My great grandma would get me a Hess truck ever Christmas. Miss those days I had like 10 of them

This is a great HESS truck to have, the biplane is definitely an added plus! Not to mention that the tractor unit's classic styling makes this one a winner for sure! The styling appears to be based on trucks from the '40s-'50s. BTW, the "nubs" behind the cab are probably some sort of protection devices for the exhaust system.

You can take take the good inner parts from the old one and replace bad inner parts to the new one

I opened the battery compartment on my 2002 but it did not exploded so im happy I got it on the 26th of dec in 2018 so yay.

You can clean the battery connections with vinegar and baking soda

Use metal polish to clean the contacts.

I have about 50 Hess trucks in my collection not including my minis and all of this year have turned yellow even ones left in an ac room in a box turned..any idea what causes that?

I have about 20 or so Hess trucks for sale, I’m asking 800$ for them plus two rare trucks the trucks aren’t Hess but they’re pretty cool, I also have a Sunoco aireal tower fire truck which is worth 500$ which is also for sale just apart from the Hess trucks so if you want any just comment and I will email you I get it is a lot of money but they are pretty rare I’m asking 1,300$ for all of them together, I am also going to donating all the income of it to MS research which my uncle died from, the trucks are all his so it is also going to a good cause
