    Drilling a hole in your bench pin & putting the earring post through is a great way to set stud bezels! Great video.

    Wait, what is that you were working on? A tree trunk? And what do you solder on? A mesh plate?

      Hi Ellen! I do have a tree trunk which I use for my stamp work and things like hallmarks and general hammering. The soldering and sawing takes place at my jewelers bench. If I remember correctly I used a steel mesh square to solder in this video. Now, I most often use a third hand to grip the excess silver for the base and heat from underneath. The steel mesh square tended to absorb too much of the heat when I was trying to get the solder to flow
