Harrison Chapman I think games which you could call disappointing or flawed which could have been improved on are the best candidates. Something like Mafia 3, Evolve, COD since black ops 2 and Halo since 343 took over. Maybe a few games too which are fantastic and for him to break down what specific aspects of the games make them so great. Like the last of us or bioshock infinite.
“If I really thought it was an atrocious, unforgivable mess, I wouldn’t waste my time on it” Destiny 2: I’m done. Destiny 2: Nevermind, I’m actually not done. Point is Alex, your relationship with Destiny is a lot like an abusive relationship.
Remember in the opening stage in the force unleashed? The one where you play as Darth Vader? That was awesome and I feel like that an example of what you are talking about. Rather than showing a cutscene of him showing up, you are playing as him showing up.
Brendan Merkel I don't know, darth vader never seemed the guy to be able to go faster than a relaxed gait mostly due to his large frame and bulky prosthetics. At least every step was filled with enemies
The guy voicing lord saladin sounds like he's straining himself to do a optimus prime impression but fails because he manages to sound too fucking dry even for a robot.
+Gaf Cat I didn't know that. Interesting. Only reason I really got the DLC's is because the game almost forces you which I've never been too fond of. (At the time I still liked destiny)
Aspiring I've played destiny (since my brother got it) but I've never watched reviews for it. IHE is a special case though, consistent good points, 10/10 voice ;))) and no pandering. it's the whole package imo
I don't see what the big deal is, even though I still love video games as I grow older I have less time and interest in playing a lot of them. Heck, the last $60 game I brought was Dark Souls 3, literally nothing else interests me nowadays.
The Calvariam okay let me explain the joke. The joke was, I was calling him colorblind to make him think HE was the only one seeing red, and everyone else was seeing a different color. Get it?
As an MMO fan, I refuse to acknowledge Destiny's DLC as an Expansion. When I get an Expansion, I expect well over a year and a half's worth of content over the course of several patches. This... this is just DLC that only takes a couple hours to complete, it's flat-out less content than those patches I mentioned! You're better than this, Bungie!
If by vast you mean spend a long time grinding for a specific armor piece, weapon, or to get to max light, then yes. If you mean actual content then its just the raid.
ThatOneShyguy ok I'm sorry I need to be a nerd for a second in the lore of the taishibeth (moth people) are already dead oryx killed the entire race it's detailed in the "books of sorrow" which is basically the lore for oryx I'm sorry I just needed to say that but I would like to see them
I'm amazed when people assume I don't like something because I give it criticism. It's like they think you have to like all of it in order to like any of it at all, and if that were true, no one would like anything. You can see the dumb looks on their faces as they say "I thought you liked the lord of the rings" or insert franchise here. Yes, I love it! Just not every single part of it.
I fucking hate that! Nobody is capable of accepting even an ounce of criticism anymore. It's ridiculous. It used to be where you decided whether you liked something and for whatever reason you provided, but now, as you said, you have to love it all or hate it all. There is no middle ground. I think this is from the larger problem seeping into society that everyone is trying to funnel each other into extremes. Nobody wants to just sit back and accept multiple viewpoints. Personally, I hate Destiny. There are some good things about it, and I definitely have a predisposition to enjoy Bungie products, but I overall do not enjoy playing it. The multiplayer is unbalanced, the wrong things get nerfed/buffed, and different areas of play suffer because of the balance outside those areas. However, the visuals are very nice, there is clearly a world here that you want to discover, and you can't say it isn't at least an original concept. My personal opinion of this game does nothing to prevent you from enjoying it, so why can't we all exist together? So yeah, got a bit "triggered," as it were, but I'm in control again. I hope my shouting my opinion at you didn't offend greatly.
Sometimes you're critical to something you like because you want it to be perfect. You can tell he likes Destiny, otherwise he wouldn't make a half hour video explaining how it could be better. In fact compared to his other videos he's actually pretty nice to Destiny.
Yes, I get how you feel! For example, Friday The 13th is my favourite movie franchise of all time, but I can still admit that the movies are flawed. It doesn't mean I don't like them.
this i a common misunderstanding destiny did not have a 500 million budget destiny the FRANCHISE has a 500 million budget with the whole 10 year plan lol
Hasan Lee That's still no excuse for it being what it was in comparison to Half Life 2, a masterpiece in my opinion and in the opinion of most critics. Plus, if they spread out the budget, vanilla Destiny probably would have had a similar budget to Half Life 2, leaving no excuse for the people who made Halo (HALO, for god's sake!) to make such a game lacking of interesting and unique elements and mechanics to the game. Eg an actual story, cool weapons with multiple functions, different systems that are unique, more enemy types and designs, and I could go on and on.
Destiny has a 10 year plan. Dude I'm not arguing that HL2 isn't a good game in fact it's one of the best games of all time, but half life had a lower budget because it was made years ago. Destiny wasn't a bad game at release it was just a little disappointing because of the lack of story and content. Half life had an amazing story and unique gameplay and that's what made it good.
I don't like games in which you grind and grind so you can get the best stuff and things.one of my favourite game is shadow warrior 2 and its an sorta rpg destiny is just bad for me I see people with 1000 hours invested into it and I don' like playing a game for I 6 months I gets repetative and boring. I mean this game is not no man's li... (cough)no man's sky bad why is the cursur in destiny like no mans sky for the pc version use THE NORMAL PC CURSUR NO MANS LIE AND DESTINY SOME IRON SHIT
Dude your critiques are amazing, you back up and explain your opinions and give us a good reason as to why you feel the way you do. You have a good mix of humour and seriousness that lets someone enjoy the video but also keep listening to you. And most importantly your videos are fucking well produced, sound quality is amazing and you actually have video content that's fucking related to what you're saying, which sounds simple but the amount of TH-camrs that just sprout shit whilst random footage plays is unbelievable, so yeah, thanks for that. Still, that being said I don't think these video game reviews should be too regular of a thing. The market is already saturated in that regard and there are tons of TH-camrs out there producing quality video game reviews, plus it isn't really what your audience signed up for. But hey one of these every now and again will be cool. Also I'm contractually obligated to request that you do a "I hate Mars Bars" episode. Alright, peace. Keep up the good work.
I have no issues with a video game review from IHE every now and then. I agree, TH-cam is full of quality game review channels but still, I don't mind hearing another opinion from someone I can often relate to. Then again I love video games but maybe a bigger portion of his viewer base doesn't. I don't know.
Gareth Johns I'm astounded by that comment, it's a rare thing for a commenter to actually have a point, structure and correct spelling and grammar. I really hope IHE sees this .
And the Witcher is pretty boring. Try doing a weekly challenge in this game or running a raid and it's far more intense, graphically pleasing, and takes quite a while to complete and longer to master.
