IS had been trying to get KCW on the show for 10 yrs and he declined, uncertain whether his songs would be “immortal”, and he waited for 10 yrs. LSY’s and other performances dispelled that concern. This special had the largest number of applicants to be in the audience. KCW is CJH of Jannabi’s idol and he considers himself as a son of KCW. CJH’s mother is a fan too. He said that every word KCW says is like a lyric of Sanullim’s songs. CJH was in KCW’s dream so the latter wrote a poem for CJH. “My youth 40 yrs ago, seems to be wearing a monkey mask and dancing in the forest along the river of Daeseong-ri.” KCW texts LSY often and when he wants to drink, he texts, “I’ll see you at the Centaur Pub in A.D. 27021.” KCW considers that he shares the same blood with Crying Nut. In 2006, they had a joint concert, a national tour. They described KCW as being mischievous, childlike and innocent. Crying Nut is oftentimes at KCW’s home more so than CJH and LSY. JDH mentioned becoming a professor at the same school as Solji. IS called JDH an adventurer as he recently donated wells for children in Tanzania. His wish is to be invited to KCW’s place. LSY wanted one of JDH’s 15 trophies as he hadn’t won one. LSY’s other wish was to be able to hold a trophy up high and have the fans cheer like in soccer ⚽️🏆. KCW had written the song on his son’s 1st birthday in 1981 when he was writing a song every week. He had 2 days before it’s release on radio, went into another room and did his homework of writing the song. Solji’s caring interpretation made him realize it’s a sad song. The winner’s couch was surrounded by Sanullim’s albums. Prior to this episode, CJH had 1 previous win. This year Pentagon’s “Feelin’ Like” topped the Music Bank charts. CMG said Pentagon’s dancing awoke the devil in him. Pentagon selected “Rascal”. (I want one of their jackets.) They debuted 40 yrs after KCW. Sanullim was concerned about going mainstream in 1979. Rascal was released as a children’s song. KCW said Pentagon let themselves go and that their dancing looked like there was zero gravity. KCW did the artwork on the albums. He draws and paints hoping that it will take him to the world of innocence. Pentagon revealed they are fans of CJH. Then Lee Keumhee’s golden hands picked LSY whose solo concert was sold out in 5 mins. Even his clothing merch sold out. He picked “The Meaning of You” described as happiness in seeing a lover. He added all of his ideas, and wants to record the song in his album. When this aired, LSY was going to give his concert at Olympic hall. LSY wanted to look at the video and say he did an amazing job (yes, you did). He stretched before entering the stage. The white coat was nice. LSY started off by softly whistling then singing then subtly moving to the beat. His tongue made an appearance followed by his right arm. The high tones were followed by starting to rock both arms. He frees the microphone from the stand to give it a life of its own, and works the stage including vertically by bending down. His musical beat is palpable with accentuated movements. He’s excited to have an audience and then the iconic placing the microphone over his ❤️ happens. He descends on one knee taking it down a notch with intense eyes. He starts swinging his arms, standing back up with the volume up and his entire being in rhythmic beat. He kills the sound but the rhythmic drum beat lingers. Shiny confetti falls and he blows it off his face. Somewhere along the performance, Ravel’s “Bolero” came to mind. LSY had no regrets, thinking he did very well. CJH said he realized why people were obsessed with LSY. Pentagon and KHH couldn’t take their eyes off the stage. Crying Nut was impressed. Bomi thought this performance fit the KCW special the best. Another member of Jambinai said she would re-experience this performance again if he records it. GSW mentioned that he has a voice that captivates women’s hearts. Solji said it was like he choreographed his dance, he has his own groove. She said a charming component is his tongue. Kyungrok felt he was singing with his heart 🎤and soul, and thought he was watching the next KCW. Kyungrok, JDH, KJH and Chanwon ended up parodying the cool microphone over the heart move. KCW said LSY’s performance made him feel like a mother who gave birth to a singer. IS labeled KCW as a father to CJH and a mother to LSY. Lee Keumhee asked KCW if the two wanted to remake “The Meaning of You” and he could only help one, who would it be and what would they offer. LKH is mischievous too. KCW said they didn’t have to make an offer. CJH refrained but KCW said he would feature on his remake as his father. As LSY’s mother, KCW said LSY would use his own energy to live well on his own. LSY cheered he could do it and thanked KCW for giving birth to him. CJH thanked KCW for raising him. CJH and LSY had collaborated to sing “Youth” to KCW.
