Common sense that's the secret of Malayalam movies.. 💯✔️
yeah. eg: the Premalu last fight scene :) I thought the boys become superheroes like Dhanush in Tamil or a police van would come to the rescue. But it totally changed with lots of common sense.
@@joygeorgekin telugu movies the hero will definitely fly with his car to hit the villian😂😂

Hera Pheri, Drishyam, Bhool Bhulaiya, Bhagam Bhag, Golmaal, Hey Baby, Chup Chupke, Bodyguard, Dhol, De Dana Dhan, Garam Masala, Housefull, Hello Brother, Hungama, etc. are remakes of 80s and 90s Malayalam movies.
It's been Bollywood's source material for a long time.
that's the funniest thing.. no one accepts this FACT as well.. it's mostly made by the same director as well
Most of them remade by Priyadarshan a malayali himself!
Right... 👍🏻👍🏻🙂
Malayalam movies have always been great, it's not a recent phenomenon. Back in the 80s and 90s Mollywood was a bigger industry than even Tamil and Telugu, only Bollywood was larger but it didn't grow as much because they refused to make low quality massy masala movies like Tamil and especially Telugu. Malayalam film makers were fine artists.
It's only now that Indian audiences have matured enough to appreciate Malayalam movies.
Pin this Comment!!!
80s, 90s cult classic Malayalam movies were remade in Hindi in 2000s and 2010s... Which shows how much malayalam cinephiles were way ahead of its time ...
@PremChand-Salva
10-15 years ahead.. but most of those were Hollywood inspired.

Is it really that necessary to degrade another industry to elevate yours?? It just makes u sound stupid, just reducing the message u want to convey... If this is the kind of attitude and superiority complex u want to show, it just exposes ur cheap mentality and only wud turn away a lot of new audience making malayalam industry remain as the small industry it is
Look at the fahad pic on his lap😂😂
1980 - 1999 era is the classic of Malayalam filim ❤
The best thing about Malayalam movies is that they are so authentic and true to their culture, that makes them so relatable.
I thought Malayalam films are Indian films... Waiting until it takes over Indian film industry.
@@TheDarkKnight2008-j1o when a flop movie releases you say its a South movie why doesn't you say itz an Indian movie. When a blockbuster movie came in Hindi why you call itz a Bollywood movie why doesn't indian movie?.
@@TheDarkKnight2008-j1odude Malayalam films are Indian films 😅

No we are not true to our culture.. Instead we accept every culture and go through all the realities of life.
In kerala every district have more than 30 theaters
We are the only audience
Watch tamil cinema in tamil
Telegu cinema in telegu
Hindi movie in hindi
English movie in English
We also watch so many korean movies with subtitle
In 90s malayalam movies are far better than entire indian cinema industry
Subtitle it is.

Did you notice the showdown between Mollywood and PVR. The whole Malayalam film industry united against PVR and won. Perhaps for the first time PVR could not do anything to them. Even Bollywood is scared of PVR, now PVR is scared of Mollywood.
It's a fact , now Mollywood is 🔥🔥🔥
Infact the whole of South India stood by malayalam industry against PVR...
@@shinyjoshy1235yes specially push and indian 2 makers
If they continue it PVR can forget malayalam industry and its audience even theatres in kerala
True🥰👍
If the situation comes to me, I will definitely go and stay in Kerala, its culture, food and nature are so beautiful.

The language barriers are fading away now. As a movie lover from Kerala i have watched movies from different languages from my childhood. I really enjoy every indian cinema industry. But Malayalam cinema often distributed on kerala only. Its feels great that Malayalam movies are getting better attention now❤

Watch 1980-1999 movies of Malayalam
One of the best of India
Sad reality is that north Indian friends weren't aware there was such an industry existed down south, due to lack of exposure and language unawareness.
They're not 'just' going crazy!! They were always awesome!
Sad it's only being recognized recently...
One of my Fav Kumbalangi Nights ✨️
Its hilarious to see the overwhelming love for malayalam cinema these days. Malayalam cinema has been great since ages. And none of the new actors can hold a candle to the yesteryear greats when it comes to sheer acting talent. There was period of slump in tje 2000s, but the performances were always top class!
i watched premalu the movie of malayalam industry ig thankyou for making video on malayalam movie although im a maharashtrain but i love malayalam movies
Thanks 😊