Millennia0007 it truly is the writers fault. Look at nolan norths acting in this game. Its good and average. Then look at his acting in the uncharted series. Hes won awards for his acting in uncharted 4
destiny return of the mole people the sequel to the prequel of the reboot from the cliffhanger ending still a beter name than battlefield 1 game the 16 game ir 15 or whatever the fuck
Rhys Owens From what I've heard it's an MMO where the MMO elements aren't streamlined at all, the story is hidden away in ebooks, and the gunplay is fun and satisfying.
It doesnt deserve the massive part of MMO, its just 3-6 player Co op, the least they could do is making you feel important like the halo stories that also have 4 player Co op so his complaint about not feeling important is justified
New DLC coming soon: Destiny: Attack of the Fallen Moth People from Mars! Defend the Cosmodrone from Fallen armies who have sided with Moth people. Only £24!
BigStoucheMcGee you forgot the part where you have to buy Destiny all over again because of the fact that Bungie will leave PS4/XBone and they'll only be continuing on with 4K PS4's and XBone's....
I'm a destiny player since the very beginning and I love your destiny videos! I think you really judge the game where it deserves to be judged and vice-versa. I'm hoping that you'll release a destiny 2 review, now as it's release is coming up in less then a week from now!
Oh, he did. And by god is Destiny 2 nowhere near as better than Destiny. But of course, when you watch his Destiny 2 review you will see that. I also recommend Angry Joe's Destiny 2 review which is very insightful as well.
The scene from vanilla destiny where you're talking to the queen is probably the best cutscene. It's probably the only cutscene you're in where you're talking and not getting told to you
Throughout all three of your videos on Destiny, dispite being a huge fan of Destiny, I always find myself agreeing with most of if not all of your points made in each of your videos. I may love this game to death but I can recognize it's flaws and point out places that they went wrong at.
Keith Ferguson gets around, his voice career on wikipedia is something to behold. Such as this video and the fact that he voices Reaper would seem to typecast him as the heavy, brooding type, but then you see that he does regular voice work for CN including Bloo from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends or Robot Chicken and realize the guy has a lot more color in his voice than just pitch black.
+Space Ghost Ashes of Ariandel was good, but short as hell, which disappointed the hell out of me. They also spoiled 90% of the DLC in their trailers. But who would have expected someone like Bungie to top them off with something shorter for the same price.
I personally think they focused most of their effort on the pvp aspects to try and please the community. I liked it but like you said, it was to short.
good critism IHE we need more people like you in the Destiny Community even though i like RoI because I like Destiny in generall But we need to tell Bungie what was wrong and what was right good job
Annett Brahja completely agree. Most people just complain about everything and in return have made the game slow, but this is some great feedback. I hope Bungie sees this video as an opportunity to improve. There kinda at the bottom, no where to go but up
this is just a desperate attempt to keep the remaining loyal playerbase occupied while waiting for destiny 2.and it should have been FREE.its ironic how these companies always try to fuck the most loyal fans the most."oh you been here since the start?and youre still here even after most of the people left?well, heres a big 20$ FUCK YOU to you.with some snow sprinkled over old russia,ONE new area, rehashed events, some crappy hub nobody gives a shit about and a bunch of gimmicks that were thrown in there for the fuck of it and took no time and effort to add"
Oooh! That's good "Expansion." Meanwhile in FFXIV Heavensward! I pay 12-14 USD a month, for about...I dunno... 800 hours of content. Not to mention, the "free" (Put it in " " because technically they are not free in the sense that I have to pay sub, but the patches themselves costs nothing) update patches that add extra content after I've bought said expansion. I am looking forward to what the 2017 Stormblood expansion will bring, and the future patches for said Expansion, aswell as the story that is unfolding in an interesting way. I realize that I pretty much turned this into a semi-ad for Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn, but what Destiny do with their so called "Expansions" pisses me off to no end. My jaw dropped when IHE revealed the campaign length. For 15 bucks (The same amount I pay for my sub for Final Fantasy XIV) that is just a horrendous waste of money. Others may look upon it differently, and I'll admit, I am rather Biased towards Final Fantasy XIV, having played it during its 1.0 phase and 2.0 phase. But if this is the way "Expansions" are going, then the gaming community has seriously made a horrid mistake.
Oh a new expansion? Well the Witcher and Darkest Dungeon just gave out some free content and all of shovel knights DLC is free. But sure i'll buy some of you DLC.
Zenith Wills It is not a DLC it is an expansion. As in a new part of the realm unlocked. Heavensward is set in Ishgard, a city that was previously locked down, it adds several new areas, more quests, a long ass amazing main quest story-line and a whole lot of new things.
i love destiny and i still play it, but god damn i love this video. you're completely right about the story as well. with taken king it was basically "you killed this dude, now his dad is pissed and is on his way to fuck you up". with rise of iron, not only was the story very very short and lacking detail, but it just kinda popped up from no where. what the fuck is SIVA and why should i give a shit? i just want to shoot things with my gun for a chance at a better gun. while the story sucks, the raid is really really good and big props to the developers for that. And for anyone who just wants to reply with something like "you play destiny? wtf? destiny sucks! play (insert other generic shooter here) instead", please learn to read.
Jesus christ calm down man, no need to go all keyboard warrior, he's just expressing his joy for the new "I hate" and stating that it is worth the wait.
Joelsuf True, Except between the two i personally find IHE to be much more entertaining, and I'm sure a lot of other people will too, so it'd probably turn out great :D
Hell yeah I want to see that. I would especially love to see him cover the really weird, obscure titles like he does in TSFTW - something like Dusk 12 which is so utterly terrible that it's absolutely hilarious, and I love hilariously bad games.
8Kazuja8 True.. true, good points (although i personally don't think the whole bad game reviews is overplayed because i personally rarely watch them) but doing reviews in that same archetype of big-budget but poorly executed games would still be quite entertaining no? Like think of an IHE video on Evolve or Far Cry 4, now i think that'd be good.
exactly, I mean you already got the AVGN, Jontron, PB Gamer, ProJared, and so much more. I've seen the same game on so many of these reviews it's become super stale. Although I'm a long time sub to AVGN and Jontron because they can actually make me laugh.
I'm not even an avid gamer (tbh I'm a filthy casual), and I still greatly enjoy it when he analyses video games. It's just really refreshing and lovely to listen to.
