had she not passed. She had already replaced Sri Devi given their similar looks and her youth. Also given that Shola aur Shabnam was such a huge hit, she would likely have made all those comedy blockbusters alongside govinda that ended up starring Karisma. She had soo much potential. May she rest in peace.
I m die hard fan of Divya Bharti till now.. i remember when my father told me that Divya Bharti is no more and i cried. I was 5 yrs old and my father listened this news on Doordarshan Prime time at 8:30 pm. I always miss her absence in film industry and if she was alive then she would have number 1 actress for decades...
I used to collect all her post cards during 90s. We were from a small country Bhutan but i was grown up watching hindi movies and that's where I saw her when I was in fourth standard.
Heard her tragic demise made me sick for days and I remember crying looking at all her post card photos on my wall.
Still I watch her all the old movies repeatedly and check in TH-cam's about her although running in my mid age.
If she is alive she would be few years older than me.
Great human and god gifted beauty and talents. There is no one like her and no one would be ever.
In such a young age achieved so much that also within short time which the present stars or star kids would never even dare to do. It's a world record to make so many films in few yrs.
