four years laters and this was pretty much excellent geez. fact drummer is playing bass lines while drumming is nuts. favs: mostly M.e. and interstate vision
Listening to THX for the manyith time. It really is a hidden gem, and the production IMHO is outstanding. You feel like you're in a room witnessing an intimate chill performance. It's really stood the test of time with me.
I love this host, she's fluid, chill, and asks great questions :) and Lomelda is awesome, great find. That Kimya Dawson + Norah Jones comparison is spot on!
I was playing some radio on Spotify while sleeping and it felt so surreal waking up to one of their songs, I wasn't even sure if I was still dreaming or not.
Great album. Been listening to it nonstop for the past week. I've got a long commute this month and it makes the ride way more enjoyable. Lovely live stream, Audiotree.
Astoundingly substantial. Ive never heard something so calming yet shattering, so soothing yet heartwrenching. Juxtaposition. What a beautiful place to be.
The host of the session is one of Kristen Stewart's best performances so far. I'd put it up there with her performance in Still Alice and Clouds of Sils Maria.
At 27:26 is when I thought to me self: 'hey, me self...they should tour with Khruangbin' (of course Lomelda had me dead bang with de-lite from the get go). pat me on the back hahaha, no seriously, make it so. :)
Saw these guys opening for Pinegrove in Austin and they kept whining that the crowd was talking too much but it was an outdoor show on 6th street. The sound was actually other bands playing next door. If you wanna play this quiet go to a coffee shop, not an outdoor music venue in downtown Austin.
Indieheads Podcast, I agree but I didn’t see or hear talking. There was loud noises caused by the music next door however which they equated it to people talking.
I was at the same concert at Barracuda - Hannah also played bass for Pinegrove. It wasn't Lomelda complaining about crowd noise, it was the middle band. You're right about the concert noise next door, but it was also the rudest/most obnoxious crowd I've ever seen at a concert.

playing the bass part on drums with a sampler is legendary
pro trick : watch series on flixzone. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
@Khalil Jedidiah Yea, have been watching on Flixzone for since december myself :D
@Khalil Jedidiah Definitely, I've been using Flixzone for years myself :)
I was trying to work that out.
her voice is soo beautiful oh my god I could listen forever
this is one of the best live radio show mixes i've ever heard
I love it when a band puts a permanent smile/grin on my face, an that’s exactly when this band does!

I felt bad for her at first, trying to get an answer out of Hannah was like squeezing blood from a stone haha
Great questions like "Do you like sports" and "Take me through your songwriting process" ...it was painfull!
saw this band live and it was probably the best set I’ve ever experienced
I agree.
same
same, saw them last week :')
Seeing them tomorrow !!!
I love Hannah's face as she decides not to explain what it means to break someone's ankles.
Stunning stunning ethereal performance, goose bumps start to finish

I got chills listening to Bam Sha Klam. Hannah's voice really is something else man. Feels like someone ripping their chest open for all to see
she makes me cry :( if u ever read this Hannah i love u guys
Astoundingly substantial. Ive never heard something so calming yet shattering, so soothing yet heartwrenching. Juxtaposition. What a beautiful place to be.

Adam Gelatt go Spurs go is what he would say
That conversation about basketball may have been 5 minutes long, but I swear it felt like an eternity
Some great songs here, really like the 3 first in particular. This reminds me a bit of Cat Power too. Indie is back!

The host of the session is one of Kristen Stewart's best performances so far. I'd put it up there with her performance in Still Alice and Clouds of Sils Maria.

Killer line up
I find it so funny when a band literally don't want to talk and just play, its so funny and shows how good the interviewer is!!!
haha so funy Noel harry son
If you like this band, check out the band florist, they sound really similar.
drummer playing bass is fucking amazing

or you can just shut up while a band is playing, seems like the easiest and most respectful thing to do
Indieheads Podcast, I agree but I didn’t see or hear talking. There was loud noises caused by the music next door however which they equated it to people talking.

yeah it wasn't lomelda complaining, it was florist
i love florist but they seem like the type of band that would ask people to quiet down
the singer is so awkward lmaoo
she's amazing but thanks to people like you she probably feels very awkward lmaoo
Mataphysics I didn't mean that in a offensive way at all I think it's cute
She's probably just a little shy or probably doesn't give a shit I find it cute either way
how do audio tree live have the best bands and the worst hosts
Is this a musical sleeping pill?
