I just started riding tracks at Orlando too and I gotta say watching how you cut the throttle before most jumps really opened my eyes on how to approach them. I've been having the issue of keeping the throttle open through the jump and I'd land with the rear touching first. Going to be trying what you do tomorrow.
@@josephting8806 yes I like to charge to a jump as hard and fast as possible and be off the throttle when taking off. I like the way the attitude of the bike stays stable and calm. Now, be careful not to “chop” the throttle up the face. It’s somewhat common for beginners and sometimes I do it on accident and it’s bad. Chopping the throttle means being not on the throttle up the face and then hitting the throttle hard right as you take off. This generally throws you into an endo and can throw you over the bars.
@@josephting8806 I don’t really set it up any particular way. I adjust compression and rebound as needed. Basically if I start getting arm pump or it feels like the braking bumps are really beating me up I start making little changes until it feels better.
Great vids bud! Are you getting around the track in 3rd down to 2nd in the turns? 3rd wide open or 3/4 throttle in the straight aways? Hitting the big jumps in 3rd or 4th? Thanks for the feedback…. I’m still learning and I’m usually in 2nd and 3rd gears and it seems like a lot of shifting in the turns. Thanks!!!
@@grezzmunke I just recently put on a pro circuit R304 Shorty silencer on the bike and that really shifted where the power hits. Now I ride 3rd everywhere except for 2 corners where I drop to 2nd. I don’t need to clutch much, the shorty silencer lets the power valve work well and the engine really logs 3rd nicely. I shift to 4th for the big table.
That’s the type of dirt I love ❤️💪🏻
@@goldmx1229 it’s great stuff
Nice ripping dude..that track looks good & flowey.😁👍🔥
@@dnickens20115 thanks man. Yes this is my favorite track lately. Good flow, good safe jumps, good dirt.
The bike barks with that new shorty
Yes definitely more bottom end
You did say I would jump the big table with a shorty haha
Nice riding man!
@@Tacopleaser808 thank you
Looking real comfortable on the 2stroke!! I’m sure the 4strokes in the garage are looking at each other nervously 🤣
@@estevelarde Hahahahaha yes they are
Love watching the videos keep it up!
@@Ap.luvsdirt thanks man!! Will do!!

@ What do you typically set your suspension for? A harder slower rebound and faster compression?
