Should they play faceit? Sure. But again, newbies don't know these things. They just want to have a fun game. If Valve wants to attract new players and make them stay, they should do something about VAC. It's already a fun game, just not a fun community.

People like Richard Lewis are still pretending cheating isn't a problem in this game. He just said, in relation to cheating in Valorant, that VAC + trust factor is an effective anti-cheat and he hasn't played against any hackers in high-tier matchmaking on months. This video proves what matchmaking is like for everyone, I don't know what game RL is playing but it certainly isn't CS.
Personally speaking I don't encounter any cheaters in CS.
Your second sentence is actually what he said and your other sentences partly contradict it. Compared to Vanguard it sure as hell is more effective.
I think his overall point was that it is not as wide-spread as people pretend it is. He never said it wasn't a problem at all but considering there will never be a cheat-free FPS, CSGO is quite decent. I haven't been able to play CSGO since quarantine hit so I don't know if it increased since then, before that I have encountered about 15-20 actual cheaters playing in MM against me in 2000 hrs of playing the game. Times my teammates screamed cheater about the topfragging enemy: about 300. I think his overall point is rather that the amount of accusations is so much more than the actual amount of cheaters that it's rather a psychological weapon against yourself at this point. Whenever someone accuses me I know they are delusional but I also know I can do the most outrageous peeks in the next round against them and make them work because they've already lost the game mentally.
BottomFragger looking through my match history where I have a 56% of matches with a ban since 2018 proves you wrong :) 1 account, 2k hrs €2000+ inventory. Matchmaking is absolutely pointless, only thing worse is free faceit where cheaters and smurfs are literally every game
I honestly feel like the cheating accusations have become much bigger of a issue than the cheats it self. People just excuse every loss on the enemy cheating, instead of putting on themselfs, and they wont EVEN CHECK THE REPLAY TO CONFIRM. I cant even remmenber the last time I had a game without people calling each other cheaters...ffs

The game is absolute cancer right now. Imagine being a new player who just got into CSGO because it's free- so you go to feel out the game by playing some non-prime casual and there are 5 spinbotters in your game. There is no way you stick with the game, or if you do you likely also are going to seek out hacks to level the playing field.
My friend plays non prime and i check demos and everything no game had cheaters in it
Spinbotters are the retards of cs go, there is professional cheaters in csgo which can make difficult to detect even in overwatch.
i am a newbie on csgo and already had shit experience. trash talk team hacker etc. i played dota before sea server but the trash talk in csgo is so toxic they kicked me out of the match somehow. never again.

I play with a friend of mine non prime and in competitive there were no cheaters, casuals are another story.... only spinbotters and aimbotter etc...

n1ghtmare well, I have had trolling the most from those: shitty mics, no infos, buying all rounds, just rushing all time as ct, never speaking English, not being quiet when trying a clutch, etc etc.
And well, the worst for me: putting the commands in the console so their player is moving or spinning when they go afk so they can’t be kicked by the server.
It’s always people from those countries.

I used to be that guys that would always say "they aren't cheating, they are just having an insane day. Maybe some faceit level 10 guys who lost their ranks and are playing mm. Possibly just a bit lucky with timings etc. too".
Then I started playing faceit myself and played against actual good players and I started to see a difference between good players and cheater. By playing faceit you learn how good players play and you much more easily notice the difference between an actual good player and a cheater.
When I go back to mm now, I come to realize how many cheaters there really are.

this game is unplayable. I track my matches and since january in my matches was 15 banned cheaters and idk how much not banned cheaters. Everyone peeks oddly, knows everything etc. And I have 3 k hours on high ranks so I am not accusing everyone but recently this game is shit. I am not focusing on game cuz I am watching profiles, getting tilted. It is sad that we all want to have just fun but we play CS:GO wasting time, so is Jeff.

