"...the future could be even crazier" - truer words never spoken. This is a beautiful acting vignette by these two. Understated, not overly dramatic - just two actors who really nailed the good writing with good directing from the director. And, the bond/chemistry between the two (JW and KW) really shines here. So well done, all around. (But, odd, one minute she needs the ring, the next his love is all the security she needs - they couldn't keep it straight even in the same conversation).
No one is forcing her. Kind of an odd thought to think a woman "earns" an engagement ring - as though it is a payoff or something. She is part of the couple and no one has made her stay with the guy through everything; she loves him. I'm with him - I don't get the need for a ring, especially as they cannot afford such an extravagance.
Emma Samms left in early September and Tristan followed her in December. I think his contract was up and at the time he couldn’t see a future without Robert and Holly. They were the super couple from 83 to 85. On the show, the writers at the time wanted them to live happily ever after and go happily to Australia together. They weren’t going to come back at the time.

Robert should have stayed wrote it he-n-Holly divorced
TR wanted to leave at t5his point and then returned a year later. He want to explore other opportunities outside of the GH at this point