All the characters in Malayalam cinema are living and acting, None of them pretend to have supernatural powers, All other language movies act like supernatural forces that have come from nowhere in space This is why Malayalam cinema always remains good movies.Artistically and technically, Malayalam cinema is like its education

Kamal Hassan, sridevi debuted aa child artist in Malayalam movies. It was always like this. Malayali also as a audience loved movies with good writing. They never liked superficial larger then life, always.
Salil Chowdhury as a musician used to work heavily in Malayalam movies. Music too was always heavy on poetry and melody. Then, we should not forget technicians. It was always best on that. Budget can't be a restraint for a good story telling. Malayalam movies is a good example.
Nice Evaluation ❤😊
Classic films are being made in Mollywood ❤
Malayalam movies are something that can compete with hollywood , other industries are going on making commercial films only
@Sandeep_aiimshyderabad but they're making films having same story and have no logic in every single movie , they're only making action commercial films of no logic , they're heroes are having super human strength, that makes no logic
@Sandeep_aiimshyderabad it's not industries problem it's the problem of the audience, they only need that kinda films, if something made other than a commercial film it'll be a flop , but I think the audience r changing, cuz even commercial films are ending up on flops
Premalu and Manjumal Boys AWSM
Glad you liked it
Im Marathi but after watching premam 6 yrs ago, i started preferring malayalam movies over others. Even learned the basic language. Would love to settle there in future ❤
I am a malayalee, I also believe Marathi writers and actors have potential to be alongside great movie producing space....when Bollywood is down and almost out due to lack of creative thinking due to political pressure, Marathi can take this opportunity to shine and firm up its place.
True feedback and heartfelt request to all the audience to support good cinema irrespective of mass and budget. Hats off to you.❤
Good observations about Malayalam movies! Go ahead.
Malayalam movies stick with realistic stories.. day to day matters are taken as scripts .. people place themselves in the role of heroes
We are not taking over. Its not a competition. We need good movies in all languages.❤
Well said bro. Thank you for the supporting Mollywood 🥰🥰

India's first 3D movie "My dear Kuttichathan" from malayalam industry keralam
I have been watching Malayalam movies since 2017 and I am loving it ❤
Heard that "Hera Pheri" is still a cult classic in Bollywood. And no one knows from where Priyadarshan Copied it. (Most of the Bollywood Memes came from Priyadarshan's movies are classics of 80's & 90's Malayalam movies...)
Realistic industry ❤
Logic industry
If we compare today's movies with 80's or 90's movies, I would say the 80's or 90's movies will be more enjoyable. We can see ourself in those old movies. We can see common people's struggle, jobless people's situation etc. They have repeat value. When we watch today's movies, we just watch and enjoy. When we watch it again, we will not be watching the entire film, but some favourite scenes. That's it
The recent movies that released in 2024 were just one time watch. There were so many masterpieces made in Malayalam and these recent movies are not even half good as them. 80s and 90s were full of phenomenal actors and revolutionary scripts. Being said ,am glad the appreciation Malayalam cinema is getting now.
Malayalam movies were gret - from 1960s. It ia only now that others have matured enough to appreciate them.
Malayalam all is best movies 🎥😱👌👌👌❤️🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥
Premalu what a movie
Incase no someone didnt know, Manjummel boys and The Goat Life are Based on REAL LIFE!
the charm of malayalam cinema lies in how rooted it is in the kerala culture. it is still largely catering to malayalis. once it starts catering mainly to the audience outside of kerala, it will lose its charm. its possible that malayalam cinema might maintain its streak of producing some of the best movies in India content wise but for it to become as commercially successful as bollywood or even close, either the entire malayalam film industry would have to change or the audience would have to change
I will be watching as much as Malayalam movies in theaters this year
Being from Kerala.. I would say only recently.. the non Keralites have explored the Malayalam movies.
From my childhood I have been watching Malayalam movies and they are top notch 👌🏻

Malayalam movies were always great because they used brains to make a movie vs some industry who will just cut copy paste and prepare a movie. In Malayalam acting and good story is rewarded. I feel sorry for people who still watch copy paste industry