I would really like to see a destiny game where you get involved in an actual full scale war. If they made the story more like mass effect so instead of each expansion being a different mini story it carried on from where the last expansion left off. This could make huge potential for space battles, dynamic story decisions, diplomacy stuff and maybe even some basic strategy. Add well written characters that could die unpredictably, actual vehicle and infantry warfare. I know this stuff would be very hard to do all at once with the multiplayer but if you carried it on with expansions you could add more each time. For example, one expansion could all be in a large city area. Let's say at the end of the campaign you are forced to retreat the planet and hold positions at a space station defence line. The next expansion would be set in that space station. I'm sure this idea would not work perfectly with destinys story design but maybe a couple of these features could be incorporated into destiny 2. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I think it's cute that they call the DLCs "expansions" as if they are actually on par with games that have REAL expansion packs.... Destiny is a mediocre cash grab that doesn't try to hide that it's nothing more than a greedy, cynical cash grab that isn't interested in giving YOU a good game. I don't consider destiny a real video game. It's on par with "The Kardashians" as "it's not REALLY a source of entertainment. Just a cash grab disguised as one"
LateNightGaming - Halo News & Entertainment have you ever actually played it? I have weeks on it and it's probably one of the finest games if you actually play it
LateNightGaming - Halo News & Entertainment I agree expansion should mean added experience separate from the original. shivering isles on oblivion is an expansion. it's not an expansion if it's "what we promised to begin with" I'm a gamer I've played thousands of games over multiple platforms. destiny is the same as COD a really pretty and polished POS.
You mean Gear Box who were able to create tons of DLC for Borderlands 2 because they stole a shit loads of money from SEGA to make a little game you may have heard of called Aliens coloniel Marines but ended up taking all of that money and putting it into Borderlands 2 and putting 0 effort into Aliens and lieing to people and SEGA about how great Aliens was going to be and then releasing one of the worst games ever made ripping off thousands of people for their money and making SEGA take the fall for it while they went on to become one of the most cherished FPS developers in the world and we're launched to worldwide fame through the release of the extremely popular Borderlands franchise which 2 solidified. That company? Yah fuck them #someofuswontforgetgearboxlies
I personally love the souls series, and I respect your opinion, but I disagree with you. Yes it is bare bones in some departments, but a lot of the game (especially the first dark souls) is what you make of it, which truly adds to it's magic. It is also unique how someone can go through the entire game and not know a single thing about the story. it's funny because it is like the polar opposite of most games where you have a set objective and the story is force fed to you, instead, you search for the story, make your own interpretations and ideas, and also discuss it with others. Idk... if you don't like the series then that's fine but it's just the way you delivered what you said that makes me think you don't care about the souls series. All I'm getting across is for someone like me who cares so much about the souls series, this game and what I did with it has truly changed my life and perception of other products. And for someone like me who wants nothing but to share the magic and memories of these games, I just can't summarize why I loves these games so much. I just wanted to ramble because such an objective statement doesn't do these games justice...
I need to get something off of my chest, so you probably don't need to see this. I played Destiny religiously since December 23rd of 2014. After around a year, the content spout dried up, and Rise of Iron was coming out. I thought this was great, more content, more things to do. However. I have already spent $120 on this one game. And adding this extra $30, didn't feel right. So June 2016 came around, and then I stopped. I moved on from Destiny and haven't touched it since. The only reason I bought it, was that it was a first person shooter which is T (or 13+) and is Sci-fi related. I love Sci-fi and this filled my needs, until I figured it out. The schemes, microtransactions, poor content, bugs, glitches, and more. Ridiculous. I'm not buying a PS4 (yeah, still don't have one, what a loser.) just solely for Destiny. If you did read this, thanks. I appreciate it. I just needed that off of my chest.
Ratchetrpg01 let it out brother...your not alone. If destiny 2 is ANYTHING like Destiny 1, I and few of my fellow friends are done with this money grabbing "franchise".
Destiny 2's title is confirmed = The Last Chance -for Bungie aka Activision's biotch to redeem themselves with the massive amount of fans lost with their so called 10 year plan- Got a nice ring to it.
Just to mention it, I think New Vegas has some of the best expansion packs; new areas, newer weapons, interesting characters and a brilliant story with each area. Heck, in Dead Money, the gameplay is completely different from the vanilla game, with the limited resources and survival orientated gameplay. And in Old World Blues, the whole gameplay is about exploration where each laboratory has a different story and dark secret. As you can't tell, Dead Money and Old World Blues are my top two!
Bethesda is really good at DLC, Oblivion's Shivering Isles is my favorite DLC in any video game. Bungie should take some notes on what they do and add them to future games.
That is exactly why Bethesda has done everything they can to make the world forget the existence of Obsidian. Its hard to pull a destiny on TES when the best game in the series was created by a different studio
That voice acting was uncomfortably bad. How can a company that managed to create a story as enthralling and emotional as Halo Reach create such a sad excuse for a story so many years later.
During the development of destiny a bunch of people got fired and a great story similar to halo's got scrapped and reworked because bungie thought people would be too stupid to follow it. :(
Small nitpick, those melee weapon swings look so stilted and awkward. They look like the player character has locked all their muscles. There's no weight to the appearance. Maybe it feels different but it looks like the swords are made of plastic.
Also they don't appear like very memorable movements I guess. There's not a lot of subtle movement in each swing. Comparing it to melee combat in Warframe and there's no contest. Warframe has a lot of subtlety in how your character moves.
Coming from someone who has been playing since launch, I totally see why u despise it. And in some way I do as well. But something about it keeps me coming back. It's community is OK of the best community's out there. Everyone helps everyone. But ya, definitely see were u are coming from.
Alex Laufenberg I played from launch to Oct 2015. I was tired of Bungie's laziness and incompetencies. I was tired of recycled content, bad servers, the numerous bugs. I was tired of being milked by Bungievision for little and bad content.
Destiny is the best example of a great idea executed poorly Honestly I can't tell if it's the focus on planning many expansions instead of making a full game (say what you want about WoW but its expansions really do feel like full separate games) or just no understanding of how a game only works well if all elements are complimentary to each other (which it can't be because Bungie are capable designers)
"I don't understand why they didn't just add some sort of ice planet to the galaxy" Because we've used all the possible planets for the game. That's why rise of iron is the last expansion
I know this is a petty thing to bring up, but I can't help but feel that the game's great art design and grand musical score somehow makes this game worse. It feels wasteful that all of this brilliant and gorgeous use of color and scale in the environment serves an ultimately bland, generic core gameplay that will cause most players to not really notice how gorgeous this game looks. It's like how everyone praises the visuals and musical score of Man of Steel and Batman v Superman, and yeah some of those aspects are good, but they just elevate how poorly made those movies are. What's the point doing your best to make your product look good, when there isn't an equal amount of effort put into the core substance of the product that will make it great? Why make a film look good visually when the story is so poorly told? Especially when you're supposed to tell that story WITH the visuals? Why have good graphics on a repetitive core gameplay that don't serve towards to elevate the gameplay? (Edit: In retrospect, that whole argument I just said could be summed up as "this game had so much wasted potential" but I just felt like expressing that more in depth lol rip)
It could be said that the positives of the game created so much contrast when compared to the negatives that the latter can't help be noticed by most people.
ROG41 The only thing I think that hurt the visuals is the dark vignette around the edges of the screen, especially when you're aiming down the sights. I never like this visual detail in any game and I wish it could be disabled
You're right bungie has fallen in love with their own world design and art environment they expect you to think that's the best thing in the world and abandon any other aspect any game should have. So when they add a basic minimum like story or characterization, they get praised so much because the bar is set so low but since the gamers have been sidelined by vapid, shallow graphics they will defend this game to no end. They do this unconsciously not realizin bungie will never unleash the true potential this game has. The sad story is this game will always be a summation of great potential that will never be seen through.
