Loved to watch it! As a Brazilian, I've known Rafinha's work probably before anyone realized he existed. There's a lot more into the guy, such as he had a parody video website WAY before TH-cam, and stuff he did there started being done by the first TH-camrs and becoming #1 hits many years after it. He really does have a great mind for comedy and for relating to people, he's also a pretty great interviewer. I had the luck of watching his stand-up live and it was crazy*, because you think you know what to expect after watching him on TV or the internet for a few hours, but live is just something else. The energy is overwhelming at times, and the whole 3.000+ crowd just having a good time with him being the "vibe maestro" is epic - to me, that's the sign of a master comedian. He's also an incredibly nice guy just like he was in the podcast - I had the chance to talk with him in person for a minute or two. Only problem for him, unfortunately, is that in Brazil he can easily come off as an asshole completely accidentally. That's probably due to him using sarcasm and irony all the time and being used to it, but any missed tone or timing with that can easily put off a bad image. That, paired with the few blunders and a highly PC and censorship-culture country was bound to cause problems and nearly be his complete downfall. I really thank everyone involved in this production, and everyone that watches it. * He does say "that's crazy" a lot, even in Portuguese, haha
Yeaaah, Rafinha is one of the “fathers” of the new humor in Brazil. He is on the internet since she began, and is one of the first ones to do Stand Up comedy here. It’s kinda sad that he have many haters here, but he’s for sure a great person (literally, lmao)

Do not support this guy on comedy clubs. I am brazilian and I would not have a problem with this guy simply doing his job or whatever. Hey, do you know who deletes comments? Mr Bolsonaro. Try to question his metods in any of his social media pages. Your comment will be deleted. And for the gringos, there's a whole scheme of fake news and online defamation chasing anyone that criticize Bolsonaro. Not so different from socialism, right? Now, a fun fact. Olavo de Carvalho, the guru of Bolsonaro and one of the heads of the ideology of this government lives in US. That's right, in Virginia. So seems that the problem here isn't about living in US and make comments about Brazil right? I know! Was about ready to comment on practically the same thing. Hilarious! Crazy how in America that would just be a totally normal comedic response and no one would ever think twice of it escalating into anything at all.
Great conversation! Really interesting to hear this unique adoption of American culture outside the US and then see it reflected back with a Brazilian flavor. Its also a great way of discussing the 1st amendment and the chilling effects on speech that we need to be vigilant in guarding against here. I plan on sharing this with my millennial age daughter to further our on going discussion of free speech vs hate speech. Its also nice to hear a non American speaking positively about what have here in the US. Its a nice break from the usual chorus of MSM leftist types constant shitting on the US and painting us all as the evil imperialist patriarchy guilty of exploiting the rest of the world . Im definitely going to check out this dudes act and will watch for him to do bigger and better down the road as he progresses. Thanks for sharing.
The US are great, you should vallue what you guys have there, 1st amendment and all, dont let these leftists douchebags bring you down, they were the ones who destroyed Brazil, dont let they do the same to America. Cheers

The problem is: he went on to live in the USA recently (apparently on a tourist visa, violating the permission to only stay 90 days, which turns him and his family into illegal immigrants) By this alone, I would not have a problem with it, the guy is probably seeking better career opportunities for him. The issue is when he decides to go live in Los Angeles (one of the most "capitalist" urban centers in the world) and starts to release videos shitting in the head of the brazilian president, who is opposed to the leftist ideals of the last 20 years that drove the country into a socialist craphole. It's very convenient for him to preach on the internet in favor of socialist ideals remotely when he and his family is over there living in the capitalism centre of the world, benefiting from it, probably overstaying his visa (a crime) and probably getting benefits from american tax payers who had to work hard their entire lives. This guy is behaving not only like a parasitic leech, but also going out of his way to make brazilian people's lives harder, since it seems like he does not support his own country, he seems to be one of these guys who roots for all things to turn into chaos, because it benefits him and brings more material comfort for him. Selfishness and hipocrisy. Do not support this guy. And try to take a look into his migration status, he's probably breaking the law staying in the US right now.
