Through her trademark vibrancy and enthusiasm, her dancers are encouraged to explore their talents and reach their full potential in an inspiring environment.
Claudia - please keep on posting these amazing videos. Micro-managing the muscles and focusing on very subtle movements is KEY to have the right alignment. Love how you break a movement into pieces. And, if you can add any explanations regarding breathing techniques and the core, would appreciate it! Xx
Hi Irene, thank you so much for your awesome support - I'll definitely add that idea to the quick tips videos list xx
Such a great coaching style you have! Love the way you talk and explain corrections with your students! 💜
Loving your support!!
I love how she teaches the ballet teachers i've had are kinda mean :/
thank you so much xo
Navila Zayer i think it s because they.ve had the foundation, so Ms Claudia will perfect it.. don.t worry all of my "miss" also so strict and stern 😁😁 hi five.. and also my friends too.. they had the same prob with us
Claudia, you have no idea how much your tips have helped me improve, although I am an adult dancer who has only recently gone back to ballet after 15 years. Thank you so so much and please keep doing videos! Oh, it would be great if you could do a video on spotting :) xx
thank you, I can't wait to try these tips. I'm sure they are gonna improve my turns. :)
I know they will - keep trying you superstar!! x
It's nice that you don't pigeonhole into one or two corrections. Everybody has different strengths and weaknesses, and this allows for a wide range of correction. Brilliant! Finis Jhung from New York also talks about keeping the head on the back shoulder because many dancers tend to go past the supporting leg in the en dedans turn. Keeping the awareness focused on the head with the back shoulder helps to keep the position straight over the supporting leg rather than shooting past it. I think correction 8 related to this. You're such a bright light Claudia! Love your videos!!
I only have classes once a week and we don't have enough time to improve,I get so happy watching these videos because I absolutely, deeply love ballet more than anything and I don't have the chance to rehears everyday 😭😭😭 She is absolutely gorgeous, love your job
If you you love ballet so much please try to get more classes and pursue your passion/dream. I never did & have regretted it so much all my adult days. x
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! While following along with this video I did my first triple en dedan! Super awesome guys
What would be incredible is a turns intensive class. Turns are the hardest skill to achieve well in classical ballet (for many) and would love to do a class dedicated to developing turns. From chaine to arabesque, lame ducks, en dedans etc withe build up exercises for each. If I was good at turns I would make it myself lol!! Anyways just a class I have dreamed of (severe scoliosis since early teens makes turns an extreme challenge). X
Great Video as always!
Could you do a video on how to work technically correct when you are naturally hyperextended?
xx from Germany
Tip number 3 worked so well for me! I'm preparing for advanced 1 and we need an en dedans turn with a fouetté.
Please do a video on tour jetes! Thank you!
I'll definitely add that to the upcoming videos list xo

Please do a core strength exercise video!!!
loved the video, thank you! but my teacher insists that i should show my leg a la second before the retiré and i kind of lose my posture because of that
Would you consider doing a video about teaching/coaching dance?
I've been dancing for 15 years and during the four years I lived in Germany (went to University there) I started teaching ballet and contemporary dance at the studio where I took classes myself. Now I'm back home in South Africa and although I found a great studio to take classes at, I don't really know how to get back into teaching again.
I'm pretty sure others would also be interested in learning about the different ways to become a dance teacher.
Should you attend a school for dance pedagogy or something? Are those degrees even worth the money, since 'dance teacher' isn't a protected job title in many countries? Things like that...
It would be interesting to hear your opinion on this and also just your personal story of how you became a teacher/coach.
Greetings from Cape Town, South Africa :)
really great tips!!!! thank you so much!!! kisses!!!
Can you do a video on getting better attitude turns?
You are awesome.
Is the only way to flatten and engage the shoulder blades by lifting them up, to the side, and then down?
awesome tips!

talia is cutest, aw
Where is your academy located in? I'm from Spain and I dream going to your school, what can I do?
Hi, I was wondering if the position of the retiré foot is different according to different schools of dance. I can't seem to find this on Google. I swear I've learned en dedans pirouettes with the retiré in different places, but now I can't quite remember and I'm questioning my memory of how I first learned this. Thanks.
Megan Makeuptosh hello, yes the retiré position is varying, depending which ballet method is taught. Sometimes the retiré is higher, or lower, some are crossed in front of the standing leg, when others have the tip of the toe almost at the side of the standing leg. No right or wrong here, so if you take ballet classes currently, simply ask how your teacher wants it 👍