How to play Destiny Step 1: go on third party websites for people. Step 2: Do things that get really repetitive Step 3: Get kicked cause either your LL is too low, your a kid, your really bad at this game, or they are douches. Step 4: stop playing for a while. Repeat
Or if you are a solo player 1.Grind the bounties. 2. Grind for 390 light. 3. Play Nightfall solo or fail playing the Nightfall. 4. Grind the Crucible weekly bounty. 5. Play the Iron Banner if available. 6. Wait for weekly reset. Repeat
An in depth into the Witcher franchise (or just 3) would be interesting and pretty much the opposite of this; showing how much passion the devs have/had, adding all the free shit and little missions that most companies would charge for, real fucking expansions, side characters with more development that a lot of protagonists, etc I haven't played Destiny since before the April update (and before that I took months off before TTK) and don't plan on playing again unless there is significant improvement in most aspects. The whole behind the scenes turmoil and rewriting the entire story a year before release and making us pay for shit piecemeal over the course of years (there were scenes on the dreadnaught in the 2013 e3 video), the shit they pulled with Marty where he won the lawsuit, the awful RNG, having to have PS+ to do basically anything in the game, etc. I'd sum up my hundreds of hours playing as 85% grinding monotony and 15% fun which is incredibly infuriating because Destiny had (and maybe still has) the potential to be a truly amazing experience.
To be fair, so many games do the whole "There was an epic event, the world is now fucked, and you get to start at the most boring part where everyone is rebuilding".
Rogun, one of the only lines of script in the game - when you think you're just about to get a bit of story - reads 'I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain'. If that isn't a metaphorical middle finger to any of their audience with an IQ above 10, I don't know what is. 'Story driven open world RPG' my balls
That is not an excuse, in dark souls for example the world has coming to an end, everything is rotting, dying, going hollow, and big things already happened, yet your caracter is making a differencen, killing the lords of cinder, and deciding the future of the world, lots of cool things happening while you play, in destiny nothing happens until the raids, even then killing atheon an the siva fallen thing does'nt seems to change a thing.
Bro thought he could just “sound badass” through all his lines and make it work When he is reminiscing about his dead comrades, he can’t drop the smoker badass tone because it’s all he was either told to do or its all he knows how to do
its keith james ferguson and he also voiced Bloo he did the voice of Reaper in overwatch and Basch from final fantasy and Marluxia from kingdom hearts and who has been telling you its peter cullen?
Pretty much how I feel about Destiny. I love the lore and it's potential, but it's just been so poorly executed. Just waited for them to get it right, and they just flat out failed. I stupidly allowed myself to purchase the content twice, once on the Ps3 and again on XB1. It's just insane how badly they missed the target they originally set for themselves almost a year before release. I followed the internews and test videos long before many others, drooling at the details that were given. Only to watch it fail, time and again, to uphold those promises. The final, final, final, final product isn't worth the money it demands. Do I like it? Yes, and I'll continue to play it. But I feel as if it only deserves half of the money for the carbon copy content it gave us every single DLC release.
Dude do more of this analysis/review on other games, honest to god its really well done and you have a great eye for things people dont normally detect, specially in writing/dialogue
The RIse of Iron felt like a Free Trial to me rather than a paid seasons worth of DLC. Its funny how its summer 2019 and Bungie still hasnt learned their lesson that they actually need to provide content with seasons. We haven't gotten any new Strikes, Crucible Maps, Dungeons, Story-Driven Quests, or Full Cutscene Stories since Forsaken. We've only been given new modes (Menagerie, Gambit Prime, Forges) and painstakingly annoying bounties to complete to unlock them with a sprinkle of a new lazily made raid every other season.
I feel that destiny 2 is going to be what the players want, we've finally drilled our gripes deep enough into their prefrontal cortex, hopefully it won't effect their ability to deliver. You should definitely make a video on desticle 2, I have reasonable hopes, but it seems that they finally get it
Evan Coffey if Bungie actually gives us an actually awesome game....people will raise hell......in way probably as huge as in no man's sky hate. If that happens then the main question that will be asked, and had better get answered is why would Bungie put no effort into Destiny 1 and is supposedly putting all their time and resources into Destiny 2.
HOLY SHIT!!! i have to say, i love all of your stuff and am generally quite entertained by your "I Hate..." Series, but this video...THIS RIGHT HERE...fucking takes the cake!! I mean dude, what an awesome, indepth analysis of a game you truly and noticeably like and care about. You made it clearer than ever to me, what kind of potential and epicness the world of destiny reeks of and that, with that team behind it, it's clearly possible to reach that full potential! made me hyped up as ever for a Destiny 2/sequel/whateverthellcallit!! Definitely continue with that type of gaming related content!! LOUVÉ it!!
yes more please the im loveing these type of videos from you (if you can get your self to do it do search for the worst on games that would be hellish)
I feel sorry for the people who have sunk too much time into this game to stop playing now. But hey, at least you didn't get trapped playing Clash of Clans constantly like I did. Man fuck that game.
liam greaney He's not saying the game is bad (I think) he's just saying it's VERY addictive. If you pay lots of microtransactions, then you can't uninstall with a clear mind.
Hey, i really appreciate what you are trying to do here, thanks for the hard work and dedication you put in your work. I play destiny and all, but even I and many of other destiny players agree that bungie needs to realize that they can't do the "souls" version of storytelling.
Armando Perez hmmmm interesting I still play because I like the guns in this game collecting awesome guns is literally the only reason I play this LOL.
The main thing I dislike about Destiny is that all the cool stuff that I legitimately find interesting is all in the lore. Like the Hive making a deal with Eldritch horrors, the whole great disaster fiasco, the Iron Lords storming SIVA, a lot of that is much more interesting than what we are actually given. If Bungie was smart, instead of having us play through all this "story" stuff which is just "go here, kill that, scan this, repeat," they should've had us play through these interesting parts. Like as one of the Guardians during the Fall, or as one of the Iron Lords while storming the Plaguelands to find SIVA.
nice to see more varied content friend
Pyrocynical first
Pyrocynical hi
Pyrocynical inb4 this gets top comment
Pyrocynical you're a pretty neat guy, my dude.

I didn’t know I could die from terrible dialogue...until I did.
Don't worry, you'll respawn in a minute.
Kiiantic 5352 I thought I wouldn’t find one of these comments... until I did
I don’t like that comment... until I did
I didn't know a video ridiculing a product would make me buy it... until it did.
died their Final death actually makes sense in the Destiny universe.... WE die once... THEY die countless times.....
Please do more video game videos. You're really good at them and they're very interesting.
I agree. What kind of games/series did you have in mind though?
