My dad would print out some business cards and would hand them out to his friends. After doing some jobs for them they would tell their friends and so on. @@angelrosario9584

It’s better to have a van or truck to carry parts and certain jobs might require you have one, so you’ll have somewhere to put the old door/opener. Also, you’ll look more professional to your customers if you arrive in a van or truck.
But you technically can fit most of the parts in a car, if you’re starting out and just doing spring changes and small repairs only. This isn’t recommended but can be done. (We’ve even seen people convert a Prius into a work vehicle)
But if you plan on working full time and taking all types of jobs, a van or truck is necessary 👍