Seeing how you broke down the dudes that were hacking it made realise that I've been playing with and against so many wallers but never realised. They acted practically identical to the hackers but I dismissed it as luck. But seeing it like this...jesus there are a lot of hackers in csgo. I definitely see the appeal of third party clients now....
Yep, totally agree, it took me 2 days to create a workable hack without easy detection. don't worry, csgo is more fun without hacks, so I only use it against other blatant cheaters. But I have a friend who played a little more with that hack, ~10-20 games. He hasn't been banned once. This really disappoints me tbh

To be honest csgo is game with best built in ac (vac) compare it to oters its much easyer to make cheats for callofduty or fortnite or other games that have their own ac. There Will be People that find way to buypass it. Even the Best 3rd party ac can be by passed ( esea ac and faceit ac) so dont sheet talk csgo for having Worst ac when they have the nest one. Only reason game has this many cheat creators is because there is milions of People that want to prove that they are beeter than you by using hacks

Hey, Jeff, I watched this video and I must say I FELL YOU BRO. A few days ago I played a solo match on Dust 2 (DMG-LE). I got matched against 5 cheaters in a premade. We were obviously better because they were novas playing with cheats and the game was going ok until the 15-20 rounds. Then, it happened. They'd gone full obvious. Shooting through walls, prefiring, everything. The match ended, we lost 13-16. Ok. A few days later I played with a premade team on Cache. About the fifth round I read the names of the other team and recognised something. Oh shit. It was them. 3 people from the match in Dust 2 were in this game also. I called them out in the chat and they were like "wtf?", "lol we're not cheating". Then, they fired up their cheats just like in the previous game, but this time we won. I can show you video proof that there were the same guys. I just don't get it. They were so obvious, I even went on a few report bot sites to report them..To this day.. nothing. If you are interested in seeing video proof just reply and I'll hook you up, thank you and keep up the good work because you're one of the best youtubers ever.

i myself tried report bots...but it does not work on rage hackers...idk how vac dont detect them...in asian servers you will get 2-3 hackers in a single game
Report botting is bs don't even try it, valve does not ban based on a number of reports

because i always love to see gotv but lately these people with high level profiles, blatant cheaters with 20K viewers were never banned. i wonder what the heck happened to overwatch? i get it VAC is an automated system and oftenly doesnt detect private cheats or premium ones
but Overwatch? how the hell did this happen? it's impossible for me to find a scenario the community didnt ban them for their plays. prefiring every angle and all sort, is there somekind of exploit they figured to not get Overwatched while blatantly cheats? or is there something in the Overwatch system that actually let them to do whatever they want? or is there a community where it's full of overwatchers but let these guys in particular go free?
i'm sorry for the long comment but steam discussion forums or anything doesn't really help or "interested" in this sort of topic. i understand why many people havent been VACed yet, but people who havent got Overwatch banned that was actually blatant are really trouble and makes me doubt about the system and the community

I think there is so many cheaters because of that trust factor update. Before it I have never seen a cheater on my main account which is prime. And now when i join a match there is atleast 2-3 cheaters in a prime competitive match...
When valorant came out, the amount of cheaters just increased. Last 5 games for me, enemy or my teammate was cheating. Absolute cancer.
becasue the non cheating gamers, who are tired of cheating, switched to Valorant.
So in csgo, there is only the scum left.

Yup, this is the mm experience even with a good trust factor. I constantly see players that have such a bad crosshair positioning, bad movement and just bad decision making but still have lots of kills because they toggle on the aimbot from time to time.
yea like people run and gun with ak and they hit you through the box in the head with one bullet :D in global... run and gun with ak while being 8 meters away and you're behind a box and they hit you from in front of the box, sideways. Or they got wh and do stupid, non sensical plays and you think they are just boosted silvers, but then you realize, they actually know more than they should and that's why you can't build up gamesense against them.

You know it is very sad that the game got to this point. I love CSGO! But I play it because I want to be better and I want to have fun. I have prime, as I have bought the game with prime, but my friend doesn't. He got the game for free and we are waiting for him to get to level 21, to get prime. However it is sad to see cheaters every seconds game (if not every game). We cannot get much xp, as we literally get destroyed, we cannot get better and we also lose the interest and the fun for this game. Every game I play, I am on a hunt for cheaters, both for my team and the enemy. But I am really frustrated and I cannot concentrate as I have come across so many cheaters that it just crawls up on me and I can't enjoy the game. venctoth02 hey,just some advice for ur friend..make him play casual for a while till he gets prime mm. There are a lot less hackers ,u can get better at the game and level up all at the same time..(I too downloaded cs for free ,levelled up by playing casual and now in LE) :)

What your saying from 17:33 pretty much exactly describes my current experience with csgo. I have just decided to stop playing, I wish it never came to this as cs is my favourite game, but it has just felt like a waste of time for months now.
Almost every single game there is at least 1 person who plays extremely suspiciously and 8/10 times i check the demo, it is clearly a low skilled player using cheats.

