@@oyandakona5994 he came the first time in 2014. He made Him A Butterfly with many South African, Zulu, Johannesburg and Nelson Mandela references and it became his best album till date. He featured Sjava, Saudi and Babes Wodumo on his album. He just returned to SA this year. He'll definitely return again
It was surreal. I’m a 44year old mother and was there jamming to Kendrick Lamar. It was an absolutely amazing experience. So glad to have a part of this.
I still get emotional watching this because it was my first time seeing Kendrick Lamar live, and I had worked so hard to buy those tickets. I was beyond excited-it meant more to me than anyone could ever understand. That night was truly unforgettable, a moment I wish I could relive forever. It's a bit sad that Hey Neighbour isn't happening this year.
GKMC is his best album. he literally said it at the concert. I was fighting with someone over it, because he said TPAB was the best, & then Kendrick confirmed it & started singing Money Trees 🤣
Man I hate being broke now I couldn't even went to the concert to my favourite rapper in my own country and city damn man life is unfair 😢 so wishing I was there 😔
The last time he came here, it was 2014 I think. I was at rhe front, next to the stage and this was when Good Kid Maad City was on full rotation everywhere. It was a mind blowing experience. I guess his mind was blown away by SA too, which inspired him to make To Pimp A Butterfly, one of his very best projects. Now that he's been here again for the second time, his next offering should be fire as well. I'm so gutted I missed this one though 😢 but onw day, I'll go on all his shows no matter where in thr world they are.😊
I won't forgive myself for missing this😭😭😭😭

I won't forgive you either
It was epic and the energy and the vibe was crazy ❤

Kendrick's best album and the greatest album of all time, TPAB, has a bunch of songs where he raps about being in South Africa. WE ARE AMAZING 🇿🇦

South Africans will always have a soft spot for TPAB because he greatly references our culture in that Album. But the classic is still GKMC.
