It'd be cool if you could make some kind of animation on the minimap (such as an arrow or player icon moving around it) to give a simplified visual guide to your predicted route. That would make it much easier for people like me who are not super familiar with these courses to follow and propose alternatives, and of course to compare to the final thing.
But then after a few times of playing the courses you’ll get used to the layout, so it’s kinda useless and would just be an added feature they probably won’t add.

Oh Jesus Christ! Berlin Byways is basically the Rainbow Road of City Courses. Even I can't wrap my head around it. I think the way to end this race is clearly do part of Byways 3R and then the rest of Byways 2 after you've done Berlin Byways 1 up till the straight bit for Lap 3. Even at that I forgot how crazy my favourite city course is going to be with all of those lap configurations in the BCP Version. At least we'll be listening to a great bop whilst getting lost in Germany. 😂
This might be one of the longest tracks in the DLC and the entirety of Mario Kart 8! Like I could a good 3 maybe 4 minutes of racing just based on the speculation in this video! I'm all for a long track! More time to hear that banging music!
I personally think the route will go a bit differently, with Lap 1 being the Berlin 2 route unchanged from Tour, Lap 2 being the Berlin 3 route but going through the new side road to loop through the Tiergarten, which leads to Lap 3 being the Berlin 1 route unchanged from Tour. This feels like it'd be less confusing and allow each lap to build on the previous with only the central spine as shared terrain.

If only they decided to use the whole roundabout at the Victory Column. That would've made this track simpler. If the roundabout were entirely used, Lap 1 would be Berlin Byways 2, then Lap 2 would follow Berlin Byways 3. After the final turn on that route, racers could drive toward the Victory Column and do a 180° turn around it. After that, racers would end up driving the opposite way toward the Brandenburg Gate and start Lap 3 which will be Berlin Byways 1. Using that roundabout would've cleared so much confusion. Unfortunately, my prediction will probably not be accurate at all.

The recent Peach vs Bowser Team Rally finally gave us the third Amsterdam Drift route, plus the Wave 2 datamines showed that Amsterdam Drift is literally next in line, being the first course in Wave 4, so now would be the perfect time to do so.
I hope this prediction is accurate. This track became so complex because of that 1 small strip of unused road. If this is accurate it will easily land in my top 3 DLC tracks so far!