The problem with CS:GO is the second you face a hacker, every good play someone does becomes suspicious and this leads to enemy teams rage hacking if one of your teammates or even you are doing well.

Gotta say, Europe has it the worst. Every cliche you hear about Russians is true (though some are great).
if you want to rank up easily play in Asia (bring a team). lots of individual skill but shit teamwork and no strats until LE.

It is ridicolous that it is possible to cheat in this game so easily and without harsh concequences...
I can't tell yet whether valorant's anti-cheat system is any better but i feel like they did some good things on that game.

Hey man, I actually found you out almost a month ago when I was searching for Valorant content, then got introduced to your cs content, got me hyped for the game so I downloaded it and started playing. Wanted to let you know that I have it uninstalled now, you can't possibly play a cs game with less than two hackers in it. My alternative was downloading hacks, but the reason I installed the game was to actually experience it, not to have scripts play it for me so I'm having none of that shit. The most hilarious part of that all was that people do not give a crap about hiding their hacks at all, you see someone running around with his scope aiming at the ground between his feet, and then he jumps and kills all your team while still aiming at the ground! Nah man I'm done, I genuinely believe that at least 30% of the cs:go community are cheaters, lets just wait for Valorant, while riot are not flawless, they are never soft on cheaters.
Even when CSGO went Free to Play I didnt have problems with cheater that much at least. Now, its much worse considering that the amount of legit people left is much lower because of Valorant while the cheater amount is the same.
I started playing about a year or so ago. Had some really fun times playing the game, especially with my friends. Soon enough, I got to MG2 which was really rewarding considering I put in so much time practicing my aim and the maps and nades and all of that.
Fast forward to about 4 months ago. Not my proudest moment, but after 13 consecutive games with obvious wallhackers, spinbots, aimbots and the like, I rage hacked. Couldn't even do it properly, but I got banned either way. Oh well, that was a bad idea and definitely a low point in my csgo career. Racked up nearly 1k hours for absolutely nothing.
Started a new account, vowed to never use cheats again (even though I only used them for one game), deleted any file related to cheating that I had on my PC.

I can't enjoy a quick wingman without having the other team cheating or even my teammate cheating. Everyone is godly on matchmaking, even though we're only MG1/MG2. I literally uninstalled the game twice. None of my friends keep playing csgo as regularly as they used to, if even at all, and they're on prime.
I genuinely cannot understand why Valve would let this happen. Was it the source code leak? Was it just pure incompetence? What the hell was it? The game is a beautiful amalgamation of mechanical skill, gamesense, environmental awareness and teamwork. The game is practically the perfect tactical fps. Sadly, it has been completely ruined by Valve.
This really hurts, as stupid as it may sound. I actually care a whole lot about the game and its integrity. It's a really good game, even with the cases and all of that bullshit. They just had to let it die, without a replacement in sight.
@@alexsavastru8125 There is a replacement, it launches on June 2 and its called Valorant. I had a friend of mine who has a hobby of cheating in every game, shit hobby. He cheated in league of legends and got banned in a couple of days, he told me he paid money for the best cheats that should have been undetectable. Moral of the story is, riot (creators of league and valorant) does not play around with cheaters, you might find cheaters playing Valorant but they don't stick for long, it won't become the norm nor a culture of the game. Even if you think the game is not your style try it once and you might change your mind. Cs:go is a very fun game but I don't think anyone of its player base doesn't own cheats for it. its just that people sometimes decide not to enable them unless they find cheaters on the enemy team, and their definition of "Cheaters" is every one who headshots them once! so technically they just want to find a reason to enable cheats on. I had more than 40 competitive games where the following scenario happened and I barely got to play 60 competitive games as a whole. One person would be obviously hacking, then two rounds later people on the other team get mad and 3 of them at least enable spin botting, so the other team also gets mad and three of those enable spin botting as well. As a result you would have 3 or 4 out of 5 on every team literally aiming at the ground and killing you from a mile away and the two remaining people who don't have hacks are like sitting ducks hating every second of it. Better yet, if you decide to leave you get punished with cooldown. I decided to take a more permanent cooldown if you get my drift. Lets wait for Valorant, I personally am waiting for Cyberpunk 2077.
Feel sad tho cheaters said "we cheat for fun" althought the other team feels depression, its just sad and unfortunate. Well i hope all cheaters get banned tho.