Harrison Chapman I think games which you could call disappointing or flawed which could have been improved on are the best candidates. Something like Mafia 3, Evolve, COD since black ops 2 and Halo since 343 took over. Maybe a few games too which are fantastic and for him to break down what specific aspects of the games make them so great. Like the last of us or bioshock infinite.
hi
Cian Gargan ikr
I agree. I haven't even played Destiny but I enjoyed this video anyway.
“If I really thought it was an atrocious, unforgivable mess, I wouldn’t waste my time on it”
Destiny 2: I’m done.
Destiny 2: Nevermind, I’m actually not done.
Point is Alex, your relationship with Destiny is a lot like an abusive relationship.
This is how i feel every destiny fan is like. They hate it but they cant leave it because something inside them feels it will get better someday
Sadly that still holds true
Remember in the opening stage in the force unleashed? The one where you play as Darth Vader? That was awesome and I feel like that an example of what you are talking about. Rather than showing a cutscene of him showing up, you are playing as him showing up.
I agree.
I didn't like how they forced you to walk that entire section though. Like, you shouldn't be able to run as THE darth vader, but still.
It's because he's so awesome he doesn't care about how long it takes him to get somewhere ;p. yeah it was annoying.
Brendan Merkel I don't know, darth vader never seemed the guy to be able to go faster than a relaxed gait mostly due to his large frame and bulky prosthetics. At least every step was filled with enemies
Lodestarrobot Yeah yeah, but running as darth vader just takes away from the dramatic character you know?
The guy voicing lord saladin sounds like he's straining himself to do a optimus prime impression but fails because he manages to sound too fucking dry even for a robot.
I think it's less an Optimus Prime voice and more a Generic Badass Trailer Narrator voice.
boxorak he sounds kinda like reaper
Purple Pizza Turtle because it is reaper lmao.
I knew it. His voice always sounded so awfuly familiar
Purple Pizza Turtle and he played bloo in fosters home for imaginary friends, I Shit you not
lol that moment when a robot has more emotions than a human
robot(cayde) human (lord Saladin)
Dominik Sontowski ...😑
Dominik Sontowski LOL never thought about that LOL and you are correct.
Cayde was a human before the collapse.
Yup
"While half the studio is hard at work with Destiny 2" famous last words IHE
The main problem for me is that I'm a lonely fuck and can't get even a few people together for a raid.

When you pay $30.00 for earth with snow on it
+Gaf Cat I didn't know that. Interesting. Only reason I really got the DLC's is because the game almost forces you which I've never been too fond of. (At the time I still liked destiny)
its gotta fun raid
Sounds like my typical winter heating bill really.
ImTreePrime damn yeah cos rise of iron was literally just the earth with snow on it huh.
$30 for 2 hours of content
I don't even play video games; I just like listening to Alex's voice.
Aspiring Shame on you.
Aspiring
I don't understand that. How do you not play video games?
Aspiring
I've played destiny (since my brother got it) but I've never watched reviews for it.
IHE is a special case though, consistent good points, 10/10 voice ;))) and no pandering.
it's the whole package imo
I honestly dont understand how anyone under the age of 50 can manage to not play video games. They are such a huge part of our modern culture.
I don't see what the big deal is, even though I still love video games as I grow older I have less time and interest in playing a lot of them. Heck, the last $60 game I brought was Dark Souls 3, literally nothing else interests me nowadays.
"I certainly hope other developers don't try to copy the success of this game with stingy design practices"

Agree.
He probably won't since there are thousands of other channels already like that
Avery Page He really should.
*You should do more of this kind of videos. You should do this kind of videos SFTW.
yeah. but just not all the time.
Is it just me, or does Siva look like Twizzlers?
well you're not wrong
It's just you. You're colorblind. ;)
Brendan Merkel twizzlers are red...
The Calvariam okay let me explain the joke. The joke was, I was calling him colorblind to make him think HE was the only one seeing red, and everyone else was seeing a different color. Get it?
(slow clap)
I didn't know they'd make Destiny 2
U N T I L T H E Y D I D
Shutup lol
As an MMO fan, I refuse to acknowledge Destiny's DLC as an Expansion. When I get an Expansion, I expect well over a year and a half's worth of content over the course of several patches. This... this is just DLC that only takes a couple hours to complete, it's flat-out less content than those patches I mentioned! You're better than this, Bungie!
Bainbow It takes a short time to beat the story, yes, but the endgame content is vast.
SourGrape Man Which is why I call it DLC rather than extortion.
Bainbow "Only a couple of hours to complete,"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH
If by vast you mean spend a long time grinding for a specific armor piece, weapon, or to get to max light, then yes. If you mean actual content then its just the raid.
still no moth people
I hate when people criticise destiny. But when IHE does it. I completely agree!
Are you saying you're ignorant?
+MemeStar that's what it sounds like typical Destiny fanboys
George Drury
Because IHE actually gives legitimate criticism and doesn't beat around the bush.
Bruh most of this shit has been said repeatedly and fanboys still come marching in with pitchforks
Jesus, you're joking right?
You are absolutely correct! We should be able to criticize something we love. Destiny is by far my favorite game ever, but it does lack!
Super_ Kracker_ agreed.
Nemesis Star I still haven't gotten you yet!
Nadir Bait Saleem well... I suppose it can't be long until xur sells me.
I totally agree, if anything these videos are funny. I've put sooo much time into destiny and still find these videos amazing.
Super_ Kracker_ I like your lack of saltiness. Let's be metaphorical friends.
#Needsmoremothpeople
Maybe in the sequel, my friend. One can dream...
ThatOneShyguy ok I'm sorry I need to be a nerd for a second in the lore of the taishibeth (moth people) are already dead oryx killed the entire race it's detailed in the "books of sorrow" which is basically the lore for oryx I'm sorry I just needed to say that but I would like to see them
ThatOneShyguy sure I'll add moth people, but buy my $100 dlc "expansion" where I add one mission that last 2 minutes.
I see some meme potential
ThatOneShyguy #bringbacktheluminoth :P
Justin Scott Not at all. I thought it was very well formulated.
Kyra Davis If you truly care about something, you won't sugarcoat it, and try to see it for what it is. The whole thing.
Destiny more like D...
I got nothing but fuck it
make i hate dark souls

Shit everyone like this comment, we can't have a popular TH-camr comment and not make it top comment.
Make top 10 bonfires in Dark Souls.
make top 10 shortcuts in dark souls
Let me try
Destiny more like ...Deficiency. Am i rite?
okay I'll see myself out...
Half-Life 2 budget: $40million
Destiny budget: $500million (I'm not joking)
this i a common misunderstanding destiny did not have a 500 million budget destiny the FRANCHISE has a 500 million budget with the whole 10 year plan lol
Ad K Half life 2 is a masterpiece
Soulless loot shooter 2, coming soon.
dongle trump haha ur so funny lol I’m dying
No u
Agreed!
Gareth Johns I love Destiny and I really enjoy watching IHE review it.
Testify!
