things im not buying anymore the icon 10 piece deep sockets Pittsburgh hex socket set thermometer gun ratcheting straps 1/4 drive 20-200inch pound torque wrench 6 bit impact screwdriver set
okay update im gonna get the PITTSBURGH PRO 3/8 in. Drive Metric High Visibility Deep Socket, 10-Piece over the icon ones I mentioned In the video and the PITTSBURGH 3/8 in. Drive Metric Hex Socket Set, 6 Piece over the other hex set I said. brings my Total down by $20. I forgot that they have other sets not including the icon sets lmao, I almost got carried away with the discounts that I almost bought stuff I normally wouldn't have bought. so be aware about that lmao, and I just mean I woulda got the Pittsburgh tools not icon normally but because of the discount I would have spent $27 (45 normal price) over 12.99 just because I thought I was "saving money"
It's that time of the year, trying to think what stuff I don't really NEED that I want to get from harbor freight and Lowes, and see if I have anything left for gifts lol. Not 100% sure if it's nationwide but I think dollar general will be doing 15% off $50 Lowes gift cards, if they are doing it at my local DG I am gonna pick up a bit set that's already on sale, worth looking into it if you need some stuff, I'm sure you could go to multiple dollar generals or get in line again to get as many as you need. Going to grab a set of ICON shallow/normal impact sockets at least, been using a cheap deep set for everything for years, and that deal is hard to pass up on. Of course gloves, 89 cent part holders, the mini toolbox, all small stuff at 10 years ago prices will also make there way into my hands or cart. No hyper tough fan but look forward to seeing that review
I actually am going to stop by a dollar store by harbor freight after my Black Friday run, but I dont plan on buying anything at Lowes, so I feel like buying that gift card would lock me in to buy stuff, and to be honest you might save some money with the 15% off, but I feel like stuff at Lowes is overpriced, so if you lock yourself to shop there you lowkey aren't saving that much. but depends on your shopping styles and what you need, but for me I dont see myself buying it. I am a little upset that the Pittsburgh creeper is $20 because I spent 35 on the hyper tough one just a month ago, but I already assembled it and recycled the box, I have the receipt but im not gonna go through all the trouble and I dont feel like returning a used product when ive already got rid of the box. but so far ive only used it twice, its been good feels pretty solid quality and im 150 lbs so no issues with that, but only other issue is not with the hyper tough but in general, sometimes being on wheels doesn't let you get leverage or force when your working under the car, especially if you need more force, but overall I like it. the mini toolbox im excited about it looks cool, I already got 2 packs of 150 gloves (blue ones) from Costco for 9.99 each so I dont need more for a while, the parts holder is a good buy but I dont see myself really using it, I kinda get annoyed at magnets lmaoo, but I would also pick up the funnels for 98 cents just to have. also Ive been using hyper tough tools, I dont have an issue with them for home/diy purposes
at the dollar store Im gonna look for some cheap measuring cups for oil and coolant or other fluids and turkey basters if they have any to extract liquid out of a coolant overflow reservoir or brake fluid
@@sriavulayt Oh yessir all valid points, I imagine there is not a big difference in quality between the two creepers, Wish the ICON ones were on sale would be tempted to see if those save my back any. I have some old hyper tough laying around and have a shop light I think is hyper tough, no complaints either. But if you can be patient enough for sales HF usually has better prices, sometimes you pay a little extra to not have to wait for the handful of good sales a year though.
@@Olliinn yea Im still new to this stuff ahah, but yea id assume quality is very similar, but on sale the Pittsburgh is way better value, also I saw this costco tool table for $109, gonna make a short on it, im not buying it, it doesn't have that many drawers but it still looks pretty cool, gonna spend like 140 at harbor freight Friday if they have everything in stock, so hopefully I dont see any more price drops and cry after later in the year lol
