Absolutely tragic how this weapon sorta just came and went it has SO much personality in the reload and the different fire modes. hopefully we can get a variant to pull this thing outta my inventory coffin
They could do a lot of stuff with the reload in a new variant or with a augment mod, my imagination is high now lol...

Personally I always thought it was pronounced the original way you said it, because it looks like "quartz."

Ah, one of my favorite Secondary weapons. It is the butter to my Yareli 's bread.
You are making me miss my Quatz. My Yareli has been trapped with Akfuris prime in SP Plains of Eidolon with all dragon keys for weeks now 😥
So, some neat tips about the Quackz:
The burst fire on this and the Quartakk variants work similarly to a shotgun, the difference being that each bullet exits the gun within seconds of each other. Combining this with Encumber means that after the first bullet, each subsequent bullet in that single burst gets its damage boosted, making the 4th shot hit immensely hard. This also explains why the gun kicks so fucking hard.
As you mentioned in the video, you can start shooting the primary fire and then ADS to keep the full auto while gaining the benefits of various ADS mods.
This one is Quatz specific, but the shockwave on reload benefits from Fulmination. Combining that with the fact that the damage will only be electricity with a guaranteed proc and you have an easy way to proc up an enemy before going in for the kill in the aimed mode.

If I remember right, this is the last weapon they released under the "Tenno Reinforcements" line, where they'd just release weapons by themselves, not in a major update

I remember my fun with Quatz. Got a riven for it an everything. Even renamed it to "Mini Uzi Vert" (instead of Lil). Fun times.
The way you do modding videos is so fun to me. I much prefer seeing the thought process behind modding the weapons, and how you go about getting to the final build.
I want to nominate the Aksomati for this series. Similar to the Quatz it has a unique reload that made me fall in love with it, it's still one of my most used secondaries.
Aksomati always seemed like a weapon a lot of people kinda forgot about, myself included. I wouldnt be surprised if its actually super good.
@@ARCHMAGOS-RATTLEBONES does have it's 24% base crit and 3x crit multi going for it, but the rest isn't the best.
Only 18 base damage (50% of which is slash, so that's not bad) and only 8% status. No gimmick either.
I could see some funky stuff with cascadia overcharge and Hildryn tho...
Add as much crit chance and crit damage as you can, maybe just a tiny bit of status and you got yourself a build.

Best thing with Quatz is first firing from the hip and while doing that, aim down sight, you’ll keep the full auto and have decent accuracy.
Ahh I love this gun! It may not be an ideal option, but I love running the electric-focused secondary arcane, since it can proc electric easily alongside viral and the like, and the +multi-shot +reload speed both synergize super well with it's default stats!
Euphona Prime would probably be an interesting build given it's similar style, but it's an alt fire based off buttons instead of ADS
I swear some of the coolest and most interesting weapons are secondaries. You know what goes neatly with a one handed secondary? A glaive, but not just another glyv prym, I mean stuff like the orvius, falcor, pathocyst and even halikar, each with something special of its own.
Especially with a bounce build, throw > forget > shoot > repeat.

Quatz reload may not do real damage, but the electric procs have on more then one occasion saved me from getting slapped while reloading
You know, I never knew about this weapon until I happened to get it in Duviri once. It was chewing through Steel Path circuit enemies even with the crappy default build.
Every time Quatz comes up, I like to remind people that there are mods which reduce magazine size, only usable in Conclave.
Several Conclave mods with no reason for them to not be allowed in PvE, only in Conclave.
I am rank 5, I have these mods and want to try them, I have spares to throw at people who don't want do a single round of Conclave...but no
Sure, DE has been sloooowly making some of them usable outside of Conclave, not enough of them.
Give me a reason why I shouldn't be able to blind Grineer with Ash's Tear Gas augment for Smoke Screen, any reason, I will even hear out some nonsense about ethical violations.
Ya, a handful wouldn't really have a function in PvE...and than there's Kinetic Collision for Volt: (Running into an opponent increases the duration of Speed by 4s.)
I just hope if they bring them over theyll be adjusted for the modern PVE scene, especially after how they massacred my boy rumbled. Thing had so much potential but its so aggresively meh unless you use a VERY VERY VERY specific build with all these gimmicks.
I would love a Kuva Quatz with firing mode swapped between with alt fire. As it is, it feels pretty weird, like an experiment gone wrong. Secondary Encumber is so cool.

With 1999 dropped and us getting pistol acuity I think the quatz is even scarier if you can keep up with weakpoint hits.
I would like to overstep my bounds a little and make a request for one of these. I would love to see how you would build the Rumblejack, especially with the Amalgam Argonak Metal Auger mod in mind, which makes dagger damage strip armor. As far as I can tell it works with Melee Influence, so I bet you could make a fun build with it.
Used this weapon in the circuit and it was NICE.
quatz reload does do funni with tornados
quatz is one of the weapons that gets my attention from one of your vids, but i find out you can hip fire while not in ads, hold fire and switch to ads so you aim, and viola ! you have full auto while in aim, i mean its not that awesome but its something

A favorite secondary of mine is sepulcrum I live the feel and heft of it and the secondary fire is fun run it with sevagoth and Yareli

Lmfao duuude i just got a riven for this last night so im building it again. This has happened a few times with your video release.
My riven on this is too good to reroll but it makes the gun almost uncontrollable.......it's like a single version of the double grattler.....but, reload speed has a unique effect from the electric procs....since it's a secondary it works great with the electric secondary arcanes......that makes a perfect loop. Electric procs will create reload and multi shot for more reloads and multishot......
my riven is fire rate CC and CD....I either use my quick reload build that exploits the stunlock and it basically makes every enemy an easy and vulnerable target...the other stretches out the clip to make a status build with rad and toxic for corpus or murmur
