Enjoyable video. Thanks Liam. Only suggestion I have would be to leave the pictures of the stadiums up longer while you are describing them. Thanks for your Wrexham and EFL content.
The valley top for me considering when they temporary left the valley in 1985 /86 season and years of ground sharing . Now look at it wonderfull
Well, get to the Birmingham city ground within five years because they will be moving to a 62k seater eventually.
St Andrews will only be there for another 5-7 years. New owners have plans to build a new stadium. They've bought a 60 acre site and plan to replicate what Man City have done with the Etihad Campus.
Im a Barnsley fan and Oakwell in its current state is definitely lower half, yeah it's big, but it needs a refurb and the West Stand lets it down massively in my opinion. Sooner that stand is leveled, the better.
it is interesting to see the teams from the perspective of where they play. Particularly given the heightened interest in EFL1. Of course it is only a small part of the picture, but an important one!
Wrexham have some interesting challenges to face in their journey back. Getting the balance right between facalities and team will be critical.
Liam- I am watching non Wrexham creators giving weekly efl predictions- step up!
As a Huddersfield fan it’s sad how Bolton built their ground just a few years after ours but without the design flaws of our stadium.
Also the Valley is a way better ground than St Andrews.
Pretty fair comments , Stockport ‘ s ground about half way , I agree , being a County fan . We play Crawley away soon , that was 23rd in your comments , I also agree with that , their ground is dire and helluva long walk from the station !
Why don’t you do a survey on catering at grounds . The worst in my experience is Wembley and the best was Wealdstone FC !
Thank you… honest opinion! KRO
Great video, Liam
The plans for the first phase of the redevelopment at Edgeley Park are with Stockport council at the moment and if approved (very likely) then work will begin in 2025.
The historic Main Stand will be extended, re-roofed and re-furbished, but not demolished as supporters wanted to retain some historic character to the stadium.
The open Railway End will have a large new stand similar in size to the Cheadle End opposite; the second phase - probably dependent on promotion to the Championship - will see a completely new large stand opposite the Main Stand (the two sections at the end of the existing old stand currently being used by away supporters).
The new all-seated capacity will be just below 20,000.
Spot on st andrews when rocking is one of the best in England
After viewing the Barnsley stadium, I imagine that will be a similar look for the STōK Cae Ras in the near future. What is the projected stadium capacity in the future?
Some interesting facts:
1) Wrexham are the only club exceeding capacity on average (+692 fans/match)
2) Birmingham average 92% capacity (27,061/match)
3) Lincoln average a staggering 96.63% capacity
4) Crawley average a mediocre 44.31% (2,718/match) Bottom of League1
5) Wigan needs some more passion...pathetic 38.05% (9,564/match) 12th in League1
I wonder what our (Birmingham) real capacity is, because we've sold out I think every home game so far this season, maybe Wigan was slightly below. We have a lot of segregation between home and away fans, I reckon it's about 28k if every seat is taken rather than 29/30k quoted online.
Also, genuine question, how are Wrexham exceeding capacity? What's the story there?😂
BLACKPOOL away stand temporary perminanant stand .no row markings so difficult to find your seat when away end full with fans .
According to security row 1 is aa row 2 A row 3 B.
Seat numbers half missing.
Food outlet small on entrance .struggle to get food and drink at half time.
Busses make them park on lower road for exit.if your in the car park you have to walk round streets below and up a side street to get to your car .Directed by Police unable to walk round ground to get to car even if youre disabled.
Barnsley fan.
I hope you revisit this after you visit them all or at least once Wrexham plays in all of them this season. Wrexham’s temporary stand is better than nothing but is a little bit tinpot….. The drama around redevelopment needs to be settled and work commenced. Also a comment on your edits- when you add the script to correct or add please leave them up on screen- I have to rewind and slow the video to read it.
We all have our own opinions but i really dont think Racecourse is better than Rottherams at all.
Great video though keep up the great work
I would have put the Posh ground above the Wrexham ground. The Posh ground has a higher capacity (15,314 V 13,322).
Posh ground isn’t good, old school wooden seats, the seating is so tights, and it’s an old away stand
@@denisecharles6992 Wooden seats in old stand more comfortable than the modern seats, two modern stands, innovative safe-standing in one stand, and a capacity exceeding that of Wrexham.
I didn't like sitting to watch a football game,it just didn't have the same atmosphere as all standing
Yo Liam ❤ up the town :) 🏴
Gosh is there no roof on the railway end at Edgeley. How will fans cope. If it's raining you'll already be wearing waterproofs because you've walked to the ground & if it's dry then you don't get wet. What's the obsession with roofs & seats at football grounds. The players are getting wet for our entertainment.
Which team has best, most supportive owners 🏴🇺🇸🇨🇦
No contest... Birmingham City.
Just look what they've done with the existing stadium, the transfer window and acquiring the site for the 62k new stadium.
Sky's the limit. KRO
Actually Wrexham play in the English league and have lots of supporters around the UK; the Welsh, US and Canadian flags are fine, but the omission of 🇬🇧 is childish and silly.
I think you've got these rankings spot on!

You didn't hear much noise at Bolton because not going up last year flattened the atmosphere. You were out first home game after.
I don't want to hear anything about the atmosphere from you lot when 5 years ago you got crowds under 5k at home.
@@falconpunch8734 I’ve supported the club for well over a decade so I have every right to comment 👍🏻
@@LiamTalksEFL Then you'll know how flat yours was then with hardly any numbers. Easy to throw stones now you've all remembered you support Wrexham 👍🏻
You actually went worst to best. Title is misleading
