Calculate the quantity of earth work in an irrigation channel whose L-section and typical cross-section are given in fig. 1. The bed width of the channel is 5m and top widths of banks are 3m for the left and 1.5m for the right bank. Sind slopes of excavation are 1:1 and of bank is 1.5:1. Height of bank from bed is 2.55m throughout. The longitudinal slope of the bed of the channel is 1 in 5000. Can you do this for me sir

Rl of proposed bed level at RD-369.84 is coming 97.42m similarly RL of top bank is coming 99.97m ? Why you have left the column blank in this ? Plase explain.
At this point the depth of cutting is zero.
The difference between the R.L of the bed & the R.l of the bank is 2.55 which I have taken