Yeah man, couldn't agree more. I could....but I won't.
An hour and 30 minutes? Meanwhile The Witcher 3's DLC were each 10 hours long.
And the Witcher is pretty boring. Try doing a weekly challenge in this game or running a raid and it's far more intense, graphically pleasing, and takes quite a while to complete and longer to master.
No, they aren't. You must not play a lot of mmorpgs.
Chris Andreev same
Chris Andreev same
The last expansion for The Witcher 3 was easily 30+ hours. Basically sold you a full quality game for $20
Is Bungee racist against moth people? Why won't they represent their race in their games?
lol
Just Jim
We prefer "Winged Americans"
IT'S LIKE ONE OF MY JAPANESE DOUJINS
Those "moth people" are actually Worms. If you read the Grimoire (which Bungie really need to stop with that.), they have a big link with the Hive.
isnt lord Saladin the voice actor for reaper in overwatch?
holy shit
This only convinces me further that the bad performance here was the writer's fault. Or even the director's.
I think so
In destiny 2, if you get a 25 kill streak in the Iron Banner crucible mode, You'll likely get a cameo to his character Reaper.
Millennia0007 it truly is the writers fault. Look at nolan norths acting in this game. Its good and average. Then look at his acting in the uncharted series. Hes won awards for his acting in uncharted 4
I don't really have a game console..or a tv.
Pikapetey Animations same
oh hello there it's my mate pikapetey
Pikapetey Animations I think it's also available for PC
Pikapetey Animations k
Pikapetey Animations reply i like ur shit
Maybe we will get Moth People in Destiny 2.
Daniel Blaze we better
We need a petition
Husky Wolf He already made one back in Taken King. It didn't even get 5000 signatures :(
Hobbes I was subbed back then, maybe with the 5 times (or so) more subscribers than before we could get to it this time.
destiny return of the mole people the sequel to the prequel of the reboot from the cliffhanger ending still a beter name than battlefield 1 game the 16 game ir 15 or whatever the fuck

Yoda thank god
Yoda gee i wonder why?
Yoda no fuck off
is it really?
Yes. Rejoice, for good taste has triumphed.
Destiny taught me a great lesson, YOU SHOULD NEVER PRE-ORDER A GAME!
+Thecasual? Gamer9 very
JAUSCR your grammar is terrible
Too bad it didn't teach you to proof read
He probably preordered it on his console instead of actually going to the store
i didn't learn from destiny.... but i did for battlefront 2.
"I don't feel very important, anyone could do this important story stuff"
Welcome to MMOs.
Welcome to hate. Not all mmos are like that smart ass
Destiny is pretty much an MMO version of Halo, right?
Rhys Owens From what I've heard it's an MMO where the MMO elements aren't streamlined at all, the story is hidden away in ebooks, and the gunplay is fun and satisfying.
Garrett Thomas I agree with the gunplay bit, especially with the Fusion Rifles.
Only £24!
Way too low for that premium content dude.
You should also pay for extra textures
and to play longer than one hour
HYBRIDZ HQ you're a dumbass
BigStoucheMcGee you forgot the part where you have to buy Destiny all over again because of the fact that Bungie will leave PS4/XBone and they'll only be continuing on with 4K PS4's and XBone's....
BigStoucheMcGee I'll take three! One for each character!
A destiny 2 ad played before this. What
The Danger Noodle w a i t w h a t
I'm a destiny player since the very beginning and I love your destiny videos! I think you really judge the game where it deserves to be judged and vice-versa. I'm hoping that you'll release a destiny 2 review, now as it's release is coming up in less then a week from now!
TheGamingDoge yes destiny 2!!
Oh, he did. And by god is Destiny 2 nowhere near as better than Destiny. But of course, when you watch his Destiny 2 review you will see that. I also recommend Angry Joe's Destiny 2 review which is very insightful as well.
Shade338 yeh, I love Angry Joe's reviews ;)
TheGamingDoge d'you want there to be moth people? :3
Shade338 at least forsaken will fix most things. Too bad there aren't many people still grinding like me.
Siva?

Old memes never die.
ThatCleverFox I knew someone would say that!!!
Zero Three wow, very meme much ded
The scene from vanilla destiny where you're talking to the queen is probably the best cutscene. It's probably the only cutscene you're in where you're talking and not getting told to you
Leokav4est ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Just came from ur D2 vid, u had so much hope! I could hear the disappointment.
Midnightxoxz hindsight man. Watching this now and the disappointment to come is poetically sad.
Throughout all three of your videos on Destiny, dispite being a huge fan of Destiny, I always find myself agreeing with most of if not all of your points made in each of your videos. I may love this game to death but I can recognize it's flaws and point out places that they went wrong at.
I know this is an old comment to reply to but most of the life parts I am against because he’s wrong with a lot but that’s the grimoire card’s fault
And I agree with you.
Just realized that Saladin's voice actor is the same as Reaper from Overwatch.
Except he voices Reaper a lot better.
rollerball987 i was looking through the comments to see if anybody noticed
i knew there was something edgy about saladin
Yoko Yakamori they sound the same
Keith Ferguson gets around, his voice career on wikipedia is something to behold.
Less than 2 hours? And I thought Ashes of Ariandel was too short!
Like I said, you can always go back to Destiny for the worst. Both a bad thing and a good thing.
i finish it in an hour and a half, yeah Ashes of Ariandel is dissapointing, but good, RoI it's just the same lazzy shit.
Well clearly it's not. If it would be, no1 would ever play it.
good critism IHE
we need more people like you in the Destiny Community
even though i like RoI because I like Destiny in generall
But we need to tell Bungie what was wrong and what was right
good job
Annett Brahja completely agree. Most people just complain about everything and in return have made the game slow, but this is some great feedback. I hope Bungie sees this video as an opportunity to improve. There kinda at the bottom, no where to go but up
Annett Brahja I agree
this is just a desperate attempt to keep the remaining loyal playerbase occupied while waiting for destiny 2.and it should have been FREE.its ironic how these companies always try to fuck the most loyal fans the most."oh you been here since the start?and youre still here even after most of the people left?well, heres a big 20$ FUCK YOU to you.with some snow sprinkled over old russia,ONE new area, rehashed events, some crappy hub nobody gives a shit about and a bunch of gimmicks that were thrown in there for the fuck of it and took no time and effort to add"
+Annett Brahja Agreed
I just love how in destiny, you have the might of a god, and you kill gods, yet you are a semi-silent goon at the same time.
Oooh! That's good "Expansion."
Meanwhile in FFXIV Heavensward!
But if this is the way "Expansions" are going, then the gaming community has seriously made a horrid mistake.
just logged off that a minute ago. lol yes, one of the few game's where I feel I get my money's worth :3
ArcheType-Earth you have to buy the game and buy the pass to actually play and it's monthly plus the ps4 version is shit
need to ge back into ff14 ive heard really good things bout heavensward.
