Nice kitchen but I did not see I dining area or kitchen/dining table. Where do you sit to have meals?

In a home of this size, you need to make every square foot count so the coffee table would double as a table to eat on. It’s a lifestyle purchase 😄

If that was in Florida, I'd pay cash for it right now. But Trudeau etc. is a non-starter. For maximizing personal freedoms, right now, the U.S.- say, Florida - is a much safer bet. Good luck to you!

This would make an amazing Airbnb opportunity in my opinion. I know there’s concerns politically but there’s still lots of freedom here, definitely things that need to be worked on too no doubt. If this was in Florida on the water, I wonder what it would be priced at?!

@@BrandonVincentRealty Depends on what part of Florida, in terms of price.
The challenge with property rights is - they are even less respected than personal freedoms by Trudeau's type of politics.
      EXAMPLES
      - in 2019, politicians outlawed the ability of property owners to set their own rents in the entire state of California
      - the same thing occurred in Oregon in 2019.
What would happen to the number of doctors if a state told all doctors "we have outlawed your ability to set your own fees"
What would happen to the number of grocery stores if a state told all grocery stores "we have outlawed your ability to set prices for the foods you sell?"
The same thing that happens when property rights are eliminated: SHORTAGES OCCUR. Doctors leave. Grocery stores close.
The shortage of rental units in San Francisco began building in the year 1979 when that city passed city-wide rent control The shortage is ACUTE now. And rents are astronomical. Same thing happened in NYC.
Once a government commences elimination of SOME property rights, other property rights can be eliminated at the drop of a judge's gavel.
It's worth keeping in mind, the property rights issue, if you're thinking about investing in property to use as AirBnB.
      .

@@Greg_Chase yea it’s a very interesting point to ponder on for sure.

@@BrandonVincentRealty Here in Florida, the original idea of maximizing personal freedoms is intact. I don't know how long that will last, but for now, it's the reason so many people are moving here.
People want their personal freedoms protected, which is 100% understandable. There are other states in the U.S. with the same situation but the weather is not as nice as Florida weather.
Nothing in life is perfect - that particular property on the lake has great potential, but the government heavy hand is no different from why we fled California in 2017. There is no honoring the personal freedoms we used to take for granted.
There is a need for people to become willing to stop giving the 'control freaks' in government the ability to eliminate personal freedoms.

    • @BrandonVincentRealty
      @BrandonVincentRealty  ปีที่แล้ว

@@Greg_Chase I completely agree Greg, because as you erode property freedoms, you start to erode personal freedoms and it’s a very slippery slope to decide where you draw the line and it can get out of control very fast.
As for the investment opportunity of this property, I think you’re safe to say there won’t be government regulation on Airbnb rentals because it’s a very grey area still. Even when our province’s government implemented the rent cap for about a year, it didn’t imply any airBNB rental situations as that’s more of a free market operation. If a property is over priced then it won’t get rented, much like the real estate market where if a property is overpriced, the market will let us know and that’s the way I believe it should be, and lucky for this lakefront home, I believe it’s priced perfectly 💯
