I'll be working with a 1983 CB650SC and know I will have to deal with the carbs, bike has sat outside for a few years! I also know you need JIS screwdrivers!

I put a rebuild kit in an 82 nighthawk 650. Almost every time i got to hook up the carbs and turn on the gas it dumps it out of the back of the carbs. I have tested the floats, no holes, move freely and fine cleaned everything. I almost had it going once but eventually went back to flooding out the back again. If you have any insight on this that would be phenomenal

Is there fuel inside the airbox near the carbs? Look deep inside there...

If you see fuel inside the airbox near the carbs, you need to remove the carbs and remove the float valves and clean inside each hole. We had the same issue with this bike (after doing a carb rebuild.) We cleaned out all of the float valve holes, problem solved.

@@HorsepowerHouse I did that very thoroughly but it seems it wasn't enough. I have to look it over again

If there is fuel inside the airbox as stated, that is the problem. @@c0lterg3istl74

And I assume you replaced the O-rings on the hard fuel lines in between each carb? That is also a location of leaks. @@c0lterg3istl74
