Hi Paul, as usual, awesome presentation. At 6:00 minute of this video you talk about three things you do every day which make you and your team do 2-second improvements. Actually, you do four things. The last things you do every day is sustained. And I found it equally or even more important than the others.
@@paul-akers was thinking as the mold closes it pushes the magnets into an already molded part say maybe on the side of the machine ? so no need to install at a later time on the shop floor
Well we run our company from a philosophical standpoint. Step one is we are not there for us we are there to serve our customer. Step two we have two customers both internal customers the people we work with and her External customer is the one were providing a product and service for. We are servants and if we do that well our customer keeps returning to us and we will have a good life. We seek a good life by being a great servant by being great stewards of the time and resources that are given us. We understand that we must be the ultimate Advocate for the customers. We don’t have time to screw around if we philosophically think this way we are there to provide maximum value and service to the people we respect and have gratitude to because they have entrusted us with their hard-earned money. Everyone in our company understands this.
Paul Akers you are the best. So, you have to select people very well or you install the culture on their brains even if they are lazy? How do you do it if you were not a great speaker?
I’m proud of the fact that I live in the greatest country in the world and I’m grateful for all the opportunity that’s afforded me and my team because of the sacrifice of so many people that went before me.
We have used fiverr lots of times, there is no way you got that animation done for a fiver, most of these start at around £100 and that is for a piece of garbage. you only get what you pay for and fiverr is no different.
@@paul-akers That's just my experience with fiverr, I've tried a few times, and always very poor results from people who are clearly overstating their experience and skills. perhaps i'm doing it wrong ?
Perhaps you should think twice before you tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about just because you don’t know what you’re doing doesn’t mean I don’t know what I’m doing
This was a great presentation, from start to finish. And no waste in between.

Super observation, Aleksander! That is one of the 5S (Sort/Straighten/Shine/Standardize/Sustain)!
Great talk sir!
Can you use the injection molding machine to insert the magnets in the push stick?
Yes by hand

just thinking maybe the machine could do double duty as already using hydraulic pressure anyway
Paul, they do the work fast and then they have more time to talk between them, when you are not in the company... How do you change this waste?
They don’t talk they work and deliver value to our customers.
Paul Akers it is difficult to believe that they not talk between them during 15 to 30 min a day. How do you control it?
