    I’m a proud kapampangan ❤️❤️❤️ I’ve been watching a lot of provincial vlog about preparations of food for weddings, and different parties. I’ve noticed that kapampangan preparations is totally different specially when it comes to sanitation. Kapampangan are known to be very organized and very particular when it comes to cleanliness.

    I just love hearing my Kapampangan dialect, it’s like music to my ears! Popular tamung Kapampangan because of the way we cook, full of love and passion. I can’t wait to visit with my family. I left Angeles City Pampanga in 1988. I am very proud to be Kapampanga!!! (Olivia from the US)

    I’m not from Pampanga, my father is from Guagua. This brought back a lot of memories. Whenever my dad go home to visit, he takes me with him. The spirit of the Capampangan is unique. Just like the dishes, I never find them anywhere. Every capampangan food I tasted is uniquely delicious. They can even cook a shoe and make it taste like one of the best dishes you had. The biringhe is so awesome, I call it the paella of the Philippines. The sisig is out of this world. Miss them so much. Also the buro, the odor will deceive you from it’s delicious taste.😊😊😊

    I understand other people's frustration. When a documentary series aims to educate viewers about the rich heritage and history of a location, the director often narrows down the shooting location due to budget and time limitations. However, it should be noted that Angeles City has become so popularized that when foreigners visit Pampanga, it becomes their primary destination to explore. This prominence is largely influenced by media's role in promoting the province. Similarly, one can draw a parallel between Manila and the heartland of the Philippines, as it symbolizes the entire archipelago despite not being geographically representative. While there are numerous lesser-known places in the country that deserve global recognition, the director may have chosen Angeles City as an ideal starting point to delve into Kapampangan Culture, given its thriving economy since the Pinatubo Eruption.

    what i like about kapampangans is they always think their the best. almost all the dishes presented are influenced by another race/ethnic group. typical kapampangan: "Why do kapampangans cook so well?" Chef's answer: thats true for every province, every region, so we can not say we're the best."

    • @MeowMeow202
      @MeowMeow202 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t think it’s because they think they’re the best, it’s because they speak up and not shy to tell the world that being Kapampangans is fun, they’re proud of their heritage. Some groups want them to be like this or like that, be a certain way to fit their ideals of what a Kapampangan should be. Only a Kapampangan can decide how to be a Kapampangan! What’s wrong with that? If you’re not happy about it, confront them lol 😂 you have the right to speak up, but be prepared for the consequences.

    I was going to share this video with my international friends as it highlights the best of what Pampanga offers, but no - the host ruined it. He's too inexperienced and looks intimidated by the guests especially Tayag. He's too meek and contrived - not to mention his English grammar gaffe a couple of times (How DID your business startED). Moreover, he did not even pay tribute let alone recognize Aling Lucing as the originator of sisig. He was there already eating in the very place where sisig was actually invented. Tayag or even Carreon could have been a better host. Too amateur, and not even a good amateur. An elementary school project level. What a waste!