Heroes never die
for a price
I hate mondays
It's Friday you shit
They're just missing in action.
No its fathers day
i love destiny and i still play it, but god damn i love this video. you're completely right about the story as well. with taken king it was basically "you killed this dude, now his dad is pissed and is on his way to fuck you up". with rise of iron, not only was the story very very short and lacking detail, but it just kinda popped up from no where. what the fuck is SIVA and why should i give a shit? i just want to shoot things with my gun for a chance at a better gun. while the story sucks, the raid is really really good and big props to the developers for that.
And for anyone who just wants to reply with something like "you play destiny? wtf? destiny sucks! play (insert other generic shooter here) instead", please learn to read.
Why aren't there more comments like this?
You play destiny? wtf? destiny sucks! play (insert other generic shooter here) instead
Mimic because people feel if someone has a different opinion they have to go super Sayan 5 on them.
Or Super Sayan Blue with a side of Kaio-Ken x10!

JAMIE HYMEN

HYBRIDZ HQ are they draining him of his energies?
Finally a new "I Hate" video. It's worth the wait though.
One came out just 6 days
Bedforder 5 days ago 😂😂
Even shorter lol
Bedforder ikr
Jesus christ calm down man, no need to go all keyboard warrior, he's just expressing his joy for the new "I hate" and stating that it is worth the wait.
There should be a video game version for The Search for the Worst.
I second this. Although AVGN already kinda created that concept over a decade ago...
I really enjoy these in depth analysis on video games, your neutrality is refreshing!
You should watch matthewmatosis if you like that style
I can reccomend other "in depth" video game reviewers if you want me too! :)
I'm not even an avid gamer (tbh I'm a filthy casual), and I still greatly enjoy it when he analyses video games. It's just really refreshing and lovely to listen to.
Alex’s perfect pizza is cheese, olives, green and red peppers, and mushrooms
That’s my kind of man
I would really like to see a destiny game where you get involved in an actual full scale war.
Captain Catguy perhaps..
Captain Catguy its done
I think it's cute that they call the DLCs "expansions" as if they are actually on par with games that have REAL expansion packs....
Destiny is a mediocre cash grab that doesn't try to hide that it's nothing more than a greedy, cynical cash grab that isn't interested in giving YOU a good game. I don't consider destiny a real video game. It's on par with "The Kardashians" as "it's not REALLY a source of entertainment. Just a cash grab disguised as one"
LateNightGaming - Halo News & Entertainment fuc k your a sht
LateNightGaming - Halo News & Entertainment have you ever actually played it? I have weeks on it and it's probably one of the finest games if you actually play it
LateNightGaming - Halo News & Entertainment I agree expansion should mean added experience separate from the original. shivering isles on oblivion is an expansion. it's not an expansion if it's "what we promised to begin with" I'm a gamer I've played thousands of games over multiple platforms. destiny is the same as COD a really pretty and polished POS.
LateNightGaming - Halo News & Entertainment nope...
WS Strax that reminds me of something my friend said when she tried to convince me to watch The Kardashians XD no thanks, I'll stick to real games
They need to learn dlc creation from the company that created "Borederlands 2" where a new dlc is over 10 hours of content easily
XxX_D4nksw4G_XxX ikr. Dlc should feel like an entire new (Short) game entirely
I'd say obsidians take on fallout (new vegas) had the best dlc I've ever seens.
Or The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt (CDPR)
Yah fuck them #someofuswontforgetgearboxlies
or bethesda
“It’s okay to be critical of things you like!”
I didn’t know I needed a t-shirt that says that
Bc I absolutely need that on a shirt
Bungie needs to take a page out of Bioware's book. The cutscenes in their games, with your customized character, are amazing.
I said take a page out of their book. Not copy the whole thing.
STEIN667 "halo reach" used your customised character for the campaign, cutscenes, multiplayer, firefight and forge
So if you shoot at this Siva stuff in this expansion...
Does that make you a Siva Gunner?
Nebula Dragon. get ready to make some rips.
Just get warframe m8
I did, I love it
Oxi Clean Yeah. It's like destiny (not FPS, but sci-fi) and completely free.
Ratchetrpg01 let it out brother...your not alone. If destiny 2 is ANYTHING like Destiny 1, I and few of my fellow friends are done with this money grabbing "franchise".
Ratchetrpg01 no one cares
Destiny 2's title is confirmed = The Last Chance -for Bungie aka Activision's biotch to redeem themselves with the massive amount of fans lost with their so called 10 year plan- Got a nice ring to it.
JoKing I think the 10 year plan is going over multiple games, not just one.
Right on money
James Allee, the witcher 3 blood and wine dlc. The dlc added at least 50+ hrs. That game was epic.
That is exactly why Bethesda has done everything they can to make the world forget the existence of Obsidian. Its hard to pull a destiny on TES when the best game in the series was created by a different studio
The HomerJT the whole fallout series sucks
Pitfall Harry in YOUR opinion i like fallout
KITE MAN'S GETTING HIS OWN LEGO FIGURE
not joking bro look it up!!!!
DanDragon they released photos
For the Lego Batman Movie. :D
And Calendar Man.
That voice acting was uncomfortably bad. How can a company that managed to create a story as enthralling and emotional as Halo Reach create such a sad excuse for a story so many years later.
activision
just
activision
During the development of destiny a bunch of people got fired and a great story similar to halo's got scrapped and reworked because bungie thought people would be too stupid to follow it. :(
Drew Q)! halo reach "emotional?" not even
Jog
to be fair, odst was more emotional but reach was a danm good game
Drew Q)! of all the halos you chose the one that started the downfall of the series as a whole. at least say halo 3 if you wanna talk a good halo
Destiny (and it's overly defensive fan base) is the laughingstock of the gaming industry.
The GoldenNinja That's a joke, right? I played that shitty game a lot.
I like tropius
Coming from someone who has been playing since launch, I totally see why u despise it. And in some way I do as well. But something about it keeps me coming back. It's community is OK of the best community's out there. Everyone helps everyone. But ya, definitely see were u are coming from.
Alex Laufenberg
I played from launch to Oct 2015. I was tired of Bungie's laziness and incompetencies. I was tired of recycled content, bad servers, the numerous bugs. I was tired of being milked by Bungievision for little and bad content.
Don't forget 343 and gaylo 5
Aw, I actually love this expansion...
doesn't mean you can't enjoy it he's just pointing out how bungie seemed like they were improving then just stuck to playing it safe on this expansion
I mean, it's not like you can't still love it. It is just his opinion after all, not anything objective.
26:20
I don't mind it, I'm focusing on the quests and stuff.
WHT 22 SECONDS AND THERE ARE ALLREADY 12 COMMENTS THE FUCK?
xXxBlueLuluxXx haha 14 seconds ago posted for me xD

You've clearly never seen the siivagunner fanbase go at work.
Its easy to type First really fast.
you should have to watch the entire video before commenting and leaving a rating.
