His gender identity should have nothing to do with it. Personally, to me- I don't think it matters what his gender is. I love Genzuki as he is. Not everyone is genderblind, but loving Genzuki isn't just loving him cause he's female/male/nb/etc. In that sense, I love the way that Genzuki is so open about this kind of topic. He can be effeminate in different ways, and still masculine in other ways. Genzuki is Genzuki and that's all that matters, y'know?

But he has the talent of acting as a woman, being how he's fictional he labels himself as such because it's also still up to the viewer to interpret on what his gender is, like Ryushen though Genzuki isn't ambiguous like Ryushen since as I'ved said he is a guy. Idk where you found in the wiki that his gender is unknown since I also checked it and it says it's male.

Genzuki is Genzuki! Both Ryushen and Gen uses "Boku" as "I" to refer to theirselves. Boku is the first-person term used by tom-boyish girls and not-so-manly guys... so it's mostly a genderless term. VΔLZ is supposed to be an all-guy group, so yes, Genzuki does speak from a guy's POV sometimes. But specifically when it comes to gender, Genzuki always answer Genzuki is Genzuki.
