Nowadays you need extraordinary computer power for watching 8K 360° videos. If you have troubles with watching such videos, choose 4K or HD quality in the settings of your TH-cam player. We hope that TH-cam will find a solution for optimization this video format to make it watchable for common users.
Also here is the answer for a frequently asked question about true resolution of an 8K 360° video. Unlike standard videos, in a 360° video you can see only a part of original image (approximately 30 degrees out of 360). As result, the real resolution of the part you can see isn't bigger than 1.3K.
Please note that AirPano team originally shoots its films in 16,12,10,8K resolution, depending on year and cameras used back then. But before upload to TH-cam channel we downscale all our videos to 8K.

Completely agree. Watching this in quest 3 and its pretty good. No one seems to have done any natural 180 or 360 suitable for relaxing to the sounds of nature. No need to try too hard just go to good locations such as waterfalls or crashing waves on a rock shore and keep steady camera with slow panning.
We need more 16k 360 footage please. The wave of new VR technology can benefit from this so much

I'm watching this on my phone and it looks like 360p or 480p same in my laptop. Why is that?
To watch in maximum resolution, you need to watch on a large computer, not from a phone / tablet, go through Google Chrome.
If from a phone, please check your settings and internet speed. By default, the player puts 720. If you select high quality, then it will put 1440. And 2160 can only be selected if you click on "Other-select resolution".
You have to watch it on google chrome.
If the Internet is weak, then TH-cam will not allow you to select high quality.
And currently TH-cam supports a maximum of 8k resolution.

I suggest viewers manually increase to the top level settings, go to settings, quality, advanced, and pick the highest number. It makes the experience much better!

Could you tell me how did you get that type of quality for 360 videos after uploading on youtube?
My 360 videos (4k) look much better quality and with more details on my computer but the quality gets significantly decreased after uploading and compressing on youtube (mp4 - 4K)..

Hi! Yes, it is a big pronlem with TH-cam. It uses very significant compression. So the only way we found is to upload 8K videos to TH-cam. Usually we upload file 7680x3840, 150Mbs.
TH-cam downscale the file to 4K but this 4K looks better than the direct upload of 4K files. I am not sure why it is so, but it is the only advice we can give you.

TH-cam in this moment maximally supports 8K resolution, so we upload in 8K. But the video was shot in the specified resolution and when TH-cam supports it, we will upload it.

Угол обзора gopro около 120 градусов, так что двух камер не достаточно. Наш риг состоит из 6-8 камер.

TH-cam unfortunately supports a maximum of 8K. And in different countries it limits it differently, we don’t know the reason. To watch in maximum resolution, you need to watch on a large computer, access via Google Chrome, have stable good internet.