I thought I didn't even have time to explain why I didn't have time to explain...
*UNTIL I DID.*
Destiny is the best example of a great idea executed poorly
Honestly I can't tell if it's the focus on planning many expansions instead of making a full game (say what you want about WoW but its expansions really do feel like full separate games) or just no understanding of how a game only works well if all elements are complimentary to each other (which it can't be because Bungie are capable designers)
And yes I'd enjoy more game related stuff, Dark Souls maybe?
Billy Kane it's activisions fault they ruined the game
Billy Kane
So is no mans sky
SnipeXGaming its clearly bungies fault please dont say otherwise
KILLERMEMESTAR no if it wasn't for activision all the Dlc would be in 1 game and there would be no micro transactions or Worthless DLCs
"I don't understand why they didn't just add some sort of ice planet to the galaxy"
Because we've used all the possible planets for the game. That's why rise of iron is the last expansion
Jack Chojnacki dude Jupiter alone has a few dozen moons. They could have just used them.
Andrew Firnbach Lol ok
Jack Chojnacki there can be the moons of Jupiter which is the Jovian complex where the nine lives and so on
Jack Chojnacki they didn't use mars
Malik Oumarou .... .... dude...
Cayde's "okay" line needs to become a meme
"Okay"
Eevee Gaming" okay "
Nice book what's it titled
It's like Sonic 06. The excellent music just makes you more pissed that it isn't in a better game
How to play Destiny
Step 1: go on third party websites for people.
Step 2: Do things that get really repetitive
Step 3: Get kicked cause either your LL is too low, your a kid, your really bad at this game, or they are douches.
Step 4: stop playing for a while.
Repeat
Or if you are a solo player
1.Grind the bounties.
2. Grind for 390 light.
3. Play Nightfall solo or fail playing the Nightfall.
4. Grind the Crucible weekly bounty.
5. Play the Iron Banner if available.
6. Wait for weekly reset.
Repeat
An in depth into the Witcher franchise (or just 3) would be interesting and pretty much the opposite of this; showing how much passion the devs have/had, adding all the free shit and little missions that most companies would charge for, real fucking expansions, side characters with more development that a lot of protagonists, etc
I haven't played Destiny since before the April update (and before that I took months off before TTK) and don't plan on playing again unless there is significant improvement in most aspects.
Bruce Wayne
I absolutely second this.
Bruce yes I'd love that
To be fair, so many games do the whole "There was an epic event, the world is now fucked, and you get to start at the most boring part where everyone is rebuilding".
God that „until they did” line is terrible. Bungee needs to reassign their lore writers to the dialogue department because the lore is honestly great.
Bro thought he could just “sound badass” through all his lines and make it work
When he is reminiscing about his dead comrades, he can’t drop the smoker badass tone because it’s all he was either told to do or its all he knows how to do
4:12 Nah, bro. HEROES NEVER DIE :D
... for a price
Ironically, Saladin is voiced by the same VA as Reaper... try un-hearing that now.
He kinda suits reaper since he's designed to be edgy and cringey , but fuck me, I keep thinking of him as Saladin now ;(
Aren't they the same voice actor?
Nevermind found out they are
also didn't see upper comments
Saladin sounds like reaper from overwatch
Is it the same voice actor?
Chips yup
+Chips Yep.
Its the same voiceactor
he also did optimus prime
when you insult lord Saladin... you have angered optimus prime.
Not the same voice actor.
Dead Master really? everyone i know tells me its prime
Ja-Zhen Toh Its not, different guy.
its keith james ferguson and he also voiced Bloo
he did the voice of Reaper in overwatch and Basch from final fantasy and Marluxia from kingdom hearts
and who has been telling you its peter cullen?
Tsumefan2 everyone but you two lol. but you sound like you know wut ur talking about so I'll take your word for it
I didn't know I wouldn't get bored of IHE videos... until I didn't.
He says 9 iron lords reached the end, but every single picture shows 7...
I feel that destiny 2 is going to be what the players want, we've finally drilled our gripes deep enough into their prefrontal cortex, hopefully it won't effect their ability to deliver. You should definitely make a video on desticle 2, I have reasonable hopes, but it seems that they finally get it
Yeah, keep your hopes up since Bungie's track record clearly shows delivering on promises.
Evan Coffey That's not going to happen.
Stealth 101010 because they knew destiny 1 was a failure to begin with ever since they threw out the old story.
Evan Coffey fuck that shit not paying for that
HOLY SHIT!!! i have to say, i love all of your stuff and am generally quite entertained by your "I Hate..." Series, but this video...THIS RIGHT HERE...fucking takes the cake!!
LOUVÉ it!!
"You can criticize things that you like" Alex must love The Amazing Bulk then
Why did I leave an angry comment on this 4 years ago when I was 14? I don’t even play destiny
None of these fucking comments are about the actual video
Sir Crap-a-lot including yours
Sir Crap-a-lot Its because it hasn't been released for long enough
Heck, even yours isn't about the video!
Sir Crap-a-lot yeah duh
Sure, but at least mine is pointing this shit out.
I love destiny
But I totally understand and agree with most of your points
+Nodudeinparticular Good luck getting ppl to read that whole comment
Sagid Saleh same
I wish more people could be like you.
yes more please the im loveing these type of videos from you (if you can get your self to do it do search for the worst on games that would be hellish)
The original mass effect had a dlc for 99 cents that took longer to beat and was more interesting than this
Bring down the sky? Wasn't that free content?
Free for ps3.
HartianX Thats ps3 this is ps4
I was talking about the Mass Effect Bring Down the Sky dlc.
I feel sorry for the people who have sunk too much time into this game to stop playing now. But hey, at least you didn't get trapped playing Clash of Clans constantly like I did. Man fuck that game.
Auresia x Why's the game bad?
Just because you think the game is bad doesn't mean others can't enjoy it.
clash of clasn is a good game!!!!11
Stereotypical 12 year old I think this may be the greatest comment I have ever seen
liam greaney He's not saying the game is bad (I think) he's just saying it's VERY addictive.
And honestly I only stay for the people that play destiny. Hell this game to me is crackstiny.
Armando Perez hmmmm interesting I still play because I like the guns in this game collecting awesome guns is literally the only reason I play this LOL.
i like destiny, even though its shit
Callie Leek I feel the same
Literally every destiny player
I know i'm 4 years late but your titan looked sick dude
3:10
That's Wuuthrad, isn't it?
Ah, so future Skyrim = Destiny.
Rex Orbis My favorite badass war axe.
Oh God.
More or less, only a lot cooler looking because of the fire effects.
Kytoons *Battleaxe
C'mon man...
IHE they put fantastic 4ource on Netflix with a new name called freedom force
Weird
Holy shit I have never clicked on a video so fast
Me too
Genetic Tavi same!
me too
me 4
Genetic Tavi same!
I bet Bungie contemplated adding moth people to the game... UNTIL THEY DIDN'T