the last time i really have good time was on CSS, and a the very start of CSGO, during DM everyone in the game will friendly speak to each other, and just have a very good time, now no one speak and if you speak, the other just get angry against you
I was "LEM" last year and didn't play cause of my job and stuff and comeback twice to counter-strike in the past 3 month. First rerank "AK" Okay fair enough i didn't play for a year.
Then reloosing my rank and rerank again "Nova2" well i was a bit confuse but i guess i can rank up fast i didn't loose too much skill and my aim and spray control is still on point.
But no 47 game for 1 rank up 41 win 2 loose 4 draw and just rank up from "Nova 2" to "Nova 3" and i can confirm to you hacker are not only on global elite but hacker on Nova are just more obvious like way more obvious. I mean 13 - 5 on our advantage and then 13 - 16 cause too of them activate spinbot with scout ^^.

This also explains why a lot of actual good players end up in lower ranks. At MG1 I've had games where I got surprised at the playstyle of my opponents. Some games had cheaters in them. But a lot of my games usually were clean games with some of the games containing people in MG that should clearly be above MG.

This video is a great example of why i stopped playing once I reached global... Either spend money every month to play against minimal cheaters or quit.
The lower the ranks, the more obvious these cheaters are. They have absolutely no idea how to play legit / hide their cheats. On ranks below LE it's just ridiculous and once you tell them you know they're cheating, your whole family will get offended, and you will be told how bad you are - despite the fact you have more frags than a cheater...
I've been a legit global some time ago so I know exactly how the game looks without cheaters: you just die and you know why, someone simply was better at this situation. Sometimes you actually compliment your enemy, because you know he got you and it was... nice! I learned a lot from such people.
Even in the good old days, after using BAN Checker, there was more than 1 cheater (VAC banned) for all the games I played... Now, after getting deranked because of few weeks absense, you're getting into matches with cheaters in around 8/10 games. It's better on LEM+ because people at least try to hide it, but still, these hack vs hack matches a new standard these days.

i get like 1 in 7 games w/ cheaters at gold nova 2, and i didn't see any cheaters in the 3k hrs i spent in silver 1 and silver 2 matchmaking, even when reviewing demos after the fact and checking accs.

I go between silver and gold nova. I believe i myself am good enough for gold nova however due to bad and toxic teammates with no microphones makes games unenjoyable meaning I’m either carrying or playing bad. But related to the video i hardly come across cheaters. And the times i do see cheaters in my games, they are not blatant like the ones in your games. I have over 200 competitive wins therefore a high trust factor. But what amazes me is how there are more blatant cheaters in global elite( the supposed best rank in the game) then silver.

Hey there is no real difference between Gold Nova and Silver..... and the guys in silver/gold who are good are either smurfs or players who came back after a long break.... i was LEM in 2017 then stopped playing -> 3 years break. restarted few weeks ago got ranked Gold Nova 1 ... ofc i got called cheater almost every match lol.... funny thing is that i get pared with other ex LEM or ex Supreme who had a break a lot. Some games we were 3 random ex LEM comming back after years break in a gold Nova 3 match ... 16-0 T_T ofc to real gold novas our play might have looked like cheating or as you describe it as not so obvious cheating... when infact we just know most of the angles , prefire spots , flashes , and play with headphones and sound....
My Experience is the higher the ranks the more cheaters.
