      Haan Kyu nahi ...yaha pe aapko level dekhna hai kisi bhi chez ka you can use Level...in order to know how must depth you have to excavate

    Suppose we are doing parctical and I want to know that if FL of any point is not given how do we find it?
    And also Gradient? If gradient is not given also.
    It is find for entire length or gradient is different for every interval?

      Then at site you first need to do Levelling in order to find the Ground Level (i.e Existing Level of Ground ). After you get the Ground level .Plot a Longitudinal Section which will show you the gradient of existing ground, it may be rising grade or down grade . And then decide what grade is suitable if order to have less cutting or filling, or ur grade must not exceed the limit of exceptional gradient, you have to keep geometry of road in view and many other factors. And when you decide the Gradient then plot line parallel to the existing ground level, the new L-section line will give you the Formation Level. When u get FL and GL then u can easily calculate Cutting and Filling at every interval

      If you have to know the Falling Gradient or Rising Gradient of any road ..first you need to take levels along the road at every chainage to draw the L-Section of the existing ground level of the road ...now you have to mark the grade as per the slope in L-section which may be Up grade or down grade ..but keep in mind that you have to mark gradient in order to have minimum cutting and filling to improve the geometrics of road and u also have to keep in mind that ur grade should also be too steep (i.e7% but in some portions we allow exceptional gradient for certain length where it is unavoidable to restrict the grade) ...so when u plot these down grade up grade or down grade in order to improve geometrics ..u will get ur Rising or falling gradient and with reference of this u can know ur formation levels direct from L-section

      Ye toh sab iss video main bataya hai. ...if u have width of road as 10 m and length of one chainage is 30m ...baki height u have to calculate but for that u need to take Reading with autolevel at every chainage

      RL of formation woh level hai Jo road bananey ke baad road ka level hoga ... And u have to find it as per gradient of road upgrade or downgrade ..Road bananey se pehle Jo level hota hai that is RL ofground level which have undulations in it ...so humey road geometrics ko improve Karen ke liye we have to find RL of formation jis level people hamara road construct hoga

      Yeah for that u can use Grid Levelling Method ...in which u need to divide into grid i.e small squares whose size vary from 5×5m to 25×25m depending on nature of terrain.

      If you are a student then Ground Level will already be given in your Question ..if you are an Engineer and have to take ground level then simply you need to take Level at each chainage(i.e RD) by using Auto Level ..then rest of the procedure is mentioned in the video .

      Yeah when u have Cutting and Filling in the same chainage then u need to calculate, how long you have Cutting and how long u have filling in that particular chainage. If u have cutting or filling throughout the length of chainsaw then u don't need to plot graph , then u can directly calculate

      I had explained everything ..do watch video again ...from chainage 1 to 150 falling gradient is 1 in 200 which is equal to 0.15 for one chainage...u have to subtract 0.15 from last formation level as it is metioned that it is in Falling Gradient . Watch video again then u will get my point ..everything is explained in video

I am reading every value in that video, listen to audio carefully i hope you will not get confused. And try to solve the same numerical along with me while playing video for better understanding.
