  • This is a comparison and light review of the 3 top pants from LAPG. The Atlas, BFE, and the newest Battle Rattle. Hoping I can answer some questions or shed some insight on which to choose, or at least why I ended up choosing a specific one.

    I just got a pair for work. Love them so far. They're vastly superior to my Propper, Tru Spec and Blauers.

    Excellent and candid video!
    Which pant do you feel has the highest waistline?

    • @THSeitz22
      @THSeitz22  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Possibly the atlas due to them being more baggy and just a larger pant. All had the same inseam and room though

    I know this a long shot but which has the more athletic fit? I like my 5.11s but there to baggy looking for something that won’t bunch up the pants with a drop leg

      BFE or Battle Rattle fit tighter. The Atlas are baggy for sure so avoid those

    The opening below the knife pocket isn't really a pass through. It's to tuck your knife clip into to prevent it from snagging on stuff or scratching up vehicles or equipment. I love mine on my First Tactical pants! Good review bud!

      It’s not directly below the dedicated knife pocket nor is it high up enough to tuck the retaining clip into for items in your hand pockets, it’s pretty odd tbh.
      I tried First Tactical boots, sent them back, didn’t like the look or feel. 5.11s are my go to work boot

      Yeah its called a garage for your knife on the first tactical

    I’m 5’6 and I’m usually a 36x29/30 or 38 I’m looking for a pair of pants that aren’t baggy because I have tried so many but are so big and baggy, any recommendations?

    • @THSeitz22
      @THSeitz22  ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you tried the battle rattle? They aren’t baggy at all. The BFE will definitely have more stretch if you would like that

      @@THSeitz22 no I haven’t, I tried most 5.11 but not that one yet

    On the website it doesn’t say it has any elastic in the material. Do they have a decent stretch?

    • @THSeitz22
      @THSeitz22  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Their is a stretch band in the waist similar to other tactical pants such as the Tru Spec 24-7 pants. The pants themselves have decent give, I don’t have a problem with crouching down or anything.

      I haven’t noticed a discernible difference

    How are they in really hot days?

    • @THSeitz22
      @THSeitz22  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We just had a few very hot days and they weren’t bad, I think the BFE’s would be a little more breathable but I have definitely wore worse pants.
