"Not your fault. I lose an officer, and you get a ball in your leg. Walk, can you? ..Not your fault. I've just said so! Just so." that guy is so obnoxious, lol!
Pardon my ignorance, but what was the idea of the conversation between the Engineer officer and Sharpe? I get the jist of most of these kind of encounters, but they are dancing around the point a little too much for me. Would anyone mind explaining, please?
Sharpe's losing his company for political reasons, but the officer recognizes his skill and is offering him some respect. He's one of the few that don't outright hate Sharpe.
The proper procedure is to swab the gun barrel with a wet wool sponge between rounds so you don't ram a charge on to a hot ember. A guy did that at a Fourth of July celebration in Provo, Utah, in 1983, and both the ramrod and his arm went flying across the park.
@kenx81 because nobody has realised he did. In the books he did the same in india to another good officer. He doesn't like officers who are friendly to the men; thinks they should act like proper gentlemen and flog the troops, the bastard
"You hate me? Well I hates you!"
"I do, I do, I do, I hates 'em."
Obidiah's talking into the hat is eerily Gollum/Smeagol-esque
he's telling him that he wants him gone only because he makes all the captains nervous because he wants a captains commission
RIP pete postlethwaite
top actor and top bloke
I like Col. Wyndham for some reason. He should have stuck around for more episodes. I think he was killed in Sword in the book series IIRC.

Breaking 👏 every 👏firearm👏safety rule 👏 IN 👏THE👏BOOK👏
It's painful, watching him get away with it... I'm sure it'll come when the times right.
Oh he gets away with a crap ton more before he finally gets what he deserves. Frankly Sharpe should have shot him first time he saw him.
I always am disgusted by Seargant Hakeswill, magnificent acting.
Fletcher the engineer also plays a midshipman in Hornblower
dude, this Colonel Windham talks about a mile a minute
We need Hogan and the old Wellington back.
What is he, Golemn? "WE HATES THEM, WE HATES THEM"
@Timrath I think so. They used water or piss to clean out the musket barrels too.
THIS IS PART 8!
*9
Yah!!!!
PLEASE KEEP ON UPLOADING THE REST!!!!!!!XD

Hehe, that Officer has a screw loose...
Is Obadiah talking to his Shako?
BANG!!!!!
if these men could just see the world as it is 2day, they'd be disgusted
This colonel always comes off as kind of smarmy, doesn't he?
awesome will you be loading the rest of Company? :)
Sharpe can be a bit too moody for his own good at times.
Phew... I thought something was missing, the uploader just misspelled 8 for 9. All's here!
Did they really pour water on overheated cannons? Wouldn't that weaken the metal?
They could explode as well

Why does he talk into his hat?
Because he’s nuts
I preferred the previous actor with the giant nose to portray Wellington.
