Do you have an affiliate link for that black one @ 2:04? I daily carry the Milwaukee Fastback with the bit driver on it but I'd carry that one sometimes too.
I've got an old Gerber EAB (not the Lite version) utility knife from about fifteen years ago that's still my go-to blade for most slicing tasks around the house. Anything too big for that gets fed to my Fiskars Pro, which I bought based on your recommendation.
i thought the primary reason for D shaped carabiners in climbing comes from the fact that ropes and other devices connected will apply force straight along the spine of the carabiner, which is the strongest point, rather than split between the spine and the open gate side, which could leverage the whole carabiner apart. The larger opening may be another benefit to the design.
Why would you be attempting to clip this to a large object? If they designed it to do so people would be complaining about how large the clip is bc most will attach to keys or bag.
Where is your Lutz 35701#357 Change Heavy Duty Utility Knife Made here in Cincinnati!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Standard in many industries. Built if you have to use one all day. In a warehouse, installing carpet ....
I have the Hawk Shortcut utility knife. It does cost a lot, but the quality and craftsmanship is amazing. Do not buy unless you have disposable income and price doesn't matter much to you.
I've gone through a bunch of pocket clip utility knives. My favorite is the latest from WORKPRO. I feel some loyalty to Gerber but have to admit that their EAB is junk in comparison.
I love your reviews.

Not a bad knife seems a little pricey for what it is. Thanks Doc
For times ceramic blades wouldn't fit have you tried the tungsten carbide blades as an alternative?
Designwise it seems the carabineer i meant for a belt loop
