Loma is really built up by genius and has the coachability of humble warrior, like a samurai. The principle embedded in their psyche is so that they win because the fight becomes mental while teofimo fights Emotional. Loma is going to beat him with his mind, frustrate Tiofimo, so that he slips from frustration and Loma sees the slip in slow motion to land lightning fast boulders in the openings of Teofimos confusion. This will be a delight to watch even if I'm wrong. Yet like all warriors, they master peace within so that the fight never escapes their victory.

If you watch Vasyl's fights carefully he fights different every time. He does not have a "style" like almost every other fighter does. He rarely adapts because he is the one forcing his opponent to faux adapt so that he can then predict his opponents actions. Vasyl was bread since a child to be this machine and I also believe that we have not seen him at 100%. Some fighters have gotten 50% out of him and I attribute that largely to Vasyl being put into a new situation be it heavier fighter, taller fighter etc. I think Vasyl will put on a defensive master class while slowly chipping away at Teo with thundering shots to the body. Eventually he breaks Teo down as Teo gasses out and Vasyl still has 3/4 of a tank left.

He's a sportsman - the real deal - What I admired most about Loma was his love of the sport - By that I mean, when he fights he doesn't show malice - just enjoyment...Early in his pro career he could easily finish or punish his opponents, but instead he put in the work to increase his awareness and time in the ring. Lopez otoh, has a real violent mean streak (he said it himself) and a big mouth that will have pissed Vasyl off - As a result, Loma will now look to finish and punish Lopez for his impertinence.

I don’t buy the hype that Teo Lopez is the most dangerous threat to Lomachenko. But Loma fighting for this 4th belt is an event, and sure adds interest to this fight. The risk of a lucky power counter is low IMO. Loma doesn’t give much room for luck. Most likely Teo will throw off balance all night and eat as many punches as he had in his whole career to date.

If you watch Vasyl's fights carefully he fights different every time. He does not have a "style" like almost every other fighter does. He rarely adapts because he is the one forcing his opponent to faux adapt so that he can then predict his opponents actions. Vasyl was bread since a child to be this machine and I also believe that we have not seen him at 100%. Some fighters have gotten 50% out of him and I attribute that largely to Vasyl being put into a new situation be it heavier fighter, taller fighter etc.
I think Vasyl will put on a defensive master class while slowly chipping away at Teo with thundering shots to the body. Eventually he breaks Teo down as Teo gasses out and Vasyl still has 3/4 of a tank left.

I’m conflicted about this fight. Power puncher vs a tactician. Different skill sets with a good narrative. People love to see trash talkers get humbled, Lopez knows it, He’s going with it but I truly believe, with all my heart, that he has no idea the caliber of fighter he is facing. Still, “This is boxing” anything can happen. I like both of them, but I’m going for Loma.

I don’t buy the hype that Teo Lopez is the most dangerous threat to Lomachenko. But Loma fighting for this 4th belt is an event, and sure adds interest to this fight. The risk of a lucky power counter is low IMO. Loma doesn’t give much room for luck. Most likely Teo will throw off balance all night and eat as many punches as he had in his whole career to date.

Cause that is what Teo will be punching most of the time. Those punches that will touch Loma, will be thrown off balance without any consequences. Yep, Teo needs luck to catch him flush. Linares did have that luck to have Loma walking into a punch, but that happened only once. Lomachenko does give that much room for luck only once every 60 rounds. You want to have an idea of what the fight will look like? Go watch an old fight with the same kind of opponents in a very similar situation: Jeff Lacy vs Joe Calzaghe.
